Author's Closing Remarks

Another book has been completed. Thank you all for your support this past year.

Actually, according to the original plan, it should have been finished in July. Started in July and finished in July, so it would have been a complete story.

However, as I wrote, I realized that there were only so many stories I wanted to write, and I didn't want to add any more. So, after the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties, the story naturally came to an end.

As I've mentioned before, this book is an experimental work. I wanted to write about some background worldviews that I've always wanted to write about but haven't done before, so it's very immature. But I'm still very grateful for everyone's support.

Having written so many subplots, some of which I feel I wrote very well, such as the first volume, Dragon City Conquest. Although I am from Northeast China, I genuinely love the worldview of Hong Kong films. People of my generation almost all grew up watching Young and Dangerous and listening to Cantonese songs. The song "Wild Wolf Disco" perfectly encapsulates the Cantonese theme of Northeast China. But unfortunately, I didn't dare to delve too deeply into this subplot.

Some of them I felt were poorly written, such as the Great Zhou World, a high-martial arts setting that I'm best at, but I felt it was poorly written.

There are also some that I think I wrote very well, but others think they are not good, such as the Black Adam volume with the Cthulhu style. Of course, I did feel awkward writing it afterward, because it was the first time I wrote a Western fantasy background.

In short, I am still very satisfied with this book because it has shown me which genres I can and cannot handle.

However, I don't plan to release the new book for the time being, at least not before the Spring Festival this year. I plan to take a break for a while first.

As everyone knows, my health wasn't very good to begin with. After the pandemic, I clearly felt something was wrong with my body. My immunity decreased, and I had problems every few days. The most frequent absences I took for this book were sick leave.

Those few days with Yang were especially unbearable; it felt like I was going to die. I almost even wrote down my will.

Moreover, he often suffers from insomnia afterward, frequently unable to sleep all night. He can hear his own heart pounding as he lies in bed, but his heart rate is still normal.

My blood pressure was already high, and now the insomnia has made it even worse.

So, my life is more important, so I need to take advantage of this rest time to exercise more and get my body in shape.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone again for your support. I wish all my readers good health and a bright future!
