Chapter 69 Replay

Song Qingmo stared at Mu Hengshi, who remained silent for a long time. Mu Hengshi noticed Song Qingmo's gaze, and a struggle flashed across his face. The tips of his ears turned red, and his timid look made Song Qingmo mistakenly think that this guy was shy.

Song Qingmo thought, is this guy having a seizure? He couldn't be kind to the young man in front of him. Even if he had to act, he didn't want to pretend to be stupid in his previous life before the time came.

He immediately ordered him to leave, "You have nothing to say, so I also wish you a speedy recovery. If you are fine, you can go back first." Hearing this, Mu Henshi's eyes dimmed for a moment, and then recovered.

He never had the courage to ask Song Qingmo if he had a crush on him, why he didn't come to the party, or why he saved him when he was taking Chinese medicine, but handed him over to someone he had never met.

Mu Hengshi secretly laughed at himself in his heart. What happened? When facing Song Qingmo, it seemed that he was so comfortable with his training, but here, he was like a decoration, completely surrendering.

Mu Hengshi remained seated on the sofa, showing no sign of leaving. Seeing that something was amiss, Song Qingmo stopped paying attention. He glanced at his parents, who were watching from the French window, and shrugged, indicating that he had done his best to be a good host and that it was the man who had refused to leave. He then left the house.

The atmosphere in the house that Mu Hengshi had been lingering for disappeared. He stood up, straightened his clothes, and walked out to chase after him. Looking at Mu Hengshi who was getting closer and closer and couldn't be shaken off, Song Qingmo was very surprised. What was wrong with this man?

In his past and present lives, Song Qingmo had never encountered such a situation. For a moment, he didn't know what to do with Mu Hengshi. After Mu Hengshi followed him and circled the garden, Song Qingmo couldn't help it. He simply didn't move and sat on the swing, waiting for his next move.

Mu Hengshi saw that Song Qingmo was no longer hiding from him, and a hint of joy flashed across his face. He walked behind the swing, wanting to help Song Qingmo push it. His mind urged him to do so. It was as if he was reminiscing and making amends, cherishing such a time.

The sour feeling in his heart grew bigger and bigger. Mu Hengshi's eyes were a little red and his nose was slightly sore. He felt a voice deep in his soul, which was full of guilt and resonated with his current self.

Song Qingmo had originally intended to hang out here with Mu Hengshi, but he didn't expect that man to actually push him and swing him up. Song Qingmo was frightened and quickly grabbed the rope to steady himself. He wanted to curse, "What's wrong with you? Why did you suddenly push me? Do you want to kill me now?"

Mu Hengshi had been paying attention to Song Qingmo's movements. When he saw that he almost fell down, he quickly withdrew his hand from the swing and ran forward anxiously, trying to catch Song Qingmo. After Song Qingmo steadied himself, he glared at him.

"Song Qingmo, are you okay? I'm sorry, don't be angry, I didn't control the strength well." Mu Hengshi's face was full of heartache and guilt, and she looked at him with her peach blossom eyes waving her long eyelashes, blushing.

When Song Qingmo saw Mu Heng's sudden change in demeanor, he turned his head away and said nothing, but the veins in his hand, gripping the rope with increased force, became prominent. He didn't understand. This man was clearly going to be so evil later, so he must be no good now. Why was he pretending to be a good person? He wouldn't be fooled again.

"I'm fine. You've stayed here for so long today. Aunt Mu and the others must be worried. You should go back soon. I see that your hand is still injured. Don't come out. Take good care of it." Song Qingmo looked at the wound on Mu Heng's hand. Because of the nervousness and excessive movement, the wound was torn and some blood was left, and red spots bloomed on the white bandage.

Mu Hengshi smiled and said softly, "I'm fine, I just want to...". Mu Hengshi was ashamed to say the rest of the words. His relationship with Song Qingmo has been lukewarm over the past few years, and his attitude has been even worse. Suddenly saying such words, Mu Hengshi felt a little embarrassed.

Song Qingmo was puzzled as to why he stopped talking mid-sentence. "What are you thinking about?" Mu Hengshi said nothing, leaving only a single sentence, "See you tomorrow," before running off. Song Qingmo made faces behind him, secretly cursing in his heart: What the hell are we meeting tomorrow? He wished Mu Hengshi would stay away from him. However, Song Qingmo thought about how harmonious they had been chatting just now, and how there was no bitterness or hatred as before. It was... quite outrageous.

When Mu Heng walked out of the Song residence, he had been thinking about one question. He figured it out and knew that he would definitely not get engaged. No one could influence his marriage. Moreover, now that he knew that he liked Song Qingmo, it was even more impossible for him to be with Su Moxue.

After making up his mind, Mu Hengshi walked towards Mu's house and decided to talk to his parents about it. They would get married and cancel the marriage. After getting married, they could agree to the conditions they proposed.

Just like in their previous life, when Mu Hengshi revealed his decision, they were furious. The marriage had just been decided, and now they, the Mu family, were breaking off the engagement. How would they be regarded in the Su family's eyes? Mu's father looked at Mu Hengshi with a look of disappointment. "Hengshi, do you know how important this marriage is to us? The Su family is currently at its peak of development. If we marry into the Su family, the benefits we will gain will be no less. I thought you would understand these principles after all these years of your mother's teachings, but now you are only acting on your emotions."

Mu Hengshi stared at his parents, who were full of reproach for him. He had always strived to be a worthy successor to the Mu family. At just 16, he was already being arranged to participate in various competitions. He was already being praised by those in the industry, often as someone who was considered a "child of another family." He even found time to study after school. How to navigate the business world?

But it was him, who had worked so hard for so many years to learn Wei Ming, and in their eyes, his marriage had ended up like this. He knew that he had to pay a price to enjoy the power and wealth of this family, but he had the ability to make up for the cost with other things. Why did they force him to do this?
