"According to seniority, I should call you uncles."
I called you "uncle," but you can't be so ungrateful.
"I already promised Boss Sun that I'd get the land by July. You're dragging your feet and not signing the contract; aren't you just slapping me, Liu Donghong, in the face?"
Yang Sheng's second uncle and another middle-aged man fell to the ground, their heads bleeding. A crowd of villagers watched the spectacle, but no one dared to say anything.
A burly man in his thirties, with a buzz cut, carrying a handbag, wearing a gold chain, and smoking a cigarette, stared at the two men with a sinister look on his face.
He was Liu Donghong, much older than Yang Shengda and others, and had gone to the city to fool around in his younger years.
Later, he somehow made a small fortune by contracting a river in the village to dig sand. He became arrogant and domineering, and no one dared to mess with him.
Yang Sheng's second aunt helped her second uncle up and cried loudly, "You want to take away all our land for just a few thousand yuan? How are we supposed to live?!"
Liu Donghong said impatiently, "I don't care how you live. You bunch of farmers are all talk and no action. How much money can you make from farming?"
I only have one question for you all today: are you going to sign this contract or not?
Liu Donghong waved his hand, and several of his thugs surrounded him.
This land acquisition wasn't for his own benefit, but because his boss in the city, Sun Jing, wanted to build a factory in the village, which had to be next to a water source.
It just so happens that the land owned by Yang Sheng's second uncle and Da Gang's father was near the water source, so it caught Liu Donghong's eye.
In fact, Liu Donghong could have acquired it at the market price, since he wasn't the one receiving the money.
But Liu Donghong wanted to show off his prestige in the village to Boss Sun, so he deliberately lowered the price.
Who would have thought that these two old guys would really not give him any face and even dare to yell at him?
Just then, the villagers began to murmur and made way for Yang Sheng and his two companions to enter.
"Liu Donghong! You dare touch my father?! I'll fight you to the death today!"
When Da Gang saw his father's miserable state, his eyes immediately turned red. He wanted to rush out, but Yang Sheng stopped him with one hand.
Liu Donghong said disdainfully, "Hey Da Gang, you're not a kid anymore, how can you still be so childish?"
"You're always talking about risking everything, but do you even have the ability to do it?"
In Liu Donghong's eyes, Da Gang was just a petty hoodlum, now a pathetic office worker, nothing special.
However, when he glanced at Yang Sheng next to Da Gang, he suddenly paused, and his expression changed slightly.
He knew Yang Sheng.
The one who got a hole in his leg was one of his cousins.
After hearing about this incident, Liu Donghong still wanted to avenge his cousin.
However, after witnessing firsthand what Yang Sheng, who was then a middle school student, had done, Liu Donghong abandoned the idea.
This guy is ruthless and vicious. A dog that bites doesn't bark, so it's best not to mess with him.
Liu Donghong forced a smile: "Shengzi, when did you get back?"
It's not that I'm bullying people today; it's that these two old guys don't know what's good for them.
I heard that your second uncle secretly sold your dad's house. That's really inhuman.
"Brother, I've finally gotten revenge for you today."
Yang Sheng didn't say anything, just looked at him calmly, and Liu Donghong actually felt a little scared.
However, Liu Donghong suddenly remembered that he was no longer the petty hoodlum he used to be.
He's the famous Liu Erge, with dozens of brothers under his command. Why would he be afraid of this kid?
Liu Donghong snorted coldly: "Shengzi, are you not going to give your brother this face today?"
With a wave of his hand, the thugs got out of the car and surrounded Yang Sheng.
But Yang Sheng merely glanced at those people, and wherever his gaze fell, the thugs instinctively stopped in their tracks.
Momentum is a difficult thing to define, but it is a real thing.
Yang Sheng single-handedly wiped out the entire Lin family, who held sway over Longhua City. He fought his way through the fierce competition in Longcheng and was also the leader of a gang.
The thugs under Liu Donghong's command are not even as good as those low-level gangsters.
Under Yang Sheng's gaze, they truly felt his imposing aura and dared not make a move.
Just as Liu Donghong was about to unleash a torrent of abuse in a fit of rage, a convoy of cars slowly drove up and parted the crowd.
A bodyguard stepped out of the middle Alphard, opened the door, and a middle-aged man in a white suit leaned out, frowning as he said:
"Liu Donghong, I asked you to acquire the land, why did you make such a big fuss?"
"If I hadn't suddenly decided to come and check the foundation today, I wouldn't have known you couldn't even handle such a small thing!"
Liu Donghong bowed and scraped, his face full of humility: "Boss, if you give me a day... no! Half a day, I can get it all done."
Yang Sheng walked over at this moment, looked directly at Sun Jing, and said calmly, "You're Liu Donghong's boss? Want to talk?"
If someone else suddenly came up to him and said that, Sun Jing wouldn't even bother to acknowledge it.
Sun Jing is a big shot in the city, so why would anyone, including nobody, dare to talk to him?
However, the aura emanating from Yang Sheng was somewhat unfathomable to Sun Jing.
After thinking for a moment, Sun Jing said calmly, "Get in the car."
Yang Sheng got into the Alphard and sat opposite Sun Jing. Sun Jing frowned and asked, "Who are you? What do you want?"
Yang Sheng found a comfortable position and leaned back in the chair, looking more like the master than Sun Jing.
