Chapter 89

Chapter 89

After a while, just as Ichiro Tamura was about to help the man up, the man suddenly raised his head and exclaimed with delight, "I'm alright, I'm alright!"

The expressions of the others changed from solemn to ecstatic. The poisonous mushroom that had plagued them for months finally had a way to control them. For these desperate criminals, doing anything during the day was extremely inconvenient, but now they no longer had to calculate the time and find a place to hide.

Just as the group below were celebrating wildly, Tong Shu, who had been hiding in the tree for a long time, finally made a move. The people who had drunk the antidote were completely unconcerned in the darkness, but they did not expect that several pairs of eyes had been watching them from the shadows.

Wearing night vision goggles, Tong Shu could clearly see the situation below. Among so many people, only Tian Zhaozhao was brought with her hands tied; the rest were moving freely and busy with their own things, so it seemed they were all in cahoots.

Tong Shu watched as a man walked casually behind a tree to urinate, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger.

A flash of green light appeared, and the person slowly slid down the tree trunk. The movement was so small that it was almost negligible, and no one noticed that someone had been killed by Tong Shu in an instant.

"Boss, Kai went to the bathroom and hasn't come back yet. I'll go look for him." After a while, one of the guys who was on good terms with the other finally realized that his brother was missing, found Hao Jia, and greeted her.

Hao Jia was in a good mood, and hearing him call her that made her even more secretly pleased. These people were all Chinese; they had robbed and killed people together. Before Honma Haruo was alive, they looked down on her just like those Japanese. Now, she finally knew who would have the last laugh.

Hao Jia deliberately crossed her arms and sneered, "Lazy people have too much to do. Hurry up and go find it. There are still so many antidotes to carry. Don't even think about slacking off."

The man verbally agreed, but then rolled his eyes. That slut who climbed the social ladder by sleeping around dared to give them attitude!

The man knew which direction his brother went to the toilet, but unfortunately, it was too dark for him to see clearly. Tong Shu had been watching the man's movements from a distance, and just as he was about to kick the man's corpse and yell, he decisively pulled the trigger again.

Wang Jie was hiding very close to Tong Shu, and he saw both shots clearly. He was secretly shocked, knowing that his cousin was a very accurate shot, but he didn't expect her to be this accurate. Both of them were shot through the temples and died instantly without even being able to scream.

There weren't many people who came out this time, and the fact that the two hadn't returned for so long made the others who stayed behind start to feel strange. Hao Jia wasn't a patient person to begin with, and thinking about how respectful the man had been to her earlier, she felt that the two were deliberately stalling for time to make her lose face in front of Tamura Ichiro. She immediately became furious and shouted for the others to go out and find the two.

"Go if you want, we're not going. We can't understand what these Chinese people are saying." Tamura Ichiro and the two Japanese men next to him completely ignored Hao Jia's tantrums and sat down next to Lala Teng Juice, laughing nonchalantly.

"You!" Hao Jia was furious. She stared at the vine juice and refused to leave even a step. It was ridiculous. She had gone through so much trouble to find this stuff. If she left, Honma Haruo would definitely take the antidote and leave first. If she arrived late, she would get nothing.

"What are you all standing there for? Go and find him right now!" Hao Jia turned around and shouted at the remaining Chinese people.

Even if those people were unwilling, there was nothing they could do. They could only mutter curses under their breath as they scattered and searched, leaving Hao Jia and the other three to guard Tian Zhaozhao and continue to watch over the antidote.

This was the moment Tong Shu had been waiting for. The gun Wen Shaocheng had given her had a long range, made no sound, and was incredibly accurate. It was safe to say that once Tong Shu aimed at it, there was absolutely no chance of escape.

While locking onto lone individuals and determining their locations, Tong Shu fired steadily and ruthlessly, reaping their lives one shot after another.

"Tsk." Tamura Ichiro grew impatient. "What's going on? You bastards, what good are you Chinese people besides causing trouble?"

"This, this shouldn't be happening. So many people went out and none of them came back... Could something have happened?" Hao Jia was also starting to panic.

Thinking of the losses he had suffered at the hands of that elusive Chinese soldier, Tamura Ichiro's heart skipped a beat. He glanced at the pile of vine juice on the side, then at Tian Zhaozhao, whose hands were tied behind her back, and a sinister look appeared in his eyes.

He reached out and pulled Tian Zhaozhao over, pressing a utility knife straight against her throat: "Speak! Did you leak the information to that soldier? Was someone lying in ambush on us?"

Tian Zhaozhao couldn't understand what the Japanese man was saying, only that his sudden outburst terrified him, leaving him frozen in place. He screamed frantically, "What are you doing! I've already led you to the Lala Vine Juice, why are you suddenly trying to kill me! Don't you have any integrity! You're dishonest!...

Hearing Tamura Ichiro's words, Hao Jia began to panic. She kicked Tian Zhaozhao, yelling, "Shut up! I'm asking you! Did you collude with the military to ambush us?"

