Disappointment appeared on the man's face.
"Could you help me think of a solution?"
Sang Ning's lips twitched slightly, and she said helplessly, "This overview diagram of yours is no longer a matter of figuring out a solution; it's just like Louis said, we can't get the raw materials for weaving."
"What about using high-quality steel or similar auxiliary materials?"
Sanning, "???"
Where did this weirdo come from?
She looked at Louis and gestured for you to go and talk to him.
Louis raised an eyebrow. "Fine, I'll talk to him then."
Chao Sangning gave an OK sign, then stepped out of the booth and gestured to the man, "Brother, shall we chat over there?"
The man looked at him, then at Sang Ning who was smiling at him, and nodded after thinking for two seconds.
"Okay, let's talk over there."
So the two left the booth and went to the square not far away.
Fimmonloa leaned closer, puzzled, and said, "I don't understand why anyone would want to weave such a product."
"For art."
Luo Tianya, who had been fiddling with something on the terminal since the man appeared, looked up with a strange expression and said, "You would never guess who this was."
Everyone looked at him, even the owner of the rice cake shop next door and Wei Lanlan looked over, their eyes filled with the same curiosity.
“Philoc, the chief dean of Baiyunxing Art Academy.”
Everyone: "!!!"
"Holy crap, is that powerful?"
Mu Tao's eyes widened suddenly, and she said in disbelief, "Such a high-ranking dean actually came to participate in the Star Expo and even came to buy things in person?"
"Where's the deputy? Where's the security? Are they really not afraid of being robbed?"
"Are you out of your mind because you were hit by a meteorite? What kind of space pirates would come from this place?"
It's not like they're tired of living. The Star Expo's geographical location was never favored by space pirates. When the Star Expo opened, the Interstellar Army sent two army groups to patrol and escort the surrounding area.
In this situation, even the members of the first space pirate group, the Kraft Empire, wouldn't dare to make any rash moves.
but--
"Did the Dean create such a strange and enormous overview diagram for the art academy's triennial art exhibition?"
How would they know that?
As the dean of the top art academy in Moykaz, they couldn't quite fathom this big shot's thought process.
"The art exhibition is not yet scheduled. There is still a full year and a half until the next art exhibition. It is far too early to order exhibits now."
Seeing that they couldn't figure it out no matter how much they guessed, Sang Ning couldn't help but say, "Why don't we just ask Louis when he gets back?"
"Alright!"
However, that didn't work, because Louis returned alone.
The dean left alone.
Sanning, "???"
Sang Ning was dumbfounded. Holy crap, what's going on?
The dean has left; what am I going to do with her knitting inventory?
"What happened?"
She asked urgently, "Why did the Dean leave?"
"Here's what happened. I had a chat with the Dean, and you'd never guess what we talked about. Let me tell you, the Dean is truly a real artist; his ideas..."
"Let's get straight to the point."
Luo Tianya interrupted him and retorted, "Who wants to listen to your long-winded, rambling narrative, like an old lady's foot binding cloth?"
As he spoke, he asked Sang Ning, "I still don't understand what the old lady has to do with foot bindings. What kind of magical thing are foot bindings?"
Sang Ningpo was somewhat at a loss for words. He had asked this question many times already, and he felt that if he didn't explain the origin of foot binding to him clearly, he would bother him again in the future.
To keep herself quiet, Sang Ning decided to tell him the truth.
"I'll explain it to you on the way back."
Luo Tianya gave an "oh," indicating his satisfaction.
Louis sighed, "You're only good to Big Tooth."
Sang Ning wanted to hit someone, and was about to retort when this person immediately said, "Do you still want to know the important matter?"
"Yes, tell me quickly."
So Louis succinctly explained why the Dean had left.
Upon learning what had happened, Sang Ning felt like she was about to die.
She said incredulously, "I had such a big deal, and I asked you to negotiate it for me, and you ended up losing the deal. Do you think that's fair, Louis?"
Louis retorted confidently, "You can't even make this up."
“I can introduce him to fine processing without any problem.”
"!!!"
That makes a lot of sense. I can't do it, but others can. It's perfectly reasonable to introduce it to others.
But her knitted items...
Glancing at the woven products on the display stand that hadn't sold many orders, Sang Ning sighed, "That's fine, everyone's gone."
At this point, she asked curiously, "What exactly does the Dean want that thing for?"
Louis's lips twitched, and he said speechlessly, "He's planning to put that thing, which can barely be called a work of art, at the entrance of the art academy as the school's mascot."
Sang Ning and the others exclaimed, "!!!"
Very well, they really can't understand the thought process of artists.
Is something so enormous, grotesque, and oddly colored placed at the school gate meant to ward off evil spirits or just give students a psychological trauma?
For a moment, everyone was unsure whether to envy the art school students for having such a unique dean.
They should still pity them for having such a terrible dean.
Looking at that stuff for too long can really cause psychological problems.
Monet nudged Louis with her elbow, "Didn't you try to persuade the Dean?"
