Chapter Ten, The Commonwealth Press, Prince Nine

After leaving Fulong Building, Yang Sheng found a public toilet to wash the blood off his hands. As if nothing had happened, he carried the severed head on his back and hailed a taxi to the branch of the British Association in the New Territories.

The British Associated Press's headquarters was quite peculiar; it was located inside a restaurant.

It is said that this Rong Sheng Restaurant was opened by Chai Hongtu when he first came to Hong Kong with his life savings.

However, from patrol officers to street thugs, everyone came to harass him, making his business extremely poor.

After Chai Hongtu killed a thug who came to collect protection money in a fit of rage, he finally gave up on the restaurant and started anew with the Hongmen banner, opening incense halls and engaging in illicit activities.

Although a society was established, Rong Sheng Restaurant was never closed; instead, it was used as a branch of the British Society.

Do business at the front door and open a shop at the back door, so you can do both without any problems.

Ironically, ever since Chai Hongtu started using the name of the British Associated Press, no one has dared to come and collect protection money anymore.

Yang Sheng arrived at the back gate of the British Associated Press. The two guards, dressed in black long gowns, stood ramrod straight, giving off a retro vibe.

“Hong Shenglian and Yang Sheng request an audience with Chai Jiu, the head of the British Associated Press.”

When the gatekeepers heard the name Yang Sheng, they were taken aback for a moment, and then their faces all showed hostility.

The events of the Dragon City Championship a few hours ago have spread to almost every tabloid in Hong Kong.

The killing of Nguyen Phuong, one of the three tigers of the British Associated Press, by a member of the Hong Sheng Lian gang, is definitely big news.

This guy actually dares to come to the Commonwealth Press now, is he looking for death?

However, the gatekeeper was actually quite well-behaved.

He simply said coldly, "Wait."

A moment later, one of the henchmen came out and said, "Go in, Ninth Brother is waiting for you inside."

Entering the Rong Sheng Restaurant, Yang Sheng followed the underling through a maze of left and right turns into an office, where he finally saw Chai Jiu, the current head of the British Commons Society, whom some of its leaders called "Prince Nine".

Chai Jiu is very young, looking to be only in his thirties, not even forty.

Wearing a white shirt and black trousers, with gold-rimmed glasses, he had a refined and scholarly appearance, looking more like a high school teacher than a gangster boss.

Chai Jiu leaned back in the boss's chair, crossed his hands on his lower abdomen, and looked Yang Sheng up and down a few times with a scrutinizing gaze. He asked curiously, "Do you know what you're doing?"

"You just killed one of my Associated Press's double-crown thugs and you dare show your face in front of me? Aren't you afraid I'll throw you into the high seas and let you sink?"

Yang Sheng said without changing his expression, "Brother Chai Jiu is wrong. I killed a double-flower red stick under Luo Rong's command, not a double-flower red stick of the British Associated Press."

Chai Jiu raised an eyebrow: "Is there a difference?"

Yang Sheng chuckled and said, "There is a big difference."

Let's not beat around the bush. I've come today to give you a small gift, Brother Chai Jiu.

As he spoke, Yang Sheng took out a plastic bag from his backpack. The moment he opened it, he felt two auras lock onto him.

But Yang Sheng seemed oblivious, and still opened the plastic bag, revealing Luo Rong's bloodied and mangled head. Instantly, the smell of blood filled the entire office.

"Bang!"

The hidden doors on both sides of the office were pushed open, and two gunmen simultaneously pointed their guns at Yang Sheng's head.

Chai Jiu looked at Luo Rong's severed head, his expression showing neither surprise nor anger, but rather a hint of astonishment.

"You actually killed Luo Rong? Was it those three old guys from Hong Sheng Lian who did it?"

Yang Sheng shook his head and said 'honestly', "No, there are only six of us including me."

If I fail to kill Luo Rong tonight, Hong Shenglian will expel all six of us from their ranks the next day.

Chai Jiu said with a half-smile, "I knew it. Those three old guys don't have that kind of guts."

Six people dared to behead Luo Rong? Kid, you've got some nerve!

"In just one day, one of my British Associated Press's officers and two double-crown members died at your hands. Even if my British Associated Press killed you ten times, it still wouldn't be enough to satisfy our hatred!"

Despite saying that, Chai Jiu waved his hand, signaling the gunmen on both sides to retreat.

Yang Sheng shook his head and said, "Brother Chai Jiu, don't scare me. What I did could indeed make the British Society kill me ten times over, but it would save you a lot of effort."

Luo Rong is arrogant and domineering. As the head of the Commonwealth of Nations, he does not respect the leader and even intends to split the Commonwealth of Nations. He is simply courting his own destruction.

I'm sure even if I don't make a move, Brother Chai, you're going to take action against Luo Rong soon.

But it's better for me to take action than for you, Brother Chai Jiu, to do it. After all, it's not nice to see fellow disciples killing each other.

So Luo Rong's head is just a small gift to you, Brother Chai Jiu. Even if I didn't kill him, he wouldn't live much longer.

A look of surprise appeared behind Chai Jiu's gold-rimmed glasses: "You can find out about the grudge between Luo Rong and me with a little inquiry. It's not surprising."

But how do you know I'm about to deal with Luo Rong, and that it will definitely be me alive and Luo Rong dead?

"Because Luo Rong underestimated Brother Chai Jiu, people from other gangs also underestimated Brother Chai Jiu."

Yang Sheng said in a deep voice: "Your father, Chai Longtou, was a man of great talent and ambition. He built the British Association from scratch. He should have known what the consequences would be if he put his incompetent son in the position of head of the association."

That's not helping him, it's actually harming him.

But the fact that Chai Longtou still chose to appoint Chai Jiuge as the head of the organization is enough to prove that Chai Jiuge is capable of supporting the entire British Associated Press.

Previously, during the Dragon City Championship, Luo Rong left without saying hello to Brother Chai Jiu, his arrogant and domineering attitude was immediately apparent, but Brother Chai Jiu did not show any anger.
