Two days have passed in the blink of an eye.
Jiang Si woke up yawning, rubbed her eyes, climbed out of her sleeping bag, and stretched: "Little Wei Chi, what time is it?"
Wei Chi rushed over: "What time is it? It's 3 pm now. You've been sleeping for two days."
Jiang Si paused in her stretching, fully awake, and pointed at herself: "I've slept for two days?"
Wei Chi nodded repeatedly, like a chicken pecking at rice: "That's right, you've been asleep for two days. If you weren't still breathing, I would have thought you were dead."
She fell asleep two days ago and hasn't woken up since. She's covered in green willow smoke, and whoever enters the tent and touches her gets puffed up by the willow smoke.
The idol was also slapped twice, and the back of his hand was bruised.
"You're the one who's dead." Jiang Si instantly pulled out toiletries from her spatial storage, brushed her teeth as quickly as possible, and without washing her face, looked around. Not seeing her cheap husband, she asked, "Where are His Highness and the others?"
Wei Chi said angrily, "You still have the nerve to ask about my idol? In order to give you a comfortable environment to sleep in and not be disturbed by others, my idol led his people to clear out the military trainees and alien beasts within a 10-kilometer radius of this place."
My cheap husband is actually quite loyal.
Jiang Si said "Oh," and just as she was packing up the tent on the ground and putting it into her spatial storage, she heard He Yan call out to her in a pitiful voice, "Little cutie, you're awake! I thought you were dead. I was so worried about you."
That's incredibly rude.
Jiang Si looked in the direction of the sound and saw He Yan sitting under a tree with a black chain around his neck, barefoot, wearing baggy pants, his lips cracked and his face peeling.
Such a handsome, delicate young man, in just two short days, was like a flower that had been trampled and ruined, blooming in its final, desolate state.
"What's wrong with you?" Jiang Si walked over, squatted down in front of He Yan, pinched his chin, and looked at his face from left to right. "Agares shouldn't have tortured you in private."
Her chin was being held in Jiang Si's hand.
He Yan narrowed his eyes and sighed, "I'm fine. Just touch me and hug me."
Seeing his lingering look, Jiang Si twirled a wisp of spiritual energy around her finger and stroked his face. Instantly, most of He Yan's peeling skin healed.
Seeing this, Jiang Si loosened his grip.
He Yan suddenly opened his narrowed eyes, leaned forward, and stretched out his arms to hug Jiang Si.
Jiang Si acted swiftly, grabbing the chain around his neck and tightening it to stop He Yan from hugging her: "Baby, you're too enthusiastic. I don't like it. If you weren't still useful, you would definitely be a corpse."
He Yan's split mouth emitted a hissing sound, and his golden pupils narrowed again, his expression sinister and crazed: "Touch me again, touch me again."
Jiang Si stood up, clapped her hands, and ignored him. Wei Chi called her over and said, "Jiang Si, come here quickly and see what this is. It smells like shit."
Jiang Si turned her head and saw Wei Chi poking a yellowish lump with a twig.
Jiang Si walked over quickly, and the familiar smell made her look closely: "Durian?"
Wei Chi held up the sticky durian in front of Jiang Si: "You recognize this stinky, shit-smelling thing?"
How could durian smell like poop?
It's not like it's roasted durian.
Besides, this durian is not even in the same league as his shit-flavored candy, okay?
Jiang Si asked excitedly, "Where did you find it?"
Wei Chi pointed with a branch of sticky durian sticking out of his hand: "There's a big tree over there, and a lot of durians have fallen from it."
Jiang Si looked down the branch in his hand and saw a huge durian tree, laden with durians, with many ripe and split-open ones lying on the ground.
"Wow." Jiang Si muttered to herself as she walked over there: "Durian pastry, durian mille-feuille, durian cake, durian egg pudding, durian toast roll, durian feast, my durian feast."
Wei Chi, who was behind her, swallowed hard and hurriedly followed, saying, "You can really eat this stuff? It smells like shit, and you can eat it?"
"Anyway, I'm not giving you any." Jiang Si walked to the tree and saw that the ripe, cracked durians were not spoiled, so she picked them up into her spatial storage.
After picking up all the durians under the tree, she used a willow branch to pick all the durians from the tree, leaving the biggest and yellowest one outside.
She gestured to Wei Chi, "Why don't you kneel down on it and try?"
When Wei Chi thought of all those foods that the little good-for-nothing had been talking about, which he had never even heard of, he knelt down without a second thought when the little good-for-nothing made him kneel on durians.
He jumped up instantly after kneeling down: "What the hell? It stabbed me to death!"
"Don't be so surprised. Watch me." Jiang Si adjusted her combat uniform and slowly knelt down on it. The thorns on the durian instantly pierced her knees. The sour smell made her chuckle: "I've decided to keep the biggest one. I'm going to leave it as it is and not eat it."
"Not eat it? What's its purpose?" Agares's no longer hoarse voice came from behind Jiang Si.
Jiang Si was engrossed in her fantasy of making her cheap husband kneel on durians, completely unaware that he was standing right behind her. She chuckled and casually said, "Make my husband kneel, so he'll think about divorcing me every day. I'll make him kneel on durians and see if he dares to do it again."
Agares turned around from behind Jiang Si, squatted down in front of her, and looked into her dark eyes: "That's a good idea. Do you have any more for me?"
Jiang Si was taken aback. Before she could even think about when her cheap husband had arrived, she blurted out, "What do you need it for?"
Agares smirked slightly. "Of course, I think the same way you do. Take it back and make my wife kneel before it."
