Chapter 208 Three Pedestrians

Chapter 208 Three Pedestrians

As soon as Chen Fei and Ye Yao arrived at the gate of the Buddhist temple, the strange power around the temple suddenly disappeared. Without that aura as high as the heavens, it was as if it had fallen from the fairyland to the human world.

This Buddhist temple is made entirely of blue-gray stone and has only one small hall.

The door of the Buddhist hall was not closed, and inside was a Buddha statue with its feet on a lotus seat.

Ye Yao looked around carefully. Although the Buddhist temple looked a little shabby, it was very clean and there was no dust left by the years.

On both sides of the Buddhist temple stand oil lamps filled with grease, illuminating the temple brightly.

The entire temple does not seem to have any magical characteristics, as if it is just an ordinary secular temple.

Ye Yao’s first impression of the Buddhist temple was that there were people living and taking care of it.

However, there are no cushions, wooden fish or other items used by Buddhist monks for their studies in the entire Buddhist temple, and there are no incense offerings on the Buddha statues.

Although the entire temple gave her a feeling of peace and tranquility, Ye Yao did not dare to take it lightly.

Moreover, as soon as she entered here, the spirit of Snow Drinking Mad Blade, which had originally conveyed her a sense of danger, returned to calm from its active state.

The spirit of the White Lotus Buddha Lamp was extremely excited, like a young swallow returning to its mother's arms. After a while, it seemed to have absorbed a lot of benefits, as if it was drunk.

The light, which was originally as small as a bean, kept flickering, making her shadow look like a dancing devil.

Chen Fei felt that Ye Yao was a little nervous, so he pulled Ye Yao and pointed to the Buddhist hall.

There is a pond there, full of lotus flowers, and big fish of various colors jump in it from time to time.

A straw mat was laid by the pond, and a fishing rod was set up in front of the mat, with a thin line extending into the pond.

There was a bucket next to the straw mat, and there were already several big fish fluttering in it.

Ye Yao looked surprised. She had completely ignored this place until Fade Chen pointed it out to her.

Sure enough, there is something quite special here.

Moreover, it looks like there were people living here before, and they were fishing leisurely.

But something happened suddenly, and the original owner fled without having time to collect this blessed land.

“This should be a fragment of a perfect Pure Land of Sambhogakaya. Before I peeked into the core, I could only see the periphery.

The layout here is still there, so it was able to hide in the void before, but there was no one in charge, so I figured it out."

Chen Fei looked at the pond with a dim gaze, but he could only see a mist and the general structure of the pond.

This pond is naturally the pond of all the eight treasures’ merits within the Pure Land of Reward Body.

The Buddhist method of cultivating the reward body is to make great aspirations and then practice to fulfill them.

During this process, if one's behavior is in line with the principles of the Tao, after completing one's ambitions, one will naturally be rewarded by the Tao of heaven and earth.

A great wish and action are the cause, and the result is obtained after the great wish is fulfilled. The result can improve the monk's cultivation and increase his Buddha nature.

Of course, ambitions must be in line with one's own self. If one makes ambitions that one cannot fulfill, and cannot resonate with the Tao, naturally one will get nothing.

The closer a Buddhist monk who cultivates his reward body gets to the fundamental Buddha nature, the more he will be in harmony with the great way of heaven and earth.

Until it approaches perfection, one's own reward body and the pure land evolved from the reward body will completely become a part of heaven, earth and the Tao.

"Bring the straw mat and the fish bucket over here, go into the Buddhist hall, and cook some fish!"

Fade Chen licked his lips and clapped his hands in front of him. Air currents surged, and the surrounding particles and matter gathered together, condensing into a large cauldron.

This is a pure Yang creation, a method of material transformation, which can be achieved with the subtle control of the Daluo level.

Although Chen Fei did not use much mana in order to improve his cultivation of secret power, he still knew these techniques.

Ye Yao arrived at the edge of the pond, rolled up the straw mat, and picked up the fish bucket.

Looking closely at the pond at this moment, she felt that the lotus flowers under the sparkling moonlight became even more beautiful, the fragrance of the flowers was overflowing, and she felt like she was floating in the air with just one breath.

Her beautiful eyes shone with a strange light. Her body was a magic body, and when she encountered the power of immortals and Buddhas, she was incompatible with them.

These lotuses looked like ordinary species, not spiritual roots, otherwise they would definitely restrain her magic power and cause her pain.

But at this moment, she felt her body relax and warm, and the hidden injuries left by years of physical pain from practicing magic seemed to be easing.

These lotuses are nourished in an extremely wonderful way, as if they contain laws.

Fresh water bubbled up in the pond, as if there was a spring inside.

The fishing rod glowed faintly, carrying a misty aura. When Ye Yao thought of touching the fishing rod, he felt the divine sword at his waist vibrate.

This fishing rod contains powerful forbidden techniques, which poses considerable danger. Moreover, its aura is connected to the fragments of the entire Pure Land, making it appear as solid as a mountain.

She used her magic power to roll up the bubbling spring water, broke off a lotus root, and brought the straw mat and fish bucket to the Buddhist temple.

Fade Chen instructed Ye Yao to lay the straw mat in a fixed position, then he lay down on it and sighed comfortably.

"This straw mat is likely made of bamboo of heavenly and earthly spiritual root level. Sleeping on it will definitely give you a sweet dream."

"All the power of this Pure Land fragment is hidden. What we are dealing with now are all ordinary things."

"However, through the things in this Buddhist temple, there is a chance to touch the true core power."

Fade Chen stretched and felt lazy all over.

Ye Yao's eyes showed a thoughtful look: "Sir, please be more careful!"

Fade Chen waved his hand and said, "This is your place of opportunity, but it doesn't mean the treasures here can help you.
