Escape from town
The two men and the ghost looked at each other for a long time. Finally, they couldn't beat the male ghost, so they had to let him go and try to find a way to get rid of him tomorrow.
But if he stayed here, the two of them were too cold to sleep. "Men and women shouldn't touch each other. Go wait for us downstairs." Li Ping'an thought he would have to talk him downstairs for a while, but he disappeared as soon as he said that, and the temperature in the room also rose a little.
I originally thought that the two of them would not be able to sleep because of him, but they were really too tired in the past two days and had not had a full night's sleep. Not long after lying down, they lost consciousness. When they woke up after a good sleep and lifted the curtains, they found that it was almost noon outside.
When he walked downstairs and saw the male ghost standing in the middle, Li Ping'an's eyes went dark. He didn't expect that he could actually appear in the sun. This was too unconventional.
Not knowing what to say, they simply said nothing. After a quick wash, Li Ping'an and Annie heated up the leftover stewed chicken and rice from yesterday, planning to have another big meal.
During this time, the male ghost had been standing not far from them, staring at them. When the two of them were concentrating on eating, he suddenly interrupted and asked, "What are you eating?"
"Stewed chicken and rice." Li Ping'an answered simply. After all, he was a ghost, so he couldn't eat it even if he was given it.
"I want to eat too." The male ghost said without hesitation.
Li Ping'an put down the bowl and chopsticks in his hands, but did not stand up. Instead, he looked up and down at the male ghost in front of him. Could it be that they had made a wrong judgment? The man in front of him was not a male ghost. Otherwise, why was he not afraid of the sun and wanted to eat now?
"Aren't you a ghost? Do ghosts need to eat?" Perhaps the food in front of her blinded Annie's eyes, making her temporarily forget her fear of male ghosts, and she said this without thinking.
After saying that, the male ghost turned his gaze to Annie with an expressionless face, while Li Pingan protected Annie behind him, fearing that the male ghost would have another seizure.
Annie realized later that what she said was wrong, and she quickly stood up and sincerely admitted her mistake. Then she found a set of bowls and chopsticks and placed them respectfully in front of the male ghost.
The meal was so awkward that Li Pingan couldn't stand it anymore and simply asked, "Why was it so cold around you last night, but not now?"
The male ghost was holding a bowl, chewing the rice in his mouth carefully. After hearing Li Ping'an's question, he chewed the rice into pieces and swallowed it before answering, "Oh, I can control this myself."
Li Ping'an understood his subtext and clenched the chopsticks in his hand. It turned out that he deliberately woke the two of them up with the cold last night.
Annie obviously understood as she rubbed the chopsticks with her teeth, making a squeaking sound.
After hearing this, the male ghost suddenly looked directly at Annie and admonished her, "You can't do this while eating."
After hearing this, Annie turned around and repeated what the male ghost said to Li Ping'an in a weird way where the male ghost couldn't see her. Li Ping'an was both amused and scared, fearing that the male ghost would have a seizure if he saw her.
Although the male ghost said he wanted to eat, he only took a few mouthfuls of rice and a piece of chicken before putting it down. He then commented, "The ingredients are excellent, but the cooking is not good."
Hearing this, they both rolled their eyes, thinking it was just a dog barking.
After eating, Annie packed up the useful items she had found yesterday and put them on her back. She went to the second floor and took a look at the situation in front of the gate. Because there was a lot of noise in the house yesterday, it attracted some zombies, who were now wandering in front of the door. There were quite a lot of them, and Li Pingan was afraid that it would be difficult to deal with them alone, so he could only lead some of them away first.
Li Ping'an came to the second floor and climbed onto the roof with the help of the windowsill. As soon as he made a sound, the zombies downstairs raised their heads and roared towards the sky, and some even banged the rolling door frantically. Li Ping'an quickly ran along the roof to other places and led the zombies downstairs away.
Annie took this opportunity to open the glass door and lifted a corner of the rolling door. Hearing Li Ping'an's hurried footsteps coming from upstairs, Annie quickly made preparations.
The distance on the roof was limited, so Li Ping'an could only lead the zombies a little further away. At this time, some zombies had already returned following the smell and sound.
Seeing the zombies running towards him not far away, Li Pingan quickly started his motorcycle and rushed out. The sound attracted other zombies on the roadside. In an instant, all the zombies on the street rushed out of the houses. Li Pingan tried his best to dodge the zombies in front of him, and at the same time kicked away the zombies that rushed from the side, and worked hard to clear a gap, and rushed towards the main road with Annie.
There must have been a serious car accident on this road before. Fortunately, the motorcycle was not big, so it was able to shuttle through the road full of broken vehicles and avoid the hands reaching out from the cars.
It was not until he passed through the congested road that Li Ping'an slowed down a little and breathed a sigh of relief. Only then did he feel that his palms were full of sweat and sticky.
Just when Li Pingan was about to ask Annie how she was, he heard someone say, "What were you doing just now?"
