Chapter 99

The earlobe, usually hidden under her hair, was suddenly enveloped by a warm touch, the movements, sometimes light and sometimes heavy, filled with intimacy and ambiguity.

Xu Shiyue's voice was hoarse and calm, her lowered gaze filled with amusement, as if she were laughing, yet also scrutinizing.

Lu Shizhen's head buzzed.

She herself didn't realize that she had just let something slip, but Xu Shiyue happened to catch it.

A passionate kiss doesn't explain much, especially since Xu Shiyue hasn't let go of herself yet.

Lu Shizhen had only one thought in her mind: denial, and then she quickly ran away.

Her mind raced faster than ever before, and she stammered, "Because...because before I came here I did some research on S City and knew that the Xu Group is the largest company in S City, and then I saw your picture in your company's profile."

"You're worth hundreds of billions now, you're on the rich list, and you can find one of your companies in any financial magazine. Who doesn't know you?"

The dim light barely illuminated half of their vision, making everything seem both real and unreal.

Xu Shiyue listened to Lu Shizhen's explanation, narrowed her eyes slightly, and said, "Is that so?"

Lu Shizhen immediately nodded: "Yes."

Then something occurred to her, and looking at Xu Shiyue standing almost shoulder to shoulder with her, she reminded her with a hint of embarrassment and annoyance, "So, your current behavior is very unbecoming of your role as chairman! How could you come up like this... Your behavior is very disrespectful, do you know that!"

Looking at Lu Shizhen's self-righteous attitude, Xu Shiyue simply said "Oh" in a calm voice, her expression showing no apology.

The hand that had been resting on Lu Shizhen's waist was still pressed against her skirt, but the initial chill had now turned into warmth, gently seeping through the fabric onto the girl's skin.

Lu Shizhen has been living alone all these years, and has never been in such an intimate and somewhat ambiguous relationship with anyone.

She wanted Xu Shiyue to let her go, but knowing that she was a "stranger" who had intruded into someone else's territory, she didn't care. So she simply laughed it off and said, "Um, I'm sorry, I was presumptuous today. I shouldn't have sneaked in like this. Let's call it even. I have a book signing the day after tomorrow, and it's getting late, so I have to go."

After saying that, Lu Shizhen wanted to get out of Xu Shiyue's arms in a very natural way.

However, her so-called "event" was not approved by Xu Shiyue.

Before Lu Shizhen could react, the hand that had been rubbing her earlobe slid down and clamped down on her outstretched arm.

Xu Shiyue's hand on her waist not only did not agree to let go, but instead became even more insistent.

"Who gave you permission to leave? Did I say we're even?"

Xu Shiyue's voice was very low, and her question was full of dictatorial obsession and domineering.

As she said this, she moved closer to Lu Shizhen once again.

He suddenly kissed Lu Shizhen's lips again.

It seems she is putting into practice what she just said: "Let's even it out."

The dim light flickered on the low cabinet, casting their overlapping shadows onto the wall beside it.

The chill of early spring had long since vanished from the room; the mingling breaths gradually warmed, landing hotly on Lu Shizhen's lips.

Lu Shizhen's pupils trembled slightly, and in her slightly open pupils, all she could see was Xu Shiyue's profile with her eyes lowered.

She could hear Xu Shiyue's soft breathing as he kissed her, the calm was overturned, and the tender entanglement was full of ambiguity.

Lu Shizhen had never seen Xu Shiyue like this before.

She remained aloof.

Her thin lips, moistened and crimson like the most vibrant rose in spring, alluring yet obsessive, held her tightly in her arms with a frenzied force, kissing her as if plundering her.

The kiss continued.

Seemingly noticing her kissing partner's distraction, Xu Shiyue raised her eyes, which then came into Lu Shizhen's view.

Lu Shizhen panicked instantly, her eyes blinking wildly, unsure of where to focus.

Her gaze was completely occupied by Xu Shiyue, and nowhere else seemed appropriate.

Xu Shiyue smiled as she watched the person in front of her being caught red-handed.

She gently kissed Lu Shizhen's lips, and then instructed her as before, "Teacher Sixteen, after drawing so many comics, didn't you realize that the main characters need to open their mouths when they kiss?"

Lu Shizhen was stunned for a moment, then felt extremely embarrassed.

She didn't know why, even though not knowing how to kiss was a very normal thing, she blushed completely when she heard Xu Shiyue's words.

Moreover, as an author who draws adventure comics without any romantic pairings, let alone kissing, the last time she drew Lillian holding hands with someone was because a little girl couldn't find her mother during a war!

"No, um..."

Lu Shizhen was anxious to explain, but her mouth was immediately sealed shut as soon as she opened it.

Lu Shizhen is probably the only one who can be fooled twice in a row.

Lu Shizhen was caught off guard and had her breath stolen, sobbing involuntarily.

For some reason, Xu Shiyue's mood suddenly improved, and his passionate kisses slowed down, becoming more gentle and teasing as he pressed his lips against hers.

Lu Shizhen didn't know how others would react if they were forcibly kissed, but at least it shouldn't be her reaction.

There was no resistance, no disgust; in fact, she readily accepted Xu Shiyue's third invasion.

The palm pressed against her back continuously transmitted warmth into her body, making her feel as if she were falling into the clouds, as if she were being manipulated by Xu Shiyue.

Even unconsciously, she was getting closer to Xu Shiyue.

Subtle movements constantly tingled with the nerve endings in her clitoris; her unadorned lips were moist and glistening, slightly numb with bloodshot redness.

At the end, Lu Shizhen could barely stand, leaning against the low cabinet behind her.

Xu Shiyue lightly pecked her lips again, looked into her eyes, and casually mentioned the past: "You're learning much faster than when I taught you before."

