"If we follow this line of thinking, then the name 'sand cotton' is wrong. This thing should be called 'colored cotton' instead."
Qin Heng felt that no matter what this thing was called, the fact that it could be grown proved that Sang Ning and the others' hard work had not been in vain.
The money wasn't wasted.
"What it's called isn't important; what's important is that these sandy plants can turn yellow sand into soil."
At this point, he said with great emotion, "Just for this reason alone, I believe that even if these sandy plants have no economic value, Sang Ning and the others would still be happy."
Because it means they have an oasis, they have soil, instead of the past, where it was just yellow sand and finding an oasis was extremely difficult.
Louis thought it made sense. "Now we just have to wait for the sand cotton to ripen."
“I’ve been invited to a DBS event in September, and I’ll bring Sang Ning with me to see if we can find buyers for sandy cotton there.”
That's a good option.
but--
"Actually, there's no need to go through all that trouble. My family has a manufacturing business."
Qin Heng said seriously, "Opening a few hundred or a thousand more production lines specifically for producing cotton fabric shouldn't be a problem."
Louis, "..."
Louis looked at him as if he were an alien. "How come your father didn't beat you to death for doing business like this?"
Qin Heng looked utterly bewildered. "What did I do to deserve being beaten to death by my dad?"
"You're a spendthrift, and not just any spendthrift."
They're talking about hundreds or thousands of production lines right off the bat; they really don't treat money like money.
Qin Heng's lips twitched slightly. "Is your family short of money?"
"We don't lack anything."
"How much would it cost you to build a bio-mecha?"
"Starting at tens of millions."
How much will you sell it for?
"Starting at 100 million."
"Then your rate of return isn't even as high as mine."
Then, Qin Heng told him in detail about his great achievements.
After hearing his words, Louis fell silent.
That was too hasty!
It turns out that Qin Heng is actually a business genius.
It turns out that the clown was actually himself.
Speaking of which—
"Could you help me sell my future mechs? I can give you a commission."
"Can."
Speaking of this, Qin Heng got excited, "Actually, I've always thought you were pretty stupid."
"ah?"
Louis couldn't believe it. "Me, stupid? How am I stupid?"
"If you're not stupid, then there are no stupid people in the world."
Qin Heng sighed and clicked his tongue, saying, "The first bio-mecha created by the father of bio-mecha only sold for 500 million. Let me tell you, you lost a lot of money, you know that?"
"If I were selling these, I'd need at least 20 at the very least."
"Can...can you sell so many?"
"It must be possible."
Qin Heng broke it down for him, explaining, "The first bio-mecha in the entire history of the Mo Yikaz universe, its name alone is worth a lot of money."
"Secondly, the first bio-mech is a fact that will be recorded in history."
"Furthermore, the bio-mechs have a very long lifespan."
"In addition, the first bio-mech you created was a growable mech."
At this point, he asked Louis, "Do you even know what the first bio-mech you created represents?"
What does it represent?
Louis had never thought about this question.
He's a tech guy, not very good at business or anything else.
The reason he initially chose the path of an armor maker stemmed from a childhood outing where he was unexpectedly rescued by a garrison soldier piloting a mech.
The feeling of surviving a near-death experience, when a giant steel machine descended from the sky to bring him light and hope, gave him a special affection and interest in mechs.
Once intelligent life becomes interested in an object or a person, it will naturally want to learn more about it.
He was no exception.
Because of his special feelings and interest in mecha, he plunged headlong into the world of mecha.
They could never get out.
The emergence of the bio-mecha marked a new benchmark and a new standard in the history of mecha, thanks to his overcoming of technical difficulties.
He became one of the leading figures in the history of mecha.
He can proudly and confidently declare to all intelligent life in the universe: I, Louis, have conquered existing mecha technology, crossed a new threshold, and led a new trend in mecha technology!
Thinking of this, he suddenly realized, "I sold it at a loss. I've become the father of bio-mechs. The first mech I made has a high appreciation value and can be passed down as a family heirloom."
"My goodness, you've finally figured it out."
Qin Heng slapped his thigh and said excitedly, "So when you sold the bio-mecha, I was completely stunned."
"I don't understand why you want to sell it. You're not short of money."
"I originally thought you would sell it for a higher price, but it's only 500 million. What's the difference between this and giving it away for free?"
Louis pouted, feeling increasingly aggrieved, and then burst into tears.
The tears could be heartbreaking, could be filled with grievance.
She cried and muttered that he had been ripped off and was no good person.
We arrived at our destination just in time. The car was self-driving and landed immediately upon arrival, with the doors opening.
But Louis was crying so hard, and Qin Heng was so startled by his wailing that he was busy comforting him that neither of them noticed that the car had stopped and the door was open.
Naturally, they didn't notice Sang Ning's arrival.
So, when Sang Ning saw that they didn't get out of the car to check on things, and then saw the scene inside the car and Louis being repeatedly tricked and treated like a scoundrel, he was almost dumbfounded.
She looked completely bewildered and asked, "What's going on with you two?!"
