Chapter 25 looks anything but serious

Sanning, "···"

Okay, she once again gained a direct understanding of genetically evolved humans.

Mu Tao's focus was quite unique; after he finished speaking, his gaze fell on the dandelions and violets that Sang Ning was holding.

"Ningning, what are you going to do with these grasses?"

As soon as he said this, Luo Tianya and Mo Nainai said eagerly, "This is the medicine Ningning picked for you. She said it can treat bee stings."

Mo Nainai glanced at Mu Tao's face and couldn't help but sigh, "I told Ningning before that we didn't need it. After all, you have thick skin and it's not a big deal if you get stung by a bee. But Ningning didn't listen and insisted on picking so many."

"real?"

Mu Tao was instantly moved to tears, "Ningning, you are such a good person."

Sang Ning: "...It's not that bad."

"So, these herbs are medicine?"

"It can also be used in cooking."

"Is it edible?"

Mu Tao was shocked. The medicine was actually edible; it was something she had never heard of or seen before.

Seeing his naive and unsophisticated demeanor, the live stream chat erupted in laughter.

"Haha, Big Peach's pupil earthquake scene is quite vivid."

"I find the big peaches to be getting cuter and cuter."

"You guys upstairs must be inhuman, I'm dying of laughter too, hahaha..."

The people in charge of the live streams looked at the screen full of "haha" comments and couldn't understand what was so funny.

"By the way, is the honey still there?"

After being shocked by the dandelion and violet, Mu Tao remembered his honey.

Luo Tianya patted the bamboo tubes in the basket and replied, "They're all here."

"Let's go back and have honey-roasted chicken."

Upon seeing the honey, Mu Tao immediately thought of the honey-roasted chicken that Sang Ning had mentioned, and her mouth watered instantly.

Upon hearing this, Luo Tianya and Mo Nainai's eyes lit up, and they looked at Sang Ning, "Ningning, is it okay?"

Sang Ning checked the time and nodded decisively, "Okay."

So, the group headed back with a full load of goodies.

It was almost four hours after they returned to the cave. Mu Taozei then eagerly pulled out a pot and started boiling water.

Monet and Luo Tianya were also busy. One of them used a laser axe to cut the dead wood they had dragged back into firewood, while the other quickly tidied up the things in the basket and the backpack.

"Ningning, what is this?"

Monet took out a bright orange fruit, held it to her nose, and smelled its unique, refreshing aroma.

"It smells nice."

"lemon."

Sang Ning was killing a rabbit when he heard the sound. He glanced at the fruit in her hand and then gave his answer.

Monet's expression immediately became conflicted. "Is this a lemon?"

"No, I remember lemons don't look like this."

Sang Ning became interested, "What do the lemons you know look like?"

"So big."

Monet drew a circle with her hand and said seriously, "Ningning, this is really not a lemon. Lemons don't taste like this."

"Then let's go with the yellow fruit."

Sang Ning readily agreed, saying that what it was called didn't matter, as long as lemons were a good fruit.

It can be eaten as a fruit, soaked in water, used as a beverage, or used as a condiment.

Finding lemons was a pleasant surprise. We discovered this lemon tree, and fortunately, it's bearing a good amount of fruit, so we won't be short of lemons for a while.

Good.

Monet was extremely disgusted. "Your name sounds so unserious, it's too perfunctory."

Sang Ning smiled but didn't say anything, continuing with what she was doing.

The rabbit Mu Tao caught was quite fat. Seeing her swiftly and decisively slit the rabbit's throat, Mo Nainai felt a chill run down her spine. At the same time, for some reason, she suddenly blurted out, "Ningning, have you ever killed someone?"

"I killed you."

Sang Ning put all the rabbit blood into a bamboo tube. She had never eaten rabbit blood before and didn't know if it was edible or how to cook it properly, so she didn't want the blood.

Once everything is empty, seal the bamboo tube, take it out, go a distance away, dig a hole, and bury it with the unwanted internal organs for safety.

"You never say anything serious."

Mo Nai scoffed, took a big bite of the lemon, and immediately her whole face scrunched up from the sourness.

"Ugh, this is so sour."

After spitting it out and taking a long time to recover, Mo Nainai chug down half a bamboo tube of cold boiled water. She covered her cheeks and breathed on them as she said, "It's not good. It's too sour. I've never eaten such sour food before."

The audience was intrigued, and so were Mu Tao and the others.

"Is it really that sour?"

"real."

Monet nodded and handed over the lemon with a chip in it, "Try it if you don't believe me."

"I'll try it."

Luo Tianya swung the laser axe at the lemon, cutting off two thin slices. He then gave one slice to Mu Tao and stuffed the other into his mouth.

Then, both of them became so sour they were unrecognizable.

The audience members who had originally planned to ask the person in charge to tell Luo Tianya to cut a slice for them to try hesitated when they saw how sour they looked and wished they could ascend to heaven.

This thing looks terrifying.

Just to be on the safe side, they shouldn't try it.

Mu Tao and the others were completely unaware of the changes in the audience.

The two, repeating Monet's old tricks, asked Sang Ning with a look of horror, "Why did you bring back something so sour? It's inedible."

"That's because you don't know how to eat."

Sang Ning responded coolly.

Mu Tao and the others, "..."

I can't live like this anymore. I'm constantly criticizing them. So what if they can cook? Okay, they really are amazing, at least they can't cook.

That should be fine. Eating yams every day can get a bit tiring. Maybe this isn't the lemon yellow fruit they know and remember. It's truly a rare delicacy.

We can look forward to it.

The three, who were expected to be successful, became Sang Ning's little followers in the following days, serving tea and water, adding firewood, and doing whatever they were asked to do, looking extremely obedient.

Even Mo Nai Nai, whom Mu Tao called a spoiled princess, was extremely obedient, diligently following Sang Ning's steps as she roasted the rabbit over the fire.

The pheasant was made into honey-roasted chicken, but the rabbit was too big and the pot was too small, so it wasn't suitable for making anything. It would take several attempts to finish cooking it, which was too troublesome.

Sang Ning, who neither wanted nor liked trouble, roasted the rabbit as well.

There's no cooking method simpler than roasting. Even though the variety of ingredients isn't extensive, it has all the essentials. Plus, the pheasant and rabbit are of good quality, so the roasted result is surprisingly delicious.

The four of them ate with gusto, making the audience's mouths water.

"The color looks great, golden and crispy, and it smells delicious. I'd like to try making it myself. Anyone from the same planet want to join me?"

"Give me your coordinates, let's see if we're on the same planet. If we are, let's meet up."

"I'll count myself in."

"Me too."

"···"

Many viewers were willing to manually operate the controls, so the screen full of bullet comments became coordinates.
