Chapter 14

Chapter 14

The pharmacist used the feathers of birds in the world of truth as medicine to make a potion of amnesia. Not long after it was made, someone knocked on the door. When he opened the door, the queen's servants were outside. They looked in with a fierce look and saw the things on his desk. They knew that he had finished it, but had not yet notified them. They knew it and rushed in to take the things away.

Before they left, they said to the pharmacist in a haughty manner: "Her Majesty the Queen is not unaware of your ill intentions, but because you are useful, she did not do anything to you. Who knows that you are ungrateful? If you continue like this, Her Majesty the Queen will not be lenient."

Then we left.

The pharmacist stood at the door in a daze, watching them walk away, and suddenly closed the door, leaning his back against it, thinking, Damn it, if I had known it would be like this, I would not have come. Do they really think I am happy to come to such a place? It's not to stir up trouble. There is no meaning at all, and there is no benefit at all. What am I doing here? What am I trying to achieve?

Do they really think I am a good person who is wholeheartedly pursuing the improvement of medical skills? They open a dyeing factory with a little color, and become brilliant with a little sunshine. Do they really think that there is no one in the world who can control them? Humph, I don't believe it! I will remember this grudge, you just wait for me.

The pharmacist packed his bag and slipped away when no one was paying attention.

Although the palace was heavily guarded, it could not stop a pharmacist who was determined to escape.

After the queen knew about this, she was furious, but then she thought, the medicine had been handed in, the patient was almost well, whether the pharmacist was still in the palace was not an important matter, so it was better not to mention it.

After thinking it through, the queen asked people not to discuss it anymore, just treat it as a past, and put an end to the storm.

Araki drank the medicine and fell into a daze. He slept for several months. When he woke up again, he opened his eyes and saw the king talking to the queen not far away. A group of people were beside them, with their heads bowed, as if they had just saluted, and it looked very lively.

Araki could not help but frown when he felt the atmosphere in the room that did not belong to him. He felt uncomfortable, as if he had forgotten something or if he had eaten something wrong. In short, his body gradually became uncomfortable.

He thought for a while and did not think that he had forgotten something. He sat up and wanted to leave the room. He felt that if he continued to stay here, he would feel even more uncomfortable. He did not want to fall ill and lie down again as soon as he opened his eyes.

But the queen's thoughts were obviously not exactly the same as his.

As soon as he moved, a servant noticed him and shouted, "Your Highness the Prince has woken up! Your Highness the Prince has woken up!"

The queen turned around and saw that Araki was blinking. Although his face was still pale, he was obviously better than before and would not die in the next second. It was as if she had seen her son's radiant face in the near future. She was very happy and wiped her tears and said, "Oh! My son, you are finally getting better. You don't know how worried your mother was about you."

Araki did not listen to her words. She thought it was ridiculous in her heart. She rolled her eyes to look at the king behind the queen.

The king stood in the shadow not far away, his face was a little gloomy, as if he was not happy that Araki woke up, but out of consideration for his feelings and the queen crying in front of him, he had to act like a good father, pulling the corners of his mouth and revealing a little smile, which was worse than having no smile at all, not only was it not very pretty, but it was also very strange, as if he felt that the person in front of him was not a living person.

He did not speak, as if he had nothing to say.

The queen had cried herself, and she took the handkerchief handed to her by the servant beside her, wiped the tears from her cheeks, and suddenly became energetic, as if she had been given an injection of chicken blood. She smiled and pulled the king and said, "Why don't you say anything? Your son is well. This is a great thing and we should celebrate. You should at least show some happiness and don't scare your son. He is already like this."

The queen whispered, "Why are you still arguing with him?"

The king glanced at the queen, obviously not agreeing with what the queen said.

The queen approached the king and continued, "He is just a child, young and easily deceived. Now he is fine and doesn't remember anything. You are still his father. Why did you fight with him? You are already the king. What can he do to you? He can only accept what you give him. Isn't that good? Smile. Don't let others see the joke."

The king forced a twisted smile.

Araki returned the favor with a similar sneer, which looked quite sarcastic.

