Chapter 419 I Never Lie
Although Haiyang City is prosperous, it is not very big. In less than an hour, their carriage was out of the city.
Motu was sitting outside driving the car, while Su Ying and Queque were sitting in the car.
"Sister, where are we going?"
"Where does Queque want to go?"
"Wherever my brothers and sisters go, Que Que will go."
Su Ying rubbed the little guy's head and said, "Okay."
There were also many horse-drawn carriages traveling outside the city, most of which were cargo carriages going to Haiyang City to do business.
Su Ying took out the map she bought at the bookstore and drew a line on it with a charcoal pencil. This line was the shortest distance from Jin State to Chu State. But even so, she still had to cross most of Jin State to leave the country from the north.
"Do you want to take a rest at noon?" Motu's voice came from outside the carriage.
Su Ying didn't need to rest, but she was afraid that Queque couldn't bear it, so she signaled to Motu to find a place to have lunch.
Near noon, Motu found a place to park the car and took Queque down.
"Take a break first." Motu took out the buns he bought in the morning from his bag and handed them to the two of them.
Su Ying took the bun and took a bite, but her eyes were always on the surrounding situation.
"Sister, I, I feel a little uncomfortable in my stomach."
Su Ying turned around and saw Queque’s little face was flushed red.
"Sister will take you to relieve yourself."
Queque nodded and followed Su Ying towards the forest behind.
Su Ying took her to a tree and said, "Go ahead. I'll be watching over you."
"good."
Su Ying picked up a candy and was about to put it into her mouth when she felt a murderous aura coming towards her.
Her pupils sank and she pulled out the dagger from her waist and flew towards the source of the breath.
"Bang"
The sound of sharp weapons colliding rang out in the air, scaring Queque so much that she screamed and quickly pulled up her pants and ran to Su Ying.
Su Ying protected her behind her and paid attention to the surrounding situation.
Two green figures descended from the sky and came towards them.
Su Ying looked at them coldly, "Who are you?"
The other party replied coldly: "Red Devil Faction."
Su Ying frowned. How could the Red Devil find her so accurately? Wasn't this force a little too powerful?
"Just the two of you?"
"The Red Devil wants you to die at three o'clock, and the King of Hell dare not keep you until five o'clock."
Motu, who rushed over, instantly turned ferocious when he saw the Red Devil's men.
"Oh? Then before I die, can I know who paid for my life?"
The killer sneered, "Don't you know who you can offend and who you can't offend in Haiyang City? Prepare to die!"
Su Ying narrowed her eyes slightly. The people from Haiyang City were different from her previous employers. It seemed that the Red Devil's business scope was quite wide, and it even had an office in Jin State.
Su Ying threw away the electric baton in her hand and started fighting with the two killers.
The killer originally thought that Su Ying was a woman with some martial arts skills, but he didn't expect her to be so cruel.
Su Ying swung the electric baton in her hand and hit the two men hard.
"ah!"
The two killers were electrocuted so hard that they were trembling all over and had no power to fight back.
Su Ying retracted the electric baton and kicked them, and the two of them fell to the ground like mud.
Before she could make the next move, Motu suddenly appeared and removed their jaws.
The two men looked up, and the moment they saw Motu, their eyes widened in shock. They wanted to say something, but their jaw had been removed and they couldn't say anything.
Su Ying glanced at Mo Tu and saw that he was full of anger. She thought he was angered by these two people. "Keep him alive. I want to know where the lair of this red devil is."
Motu looked up in surprise, "You have a grudge against the Red Devil? I mean, have you had contact before today?"
Su Ying curled her lips but was not smiling, "There is some unresolved grudge."
Mo Tu frowned and put Queque in Su Ying's hand, "It's too conspicuous to bring these two people with us. Why don't we find a place to stay outside tonight?"
Su Ying nodded.
Motu walked up to the two men, gave them a warning glare, then found some rattan, tied them up and threw them into the carriage.
They were now at least fifty miles away from the next city and would definitely not be able to reach it tonight. Motu continued to drive forward, and when it was getting dark, he turned the car and arrived in front of a dilapidated temple.
The carriage stopped, Su Ying got off holding Queque, looked at the dilapidated temple in front of her and then glanced at Motu.
Motu said: "Let's stay here tonight."
"kindness."
In order not to scare Queque, Motu took the two killers directly to the back of the ruined temple, and Su Ying took Queque to sit in front of the dilapidated Buddha statue.
Su Ying looked around and picked up some broken wood to start a fire.
After the fire started, Su Ying took out some dry food, sliced the buns with a dagger, and roasted them on the fire. When the buns became crispy, she gave them to Que Que, "Eat something first. We'll sleep in the temple tonight. I'll take you to eat something delicious when we get to the city tomorrow."
Queque took the dry food obediently and nodded, "Thank you, sister."
Motu came back after Su Ying had baked the buns. It was pitch black all around as the moon had not come out yet. He came with the darkness, like a demon lurking in the darkness.
Only after being illuminated by the orange light did he regain his previous gentle expression.
"Brother, come and eat some dry food."
Motu smiled and walked to Queque, sat down next to her, and took the steamed bun from her hand, "Queque, eat more."
Su Ying finished her steamed bun, drank some water, then stood up and walked towards the back of the ruined temple.
Motu glanced at her and said, "Where are you going?"
"Ask."
"Don't ask, I killed him."
Su Ying's face darkened, and there was anger in her eyes, "I said it will be useful if you keep it."
Motu looked at her angry expression with a hurt look in his eyes. "I have asked everything you want to know. The Red Devil's lair is in the capital of Jin State, Duocheng. If you want to destroy his lair, you have to go to Duocheng."
Su Ying narrowed her eyes slightly, questioning openly, "How can I be sure what you said is true or not?"
Motu smiled innocently and charmingly, "If it's fake, just kill me."
Su Ying looked at him solemnly, "Motu, you'd better tell the truth."
Motu suddenly came closer, looking resentful, "If I lied to you, would you really be willing to take my life?"
Su Ying glanced at Queque, who was looking surprised and uneasy, and finally resisted the urge to strangle him, "I never lie."
A dark look flashed across Motu's eyes and he smiled: "Don't worry, I will never lie to you."
Su Ying still went to the back of the ruined temple to take a look, but did not find the bodies of the two people. She frowned, it seemed that Motu had more and more secrets.
To go to Duocheng, they would have to change their route, but fortunately, compared to the border of Chu State, the distance to Duocheng was much shorter.
In the darkness, two staggering figures quickly left from behind the ruined temple. They never thought that Motu not only did not die, but also came back alive!
"Quick, tell the leader that Motu is back alive!"
