Chapter 38 No Way You Can Take Advantage of This Prince

Anlia is 110 years old this year and has a level 4 mental strength, which makes her look like she is in her forties or fifties. She shows no signs of aging and is extremely assertive: "Your Highness, we are protecting the level 7 plant healer. How can that be considered breaking the law?"

Isaac chimed in, saying hastily, "It is illegal to fail to protect her and allow her to go free, only to have her harmed. Your Highness, His Majesty has authorized you to come and convene this tripartite meeting so that you can pass a tripartite resolution to find the 7th-level plant healer."

"We're not here to say we're inciting you to break the law. Everything we've done is for the Troia Empire."

Agares tapped his fingers on the back of his hand, his cold features indifferent, his dark eyes sweeping over Anlia before landing on Isaac's face: "You made me pass a resolution to find out the identity of the 7th-level plant healer, ostensibly to protect her."

"In reality, it was to imprison her and deprive her of her freedom. The laws of the Troia Empire stipulate that imprisoning someone without cause is a crime."

"Imprisoning others without cause? What do you mean by that, Your Highness?" Anlia stood up abruptly, becoming even more assertive and sharp, completely forgetting that the person sitting in the main seat was the commander-in-chief of the empire, His Highness the Prince: "Don't even mention the Troia Empire, even the neighboring Federation, the Zerg, the Merfolk, and other races, none of them have a 7th-level plant healer."

"The Troia Empire has finally acquired this treasure, this hope for curing genetic collapse. Are we just waiting for other countries to find out and come to abduct her?"

Agares paused his tapping on the back of his hand, his gaze sweeping over Anlia, his voice icy cold: "Elder Anlia, you are 110 years old this year, the chief of the Elder Council. Genetic collapse must feel like your bones are being crushed, it must be unpleasant."

Anlia braced her hands on the table, her fingers digging into the surface, creating holes in it: "Your Highness, what do you mean? Are you unwilling to sign this search agreement?"

Agares' lips curled into a faint smile: "Elder Anlia, what's the rush? Is the genetic breakdown too painful for you to handle?"

"Are you still worried that since you finally have a level 7 plant-type healer who can repair genetic damage, she might run away, leaving your genes unrepaired and forcing you to endure the pain of having your bones shattered every day?"

“Your Highness Agares.” Anlia, exposed, said with a hint of anger, “Please watch your words. Everything I have done is for the sake of the Empire.”

Agares moved his hand from his lap to the table and tapped it lightly: "For the Empire? Elder Anlia, your loud voice and shrill tone are not the solution."

"You used the pretext of everything for the empire to make me sign a resolution to search for the 7th-level plant healer."

"What do you mean by protecting her? What will you use to protect her? Give her a planet and let her grow plants with spiritual power day and night? Or imprison her in a room and treat her genetic damage day and night?"

"Don't be naive. She is an individual, a free person. She doesn't need anyone's protection, much less your command to treat others' genetic breakdown according to your wishes."

Anlia and Isaac quickly exchanged a glance. They were both getting on in years, and the degree of genetic degradation increased with age.

The Level 7 plant healer is their hope, and that of their family. If they can find that healer, not only they, but their families will no longer have to suffer from genetic decay.

If genetic damage is treated, it might even lead to the birth of a healthy, natural baby. A soft, cuddly baby without genetic damage issues would have a more stable mental state, symbolizing the continuation of the family line and bloodline. Who wouldn't want that? Who wouldn't like that?

“We are doing this for the Empire.” Isaac also stood up and pushed a paper document in front of Agares. “Please sign the tripartite agreement, Your Highness, and request the mainframe to inquire about the 7th-tier plant-type healer.”

Agares looked at the paper documents in front of him. The Council of Elders and the Council of Councilors had already signed them; all that was left was for him to represent His Majesty's side.

To find accounts protected by the mastermind, all three parties must sign a request for the highest level of access to hidden account information.

Agares paused his tapping on the table, his dark gaze sweeping over the two men again: "Gentlemen, a level 7 plant healer has managed to hide in the Empire for so many years without being noticed. Do you think you could withstand a few blows from her if you anger her?"

Anlia blurted out, "Isn't there Your Highness? And the Imperial Army, His Majesty's Guard?"

"In that case, you still can't win over a level 7 plant healer?"

Agares raised a cold eyebrow: "Take it down? Elder Anlia, your eagerness is really not elegant."

In other words, their behavior was truly unseemly!

Anlia was shocked and secretly regretted that she had said the word "take".

Isaac, acting like a troublemaker, said, "Your Highness, Elder Anlia was only acting for the sake of the Empire; her words were somewhat inappropriate."

"But you must understand her. As an elder of the Imperial Council, she, like you, regards the people of the Troia Empire as family and protects them."

"Therefore, now that the empire has finally found hope and a treasure, it is urgent to find a 7th-level plant healer in order to benefit the people of the empire."

Agares stood up, picked up the three paper agreements on the table, and said slowly, "Look, not only are you two instigating me to break the law, but you are also instigating my hunting legion, as well as His Majesty and His Majesty's guards, to break the law."

"I will convey your intentions to His Majesty and the people. Let's see if the people want to imprison the 7th-level plant healer to treat your genetic breakdown, or if they want the 7th-level plant healer to roam freely in the empire and cultivate plants so that every citizen has a chance to be cured of their genetic breakdown. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave now!"

After saying that, he turned and left.

Anlia dared not stop them, but the daily onset of genetic collapse was as painful as shattered bones, causing her to say to Agares, "Your Highness, what you are doing is breaking the law. To abandon the empire's treasures and hopes is a crime."

Agares paused slightly, his dark eyes falling on Anlia, causing Anlia to tense up and break out in a cold sweat.

He said, "Even if your genes are repaired, you two will not be able to have a naturally born baby. You two have instigated me to break the law today. I will file a lawsuit with the Supreme People's Procuratorate. I hope you two will behave yourselves."

"What does he mean? He has zero fertility value, so he's jealous of others and doesn't want them to repair their genetic damage and have a natural birth?" Isaac only dared to slam his fist on the table and roar after Agares left the meeting room. "I'm his elder, his uncle, we're family, how dare he do this?"