Li Ping'an turned his head and saw the male ghost floating nearby, even holding a piece of grass that he had pulled from somewhere.
Although he knew that the male ghost had no obligation to help them, seeing him floating around so leisurely, Li Pingan was still angry in his heart, so he uttered two words, "Playing."
"What are you playing? Is it fun?"
Li Pingan couldn't help but curse in his heart, what a joke.
Seeing that Li Ping'an ignored him, the male ghost shifted his gaze to Annie behind her. Annie was hugging Li Ping'an tightly at this time with an expressionless face.
"Why aren't you playing? Is she the one playing?"
Annie turned to the male ghost, speechless. "Listen to what you're saying, are you talking like a human being? I'm afraid someone removed his brain after he died."
Annie rolled her eyes at him and asked curiously, "How old are you?"
Annie assured her that she was just curious, with at most a hint of malice mixed in. Unexpectedly, the male ghost became lost in thought after hearing this, and simply stopped where he was.
Realizing that the male ghost was not moving, Li Ping'an thought this was a good opportunity. He twisted his hand all the way down, determined to throw the male ghost on the road so that he couldn't find it.
The two did not see the male ghost again until they passed by a gas station to refuel.
"Ping'an, why is he so nervous?" Annie thought this male ghost was too weird.
"I guess someone hit his head when he died." Li Ping'an felt that this male ghost must not have been a good person when he was alive.
"Will he still come?"
"I don't know," Li Pingan shook his head, "but given his ability, it would be easy for him to find us."
"Luckily, he won't go crazy right now." Annie had just finished speaking when she saw the male ghost floating over, looking frustrated. "I don't know."
"Don't know what?" Annie rarely saw the male ghost's expression change.
"I wonder how old I am?"
Annie rolled her eyes, staring at the male ghost for a moment, then said seriously, "Judging from your appearance, you shouldn't be very old. You look about fifteen."
"Well, since you can't remember clearly, let's just say she was fifteen."
The male ghost didn't hear it, but Li Ping'an realized that she was fooling him.
"What's your name?" Anne continued.
The male ghost still shook his head.
Annie pretended to think, "You can't be without a name. Otherwise, how can others call you? They can't just call you 'you' every day."
"Well, let's do this. Ping An has the character An in it, and I have the character An too. So I'll give you a name that also has the character An. What's your name, An?"
The male ghost nodded repeatedly and began to think.
Li Ping'an was a little surprised at this time. He used to think that the male ghost was not smart, but now it seems that he is just a child who knows nothing.
"Okay, you can call yourself Anding. It's such a good name, so auspicious." Annie clapped her hands and decided, "Since we all have the same generation name as An, from now on Ping'an will be your eldest sister, I will be your second sister, and you will be the third brother."
"Do you understand?" Annie was obviously testing the male ghost's bottom line, but she didn't expect him to nod.
Seeing this, Annie leaned over to Li Ping'an's ear and said, "Ping'an, I think he's really stupid."
Hearing this, Li Pingan looked at her with a smile and whispered, "Then why are you teasing him?"
"It's his fault that he almost killed us last time." Annie still remembers that the wound on the back of Li Ping'an's neck still hurts.
It’s better to be a little stupid so that you can be fooled.
The male ghost seemed to be very curious about Li Ping'an's cheering action, "What are you doing?"
"That's rude. You should call me sister," Annie said from the side.
"Oh, sister, what are you doing?"
Hearing the male ghost really call them sisters, Annie turned around, her whole face twisted into a ball, half of it was happy, half of it was funny, grinning. Li Pingan didn't expect that the male ghost who wanted to kill them last night would start calling them sisters today, and her face suddenly turned all colors.
The male ghost waited for a long time, but no one explained. He wanted to get the gas pump himself, but Li Pingan quickly stopped him. This was no joke, and explained, "We are refueling the motorcycle."
“Come on, why do you have to work harder?”
"You can only run if you add oil."
"What is this thing that can run? Why can it run?"
Ever since Li Pingan realized that he was an idiot, his fear of him had completely dissipated. He listened to his endless stream of questions, feeling annoyed and unwilling to pay attention to him. Seeing that he got no response, the male ghost turned around and annoyed Annie beside him, "What is this thing? Why can it run?"
Annie kindly replied, "It's a motorcycle. I don't know why it can run."
"Why don't you know?"
"Why do I have to know what you're saying?" Annie put her hands on her hips. "Also, have you forgotten to call us sister again?"
"Why don't you call her sister?" The male ghost finally reacted.
Annie didn't want to pay any attention to him and turned to walk towards the convenience store at the gas station. The two of them had just seen that the zombies in the gas station and convenience store had been killed by other people, and accordingly, the things in the convenience store had been taken away.
Li Ping'an's gas is almost done, so he can go to the convenience store to see if there are any fish that have slipped through the net.
The male ghost looked at Li Ping'an who was standing there and Annie who was walking towards the convenience store. After standing there for a while, he followed Annie.