The king was a little angry at the time. He had been a king for a long time and never thought that others could be on an equal footing with him. What's more, Araki's previous actions and thoughts had hurt his heart mercilessly. He didn't think there was anything wrong with his current treatment of Araki.

Son? So what if he is a son! There are many sons in the world. He does not have only this one son, nor can he allow only this one son to ascend the throne! There are many people who want to be king. He only needs to show a little intention that he wants the other party to be his heir. Even if they have biological parents, they may rush to curry favor with him and ask him for their leftovers.

He did not give her away only because he saw that the queen was beautiful and they were in harmony with each other. He did not really care about such a son. As a father, could he still be afraid of his own son? He would not be humble! He did not do anything wrong, and he would not forget the past all of a sudden. Why should he be submissive? He would not apologize! Absolutely not!

The queen pulled the king, and the king glanced at her, trying to suppress the discomfort in his heart, and showed the queen a much warmer smile than before, and hugged the queen considerately and asked: "Why don't we go out? Our son has just woken up and needs a doctor. There are many doctors waiting in the palace. Since he needs it, let the doctor come and see him. It's not a big deal." The queen

thought about it and nodded in agreement. When

the two of them talked, there was no room for Araki to speak, and he didn't give him any chance to choose. It was as if they couldn't see that there was another person here, but they had to put Araki in it when they did things, as if they were roasting a living person in a fire, and they wanted to pull him out only after he was roasted. When they saw that it was not black charcoal, they were still dissatisfied.

Araki felt angry and confused.

He was angry because he hated the people in front of him, and confused because he felt empty inside. He always felt that there should be someone by his side, as if it was not even a person but a bird. However, he never kept a pet. Even if he did, he would see the remains of the pet in a day. He was not so idle that he would go crazy. Why would he suddenly get a bird as a pet?

Moreover, the birds nearby were all disgusting, ugly, disobedient, difficult to raise, and loud and unpleasant. He had seen their appearance when he was just born, and they were particularly ugly and disgusting. They also ate a lot of insects. He didn't have any insects in his hands, and he didn't want others to go out of their way to find bird food for him. He also felt it was dirty to think that birds would eat it and then poop.

He didn't know that birds were intestines, but he found it even more disgusting when he knew it.

Thinking of this, Araki suddenly felt that he must have dreamed, and took the things in the dream as things that happened in reality. In this way, it is possible that he just woke up and his mind was a little unclear, confusing reality. Otherwise, how could he take something that he knew was impossible as true?

This was strange and funny.

Araki shook his head and thought that he must be confused.

Even if he wanted to keep a pet, there was no need to keep a bird. Although he didn't like the sound of cats in heat, the sharp teeth of dogs, the flying and crawling of insects in front of his eyes, the scales of fish, and the wriggling of snakes... In theory, he would not keep a pet, but it is inevitable that everyone has times when they are unconscious or have no self-awareness, and he had accidents before.

Those who might have been his pets had their belongings smashed, burned, and thrown out, not to mention those who were still alive.

He would never keep a pet.

Araki suddenly felt a little panicked, and he could only repeat this sentence to himself over and over again, as if as long as this sentence was still in his heart, it was equivalent to nothing happening when he was unconscious.

Nothing happened, why should he be so nervous?

Araki was confused and wanted to get out of bed.

The servant stopped him and said, "No! You can't go out!"

Araki stood in the room, his eyes were dark. The face of the nagging servant became scary in front of him, like some kind of man-eating monster. The huge black and red mouth opened and closed as if it wanted to swallow him whole. He squinted his eyes and stood there in a daze. It took him a long time to hear what the other side was saying.

"You can't go out until you are well. If you go out and get sick again, Her Majesty the Queen will not let us go. For the sake of your health, for the sake of Her Majesty the Queen's mood, and even for our lives, please, Your Highness, don't go out at this time. You really can't go out now. If you want to go out, wait for Her Majesty the Queen to come..."

The servant was still talking, with a look of pity on his face and very honest words.

Araki didn't intend to embarrass them. Anyway, his current predicament had little to do with them, and there was no need to anger others. In fact, even if they wanted to intervene, they couldn't intervene in so many things that made him unhappy. He lay back on the bed and fell asleep soon.
