Chapter 522 The Clues Are Broken

After listening to Master Morton's explanation of the legend of the lost city of Kabbalah, Yang Cheng rubbed his furrowed brows.

Although there are now clues, these clues have been interrupted.

Kabbalah is called the Lost City because it only exists in legends and has been gone for countless years.

Over the years, many adventurers must have tried to find this place but failed, which shows how difficult it is.

"The monsters Jerome summoned were summoned from these lost cities, so can we go back and enter these places?"

Master Morton shook his head and said, "Absolutely impossible. These summoning arrays are one-way. Simply put, they must know our coordinates to be able to get here through the array."

It's like summoning an evil god. The evil god knows our coordinates, but how could we possibly know the evil god's coordinates?

Unless there is some other being with extraordinary power there that beckons us in return, we cannot enter.

"So I'm destined never to find this place?"

Master Morton shook his head and said, "Of course not, it's just very difficult."

Our world contains many secret realms, and the lost city of Kabbalah is one of them.

The great war between the Creator and the Great Old Ones and the Outer Gods shook the world.

You can imagine the world we live in as a giant bubble, which, after being vibrated, produces countless smaller bubbles.

These tiny bubbles are the secret realms, which were originally part of the world, but were separated due to the vibrations.

These secret realms were originally part of our world, so as long as you find the right entrance, it's quite easy to enter them.

Many adventurers are also searching for those legendary secret realms. I even entered one of them when I was part of an adventurer's team in my early years.

But the Lost City of Kabbalah is so famous that the difficulty of finding it is self-evident.

Yang Cheng nodded, feeling that things were a little tricky.

We have some clues, but unfortunately, finding this place is too difficult.

Having no clue for the time being, Yang Cheng stopped thinking about it and instead asked about the cherubim, the gods of wisdom.

He told Morton about Cherub's situation, and Morton was shocked after hearing it.

Although he and Yang Cheng had joined forces to seal away an evil god, it was only a projection of that evil god.

Who would have thought that Yang Cheng would actually force back a real god!

“Master Morton, do you know the origin of the cherubim, the god of wisdom?”

Adam, who could severely injure him, must have been an even more powerful being—a Great Old One or an Outer God?

After his initial shock, Master Morton stroked his beard and frowned, saying, "I've never heard of the name Adam before."

Moreover, I have never heard of the name of this god of wisdom, the cherubim, and the appearance of the other party you described is not that of an evil god as I know it.

You should know that those evil gods always give themselves a seemingly impressive title.

For example, Heatherville's God of Truth, Gordon's God of Wishes, and so on.

The word "wisdom" is actually quite broad, and many evil gods have the word "wisdom" in their names.

But I have never heard of a god who is entirely named after wisdom.

This cherubim may have been severely injured by a powerful being in the distant past, which is why no records of it have survived.

Hearing Morton say this, Yang Cheng was even more surprised.

How could such a powerful deity not have left its name?

In terms of strength, Cherubim is simply not on the same level as Heatherville and Gordon.

Master Morton paused, then suddenly lowered his voice and said, "But listening to you talk about Wood's abilities and the power attributes of this Cherubim, I suddenly feel that it is somewhat like an existence."

After a moment of silence, Master Morton said, "Cherub's power attributes are too similar to those of the God of Light, and Wood's power is also very similar to those of the Judgment Knights of the Church of Light."

That's quite disrespectful. The God of Light is the only main god on the continent. How could an evil god and the head of criminals in the dungeon possibly have similar power to her?

So Master Morton quickly added, "Of course, it's just similar. Many evil gods will pretend to imitate the power of light. Don't tell anyone else that."

Yang Cheng nodded.

But he knew in his heart that the cherubim's power was not something that could be faked.

After chatting for a while longer, Yang Cheng prepared to leave.

Upon exiting the door and arriving at the main hall of the Alchemist's Guild, one finds a commotion outside, with people carrying things out.

They were all materials and instruments used in alchemy, and they were all very precious, so they were moved with great care.

Master Morton pulled aside a familiar alchemist and asked, "What's going on? Is someone moving out?"

The Alchemists' Guild grants individuals the right to have their own independent laboratory once they reach the level of a high-ranking alchemist. These items are all located within the laboratory, indicating that someone is clearly moving them out.

The alchemist curled his lip and said with a slightly sour tone, "It's that guy Hohenheim. He's usually so quiet, but he actually already contacted a sugar daddy to cover all his experimental expenses. Of course, he's moving out to set up his own independent laboratory now."

Alchemy is an expensive profession; in addition to having the skills, it also requires a large amount of money.

Therefore, alchemists actually collaborated with many powerful figures, but such collaborations were only on a single thing.
