Chapter Six: Life and death are preordained, wealth and honor are determined by fate.

Yang Sheng followed his underling into the inner hall of the brothel. Looking at the unswept teacup shards on the ground and the somber atmosphere, Yang Sheng immediately felt a sense of unease.

"Old Ding, Uncle Qiang, Uncle Wen, Brother Wei."

After greeting everyone, the head of the group, Uncle Dingchang, nodded slightly and said, "Yang Sheng, you have only been a member of Hong Sheng Lian for a few months, but since you have held a formal initiation ceremony, you are considered a disciple of Hong Sheng Lian."

Yang Sheng nodded and said, "Once you join the gang, you are a member of the gang. So I am naturally considered a disciple of Hong Shenglian."

Uncle Chang suddenly sighed: "Luo Rong just called and asked me for your person. If I don't hand you over, he'll wipe out my Hong Sheng Lian's gang. It's just too much!"

You yourself said that as long as you join my Hong Sheng Lian, you are a disciple of Hong Sheng Lian. How could I, as the head of the organization, bear to hand over my disciple?

Di Wei snorted and said, "Boss, you're not just Yang Sheng's boss, you're the boss of the entire Hong Sheng Lian! Thousands of underlings work and eat under your wing."

Now you've offended Luo Rong for Yang Sheng's sake, and my Hong Shenglian's place is being swept away. What are we supposed to do?

Yang Sheng acts recklessly because he has some martial arts skills. It's one thing for you to defeat Ruan Feng, but you even went so far as to kill him. Now that you're in trouble, you want the gang to clean up your mess?

"You'll have to deal with the trouble you caused yourself. What kind of behavior is it to drag the gang into it?"

Uncle Wen coughed and said, "You can't say that. My little brother has gotten into trouble, so as the boss, I have to step up."

You are a member of our Hong Sheng Lian, and you represent Hong Sheng Lian in the Dragon City Championship. How can we, Hong Sheng Lian, easily hand you over?

Yang Sheng, don't worry, there's still a chance for things to turn around.

Our Hung Shing Lian is, after all, one of the oldest triad societies in Hong Kong, a genuine direct descendant of the Hung Society, and our leader has a good relationship with Chai Hongtu, the previous leader of the British Associated Press.

"As long as you go to Luo Rong to apologize, have a drink to reconcile, and adopt a humble attitude, Luo Rong should let you off the hook for the sake of the relationship between the two sides."

Yang Sheng watched the three men's performance with a cold eye, a sneer running through his mind.

Uncle Chang was playing the good cop there, making it sound like he was the one who was compromising and would rather go to war with Luo Rong than hand over himself.

Diwei, on the other hand, played the bad cop, pushing all the responsibility onto himself and insisting that he hand himself over to Luo Rong.

Uncle Wen, on the other hand, tried to smooth things over by coming up with a solution that seemed feasible but was actually utterly nonsensical.

If the other 49ers were fooled by their tricks, they would definitely be moved by Uncle Chang's loyalty first.

Then he became angry that Diwei was pushing all the blame onto him, and even doubted whether he had really caused a big problem for the gang, and fell into self-blame.

When he finally heard Uncle Wen's idea, he must have felt that it was the last hope and a way out. Then, with the mindset of bearing humiliation and preserving the gang, he took the initiative to go to Luo Rong to apologize.

As for the outcome, there's only one: Luo Rong will drag him to the high seas and sink him.

Luo Ronglian didn't even care about Chai Jiu, the head of the British Associated Press, so how could he possibly care about the slight face of a dead man from the previous generation?

In this way, it wouldn't be Hong Shenglian handing over his underlings on his own initiative, but rather Yang Sheng taking the initiative to go to Luo Rong in order to avoid causing trouble for the gang, and Hong Shenglian could also avoid losing face.

Yang Sheng coldly observed the four people present, constantly calculating in his mind.

The reputations of the three elders of Hong Shenglian and Di Wei are not very good.

Right now, they are still concerned about their reputation and don't want to hand themselves over to Luo Rong directly, so they are putting on an act here to fool themselves.

If you don't fall for it, then the deception can easily turn into coercion.

Yang Sheng suddenly smiled and said:

"Old Ding, I think Wei-ge is right. This is indeed the trouble I caused for the gang."

"I should solve my own problems; there's absolutely no reason for the club to clean up my mess."

Upon hearing Yang Sheng's words, Uncle Chang and the others were all taken aback.

Has this kid lost his mind? Can't he tell right from wrong?

Yang Sheng's unconventional approach left Uncle Chang and the others speechless.

Yang Sheng said in a deep voice: "Everyone signed a life-or-death agreement during the Dragon City Championship."

Victory or defeat depends on man, life or death is in the hands of fate!

It's Luo Rong who can't accept defeat and doesn't follow the rules. Why should I, Hong Shenglian, hand him over? Why should I, Yang Sheng, bow down and submit to him?

Luo Rong wanted to raid my Hong Sheng Lian's place, so I raided Luo Rong's place first! I'll send him down to sell salted eggs!

The people present were stunned for a few seconds. Di Wei was the first to sneer, "Are you crazy? What do you think you can use to sweep Luo Rong's territory?"

Luo Rong is the most powerful boss in the British Associated Press. He owns a huge, lucrative territory in Yau Tsim Mong and has three to four thousand underlings, more than my Hung Shing Lian!

You only killed one Vietnamese tiger, Nguyen Phong; he also had Yao Hui, one of the three tigers of the Associated Press, known as the "Nanshan Tiger"!

Yang Sheng squinted and said, "It's precisely because no one expected me to raid Luo Rong's place that I had the opportunity to do so!"

He does have three or four thousand men under his command, but these three or four thousand men are all guarding various venues in Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Mong Kok. How many of them actually stay by his side?

If I can kill Nguyen Phuong, the Vietnamese tiger, on the ring, then I can certainly kill Yao Hui, the Nam Son tiger!

"Old Ding, we're in the right this time, so it's only right that we upset Luo Rong!"

A traitor actually said he wanted to wipe out Luo Rong, the strongest leader of the British Associated Press. This seemingly ridiculous statement actually sounded somewhat feasible.

Uncle Wen even forgot to refute, but just frowned and said, "Even if you can clear Luo Rong's place, what will you do about the British Associated Press's retaliation?"

Yang Sheng calmly said, "Luo Rong is arrogant and domineering because he relies on his power. He has long since fallen out with Chai Jiu, the head of the British Associated Press."