Xu Shiyue's voice was gentle and ambiguous, and her slightly curved eyes contained a smile that contradicted her coldness.

Lu Shizhen greedily gulped down the oxygen in the air, trying to get her temporarily oxygen-deprived brain working again.

She really couldn't guess what Xu Shiyue was thinking, nor could she understand what she was doing.

She seems to be obsessed with her dead self, so why did she have to grind herself to dust?

There were too many questions; Lu Shizhen simply couldn't figure them out.

She stuck to her principles and refused to admit it, saying, "Miss Xu, I think you've really mistaken me for someone else."

“There are many people in this world named Lu Shizhen. I only gave myself this pen name because I found it troublesome to have the same name. I am not the person you are looking for.”

Lu Shizhen tried to reason with Xu Shiyue, hoping to get her to let go of her inhibitions.

Xu Shiyue disagreed, and retorted, "But isn't your name Lu Shizhen?"

Lu Shizhen wanted to deny it again, but Xu Shiyue rested her chin on her shoulder: "Stop fooling around, I'm very tired after a busy day, come upstairs and sleep with me."

Compared to her previous stubborn conviction, Xu Shiyue's tone and attitude softened somewhat at this moment.

She leaned against Lu Shizhen's chest, her breath heavy with exhaustion.

Lu Shizhen knew, of course, that Xu Shiyue carried such a heavy burden on her shoulders, and she had also witnessed firsthand what Xu Shiyue had gone through in the past.

This person, who always stood ramrod straight and was as aloof as a cat, had come close to her, and Lu Shizhen's heart was instantly thrown into turmoil and softened.

Memories of past intimate contact with this person surged restlessly in her mind, urging Lu Shizhen to nod in agreement.

Lu Shizhen didn't understand what was happening along the way. By the time she realized what was going on, Xu Shiyue had already taken her back to her room.

As always, moonlight streamed into the room through the window, casting the shadows of osmanthus branches on the wall.

In the middle of the scene, Xu Shiyue, with her back to Lu Shizhen, took off her coat.

The flowing silk, shimmering with light, clung perfectly to its owner's body, without an ounce of excess.

Her straight shoulders lifted the thin straps, and her rounded shoulder blades were exposed to the air without any cover.

For a moment, the surrounding air seemed to stand still.

Lu Shizhen just watched, even forgetting to breathe.

The slender, delicate, yet somewhat naive girl in my memory was like a bouquet of flowers bursting into bloom in spring, suddenly unfolding her beauty.

Her long, cascading hair was no longer curly, but hung straight down her back. It was the hairstyle that most easily reveals a person's posture, yet it accentuated her slender and upright figure even more.

As her youthful naiveté faded, her graceful curves, flowing under the moonlight, resembled the rippling waters of spring, undulating in Lu Shizhen's gaze.

Lu Shizhen was lost in thought when Xu Shiyue's gaze unexpectedly fell upon her.

She casually tossed her long hair aside, her eyes crinkling slightly as she asked, "Does it look good?"

Thump!

Lu Shizhen's heart pounded in her chest. The embarrassment of being caught, combined with the figure that had just been in her sight, made her face burn.

Xu Shiyue, looking relaxed, walked over to Lu Shizhen.

Lu Shizhen seemed to know what Xu Shiyue wanted to do, and subconsciously stepped back.

However, she had nowhere to retreat.

My calves were partially blocked by the soft bed, and I fell backward.

The phrase "walking right into a trap" perfectly describes Lu Shizhen.

"No, can we..." Lu Shizhen's heart was beating faster and faster. This foreseeable future and the unsolvable feeling made her want to end this ambiguous relationship that hadn't even started yet.

But Xu Shiyue will not give Lu Shizhen such an opportunity again.

Because of her hesitation, she had already let this person leave her once, and she would never make the same mistake again.

Lu Shizhen was still struggling to negotiate and explain when Xu Shiyue's kiss landed on her lips.

Soft lips pressed against her neck, and her trembling throat stopped instantly.

Xu Shiyue avoided Lu Shizhen's lips as she tried to speak, as if giving her freedom, her gaze wandering only to her earlobe and neck.

But Lu Shizhen opened and closed her mouth again and again, and although no one had sealed it, it was as if she had lost her voice and could not utter a single syllable.

This was clearly not what Lu Shizhen had anticipated.

Compared to the violence just now, this kiss was much gentler.

Lu Shizhen had never experienced gentleness before.

There was no sudden storm, nor any plundering or sweeping action.

The delicate kisses were like the rain on a spring morning, cool yet containing the earth's tenderness towards all things.

People tend to relax in familiar environments, even to the point of surrendering and choosing not to resist.

Her long, smooth hair cascaded into Lu Shizhen's sight, its faint fragrance like that of fallen wood, enveloping her in its delicate aroma.

Her warm breath slowly seeped into her parched heart. She could feel Xu Shiyue sometimes close and sometimes far away, yet she never made a move against her.

But the ever-rolling flames only grew larger and hotter, and my heart was pounding wildly toward getting out of control.

Lu Shizhen didn't know what she was doing, why she wasn't resisting, or why she wasn't offering an explanation.

The shadow of the osmanthus branch swayed in her vision, and the lush leaves rustled in the night wind, as if reflecting the chaotic state of her mind at that moment.

"Then, Teacher Sixteen..."

Suddenly, Xu Shiyue stopped her attack and lowered her body slightly to look at the person in front of her.

The hand that had been hanging by her side slowly gripped Lu Shizhen's wrist, and the gentle voice was polite and refined: "Would you like me to be a little gentler from now on? Or perhaps you could be a little gentler?"