Tian Zhaozhao initially thought Tong Shu had been discovered, but upon hearing about the military, which he knew nothing about, he immediately became assertive: "What military! We haven't had any official organizations here for a long time, otherwise I wouldn't have built a base!"

Hao Jia translated his words, and Tamura Ichiro only sneered: "No matter who they're colluding with, let's go back first. Only if I return safely... Ah!!!"

Before Ichiro Tamura could finish speaking, a sharp pain suddenly shot through his wrist, which was holding the utility knife. His other hand had been shot last year and he still couldn't move it normally. At that moment, he was gripping his other hand with one hand and screaming at the top of his lungs. Hao Jia and the other two realized they were being attacked and immediately ran away in all directions without a care in the world, leaving Tian Zhaozhao behind.

Tian Zhaozhao had no idea what was happening. One second the Japanese man was muttering something in Japanese, and the next second he felt a wet liquid splash onto his face, and then the man started yelling and screaming.

Realizing this was a good opportunity to escape, Tian Zhaozhao immediately turned tail and ran away without a second thought.

Tamura Ichiro's only remaining hand was also crippled. Overwhelmed with pain and anger, he saw Tian Zhaozhao trying to run away, so he bared his yellow teeth and bit her shoulder.

"Ouch!!!" Tamura Ichiro bit down hard, making Tian Zhaozhao cry out in pain, "Sister Hua! Sister Hua, help me!" There were only a few people left now, and Tian Zhaozhao knew that Tong Shu had dealt with him enough. He stopped hiding and shouted for help into the dark forest.

Tamura Ichiro had been in China for a long time and could vaguely guess who he was asking for help from. Losing a hand was a small matter, but losing his life would be the real deal. He kicked Tian Zhaozhao hard in the back, stomped out the plastic flashlight, and dashed into the darkness.

"Brother Jie, go check on Zhao Zhao, I'm going to chase after that Japanese guy." Tong Shu and Wang Jie had already met up under the tree. The shot had just been fired not far from them. Tong Shu gave the instructions, and the two separated tacitly. Wang Jie went to check on Tian Zhao Zhao's situation, while Tong Shu chased after Tamura Ichiro in the direction he had fled.

No matter how good Tamura Ichiro's stamina was, he couldn't compare to Tong Shu, who was wearing night vision goggles. He dashed around in the woods, but in Tong Shu's eyes, he was like a headless fly, and Tong Shu locked onto him without much effort.

A bullet struck his thigh, and Tamura Ichiro could no longer run. He collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, trying his best to open his eyes wide to see who had ambushed him.

He had expected to see a tall soldier, but the footsteps made him think it might be a petite woman, which gave Tamura Ichiro a glimmer of hope.

"Hao Jia, is that you? Come save me!" Tamura Ichiro said weakly.

A light shone from ahead, and a face appeared in front of Tamura Ichiro. It was neither a man nor Hao Jia, as he had imagined. Tong Shu held her phone expressionlessly, the faint light from the screen illuminating her face, making even her beautiful features appear somewhat eerie.

"Hello, long time no see." A mechanical female voice spoke in Japanese from the phone. Tamura Ichiro was momentarily unsure whether to be surprised by the familiar face or by the fact that a phone still worked at this time.

"You...I...I've seen you before!" Tamura Ichiro's face turned even paler. He thought carefully, and in a flash, he remembered something. His other wrist also began to throb slightly. "You're that woman from back then..."

The translation software relayed Tamura Ichiro's words to Tong Shu verbatim. Tong Shu curled her lips into a smile, a smile devoid of any warmth.

“Oh, right.” Tong Shu carefully put the gun back in her pocket, then took out a dagger and ran it along Tamura Ichiro’s arm. “I thought I’d never be able to avenge this in my lifetime…”

"I never thought that heaven would have eyes and retribution would be so swift. You all delivered yourselves to me." Tong Shu sighed as she slowly stood up, stomping hard on Tamura Ichiro's injured wrist. He howled again, writhing on the ground.

"Was it this hand? Huh?! Did you touch my sister with this hand?" Tong Shu gritted her teeth, grinding her boot sole against her wrist. "Or this one? Hmm? Two filthy hands, damn it..."

Tears streamed down Tamura Ichiro's face as he mumbled and pleaded rapidly, "What are you saying? Let me go, please, I don't understand..."

Not satisfied, Tong Shu recalled a scene from deep within her memory that she didn't want to remember, and her gaze shifted to the area below Tamura Ichiro's abdomen: "Oh... the dirtiest part is here..."

By the moonlight, Ichiro Tamura saw Tong Shu's eyes and felt a chill run down his spine. He remembered everything. Even if he couldn't understand what Tong Shu meant, he could guess seven or eight parts of what was in her eyes. He was so scared that he trembled all over and crawled on the ground like a maggot, hoping that Tong Shu would let him go.

"What are you afraid of?" Tong Shu looked down at him and smiled slightly.
