Chapter 574

By the time she turned twenty, she had never been in a relationship, and this dream of wearing a wedding dress was buried deep within her heart.

As she grew older, she became busier and busier. She was busy with her studies, busy participating in competitions, busy winning honors, and busy making money. Her daily schedule was almost identical, boring and uninteresting.

In the dead of night, she would often question herself deeply: was it really what she wanted to be like a spinning top, constantly turning every day?

People say that college life is the freest, most carefree, and most wonderful time, but she feels that it is just as busy as junior and senior high school. Apart from attending classes with her classmates, she spends all her time confined to a small space.

While eating, my classmate video chatted with her boyfriend. She finished her lunch as quickly as possible, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and found the most comfortable position to start typing. While my classmate sat cross-legged playing games and grumbled about her teammates' mistakes, she was at her desk rushing to finish her homework and manuscript. On the weekend, while my classmate made plans to go out, she was still busy with her homework and manuscript in her dormitory.

Having grown accustomed to this busy life that had lasted for years, she could no longer stop. Even a moment's pause would fill her with a sense of guilt for having accomplished nothing. This guilt, like an invisible and intangible claw, gripped her heart tightly.

As the end of the semester approached, while her classmates were busy catching up on all the assignments for the entire semester, she divided her time into two parts: one part was spent with her books, practicing and reviewing, trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible; the other part was spent typing on her phone in bed.

At times like this, she would draw her bed curtains tightly shut, leaving no gaps, separating herself from her roommates and isolating them from their joy.

Having become accustomed to striving for tasks, she rarely gave herself any independent space to think. Her personal moments of leisure were completely filled with tasks.

She was unwilling to give herself even a little extra time to do what she wanted to do.

Living as someone else, she belatedly realized how utterly exhausted she was.

A small spinning top is no longer a small spinning top once it stops spinning.

If she were to return to the real world one day, she would not give up her original way of life. She would still strive for her studies, honors, and even money, and would not allow herself to feel guilty for taking time off from her busy schedule.

Similarly, in this world, she will plan her life according to the original owner's lifestyle. She cherishes this luxurious leisure time and gives her mind a break.

Wei Yu was unwilling to make the wedding dress, but Lan Qingyue wanted to seize this rare opportunity.

She tried reasoning with him and appealing to his emotions for a long time, but Wei Yu still only said the same two words: "I won't do it."

Lan Qingyue thought she and Wei Yu were a very compatible team, but now, for the first time, this compatible team had a disagreement.

"Weiyu, why are you so stubborn? What's wrong with making one or two wedding dresses? Besides, this is already the third round, seven to three, it's brutal. Don't you want to win first place at least once?"

If the competitive Wei Yu didn't want to be number one, she wouldn't be Wei Yu.

But that's not a reason for her to compromise.

Lan Qingyue didn't understand how terrifying a person's obsession could be. Perhaps she hadn't experienced it herself, so she wouldn't have such a deep-seated mark.

At this moment, she felt that Wei Yu was too stubborn, stubbornly unapproachable.
