Chapter 11 Acid and Firecrackers

Time always flies by, and Chen Feng waited for a week before he knew it.

Compared to the goal-oriented struggle in his dream, Chen Feng had many more chores to do after he came out.

He still had to go to work, deal with apartment chores from time to time, and go to the company headquarters from time to time to attend some meaningless but necessary meetings.

This is the daily life of most urban white-collar workers in the world.

They are busy with mediocrity, saying that they must use their spare time to do something, but in the end, in the blink of an eye, the precious time was inexplicably stolen.

Chen Feng originally planned to take advantage of these few days to collect more information about music-related companies, no matter which city, and then take a year-end leave from the company to make a concentrated trip.

Or he could follow the entertainment news to see if there were any famous people in the music industry coming to Hanzhou for activities, and then follow the star-chasers to try his luck and meet a mentor on the way.

Unfortunately, he was not in the fan circle after all, so he could not get first-hand information.

By the time he saw it in the entertainment news, the people had already come and gone.

In the past half month, the only thing Chen Feng did well was to stick to his physical exercise and run ten kilometers every night without fail.

He did not run fast, but his purpose was to recover, and the effect was basically achieved.

After only two weeks, his physical condition had recovered a lot.

When he first started running, he ran for two hours from nine to eleven to complete the ten kilometers, which was equivalent to a pace of 12, which was a manifestation of a fairly weak physical condition.

But after two weeks, he was able to run ten kilometers in about seventy minutes using the fartlek method, and his pace became 7, which was a remarkable improvement.

Being young is good, and you can recover quickly.

At nine o'clock that night, he changed into sportswear and cheap running shoes, went downstairs, and left the community.

Winter was approaching, and Hanzhou was a little chilly at night. Chen Feng tightened his collar, looked around, chose a direction, and trotted forward.

In the first two weeks, he ran around the community, and five laps were exactly ten kilometers.

But running the same route all the time was a bit boring, so this time he decided to run farther. There were four traffic lights in the planned route.

But it didn't matter, he could take a rest while waiting for the traffic lights.

After walking about four or five hundred meters, he arrived at the first traffic light.

At this time, fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, his body was warm, and his feet were a little painful, all because of his bad shoes.

Chen Feng stopped, pressed his tongue on his upper jaw, and carefully controlled his breathing rhythm.

It was cold, so he couldn't inhale too hard, otherwise his side abdomen would easily hurt.

There were about twenty or thirty people waiting for the traffic light around him, most of them were young men and women dressed fashionably.

Although it was cool at night, the beauties were not dressed thickly, with short skirts and shorts, and black and white stockings of unknown thickness.

These people talked loudly and seemed to be in high spirits.

Most of the nicknames they used to address each other were strange names like "Lang Xing", "Wu Ma", "Hong Xiu", "Bao Er", "Hun Meng".

The content of their conversations was all over the place, as if they were promoting themselves by describing their own experiences, or they were carefully testing and guessing the authenticity of each other's identities, and perhaps they would even formulate various strategies in their minds.

Chen Feng looked at the street with flashing neon lights in front of the traffic lights, and felt a little confused.

The street in front was called Shaolin Road, which was a famous bar street in Hanzhou City. Many well-known nightclubs such as Super Club and Yuehe had large-scale flagship stores here.

These men and women should all be going to the nightclub to have fun.

Zhong Lei lives in Weston Apartment, and because it is very close to Shaolin Road, the nightclubs she performs in are basically concentrated here.

Chen Feng wanted to turn around and leave.

Considering his current age and the fact that he is single, going to bars and nightclubs should be his entertainment life.

But he really couldn't bear to give up the little money he saved with great difficulty.

Unlike other people of his age, Chen Feng can only rely on himself if he wants to take root in the city.

Even if he saves money every month, he can only save two or three thousand. It takes half a year of saving to buy a one-square-meter house in downtown Seoul, but at least he has a dream.

So even though it is close, Chen Feng has never liked to go to Shaolin Road.

He is afraid that he will be jealous.

Today he also wants to turn around and not go to Shaolin Road to make himself bored.

Just as he was thinking this, the red light turned green and it was time to cross.

The man and woman in front of Chen Feng were about to move forward when a fiery red Ferrari roared past them with a roar like a muffled bull, brushing past them. It was thrilling and exciting, with everyone cursing in shock, and the scene was a bit chaotic.   The

flaming taillights dragged four distorted light shadows on the dim street and quickly went away. The young men and women who had been chatting animatedly just now fell into an awkward silence after cursing.   Chen Feng had sharp eyes and saw the scene inside clearly the moment the car passed.   The young man sitting in the driver's seat was holding the steering wheel with his left hand and holding a woman's head with his right hand.   Chen Feng didn't see the woman's face clearly, but he thought she wasn't ugly.   It wasn't difficult for him to guess what the woman was doing.   This damn rich second generation.   Well, I'm still jealous.   Some people are born at the end of happiness, not like you.   Someone bumped into his shoulder, causing him to lose balance slightly and take a step forward.   Chen Feng walked forward with the crowd. Never mind. I've been jealous once today and I won't be jealous again easily.   Cross the road and keep running.   After crossing a street, it's only a few hundred meters away from the residential area on the other side of Weston, but it's already two worlds apart.

On one side, it was quiet and deserted, while

on the other side, it was full of lights and feasting. Chen Feng buried his head, ignoring the people coming and going around him, and just ran by himself.

While running, his mind was not idle, but he kept thinking about what to do next.

He had already copied two songs, and he should have made a big move. It has been two weeks since he came back, but he still couldn't make a breakthrough.

He didn't understand.

In so many novels I read before, once the protagonist got the golden finger, he would take off in minutes.

Why is it so difficult for me? Did I use the golden finger wrong?

Should I not copy songs?

Should I copy something else?

Next time, I should change my mindset, read more biographies, and then discover some entertainment stars who can rise in the next few years?

Since I can’t hold on to someone like Zhong Lei who was born a thousand years ago, I’ll settle for the next best thing and develop a few more less aggressive head offices, right?

"What are you doing! Let go! I'm calling the police!"

A scream came from not far away.

Chen Feng subconsciously paused.

He stopped so hard that he almost stumbled to the ground.

Chen Feng held on to the lamppost and looked to the side.

A woman carrying a guitar struggled to free herself from a young man's hand.

The man seemed to be trying to pull her into the car parked on the side of the road.

Well, it’s another red Ferrari. I don’t know if it’s the one that passed by before.

After being freed, the man tried to grab her again, but was slapped in the face by the woman.

The crackling sound was just like a firecracker.
