Ice-type superpower!
My brother-in-law has ice-type superpowers!
Fire melts ice.
Jiang Si originally intended to unleash her fire-based superpower, but her body's instincts kicked in, and she instantly dodged to the side even faster than she could.
Three icicles grazed her body as they passed.
With a bang, the three ice spikes shattered into pieces in mid-air.
Ice-based superpowers, when did they become so powerful?
It mutated?
In the zombie apocalypse of ancient Earth, to gain superpowers and mutate, one needed the right timing, location, and people, and to be fearless enough to miraculously mutate. But 3,000 years later, everyone is incredibly powerful.
Jiang Si wiped her nose with her hand, a fighting spirit igniting deep in her eyes. She stepped onto the treetop and looked forward. There was no one in front of her, as if the ice pick she had just hit was an illusion.
She didn't let her guard down and took a few more steps forward. Suddenly, a pair of hands landed on her shoulders. The owner of the hands asked with a chuckle, teasing voice, "Were you looking for me? My lovely darling!"
My brother-in-law's voice brushed past my ear.
"Did Yan Qi learn bad habits from you? He keeps calling other people 'baby' all the time." Jiang Si's eyes darkened, and she paused. "Also, what do I need you for? You're the one who contacted me. Are you having fun?"
"He was never a good person to begin with, why should he learn from me?" Bo Jichen said with a smile, complaining about Yan Qi while getting down to business, trying to expose Jiang Si's true colors: "My darling, can you tell me where you come from, what species are you?"
Look.
What defines a true master?
My brother-in-law is a true master among masters.
Others exposed her true identity.
I want to know how capable she is.
The brother-in-law went straight for her vitals, trying to expose her past and leave her no way out!
What other species?
Which of them isn't human?
"So neither of you are any good, you're both equally bad." Jiang Si then retorted, "Then tell me where you come from, and what species you are?"
As she spoke, she shifted slightly, and Bo Jichen withdrew his hand from her shoulder.
Jiang Si turned around and saw her brother-in-law in a combat uniform, his face painted with camouflage paint, his purple eyes like two purple grapes, without any murderous intent, only shimmering light.
Of course, one has to ignore the nearly 1.2-meter-long knife he was carrying to see that he was harmless.
“I asked you first.” Bo Jichen weighed the long sword in his hand, the way he wielded it making it look like he was about to chop someone down at any moment: “As the old saying goes, respect the elderly and care for the young, and follow the order of arrival. We must inherit this fine tradition, don’t you think? Your Highness, Princess Consort of the Empire.”
Jiang Si suddenly broke into a smile, her eyes crinkling with laughter, and said as if she were checkingmate on a chessboard, "You're right. So, may I ask, should I call you brother-in-law or sister-in-law?"
Compared to dogs, she can be quite ruthless; when she gets angry, she'll even hit and curse herself.
What's more, uncovering a small disguise?
Who's afraid of who?
Bo Jichen was taken aback, then a smile crept onto his lips: "What are you saying? Can't you just call me General?"
Jiang Si spread her hands, looking innocent and naive, and said, "You're right, then can't you just call me Jiang Si?"
"A cunning little fox." A flicker of interest crossed Bo Jichen's purple eyes. "Is it fun to play tricks on my little prince?"
Jiang Si asked in surprise, "You cunning old fox, is it fun to play tricks on the entire empire?"
Bo Jichen casually slashed at the tips of the leaves with the long knife in his hand, then said as a compromise: "It seems we can't reach a verbal agreement. You're unwilling to answer my question, and I'm unwilling to answer yours. How about this, rock-paper-scissors, whoever loses answers whose question, how about that?"
