Chapter 167 Dream 2
Ye Rou followed the sound and went upstairs. The door of a room was half open. Judging from the sound, it was this room.
She carefully pushed open the door and saw a man sitting on the ground in front of the glass window. There was a broken cup next to him. His clothes were wet and dripping with water. There were no curtains in the room. The pale moonlight illuminated the man. He had his head lowered, and his long hair to his shoulders was slightly loose.
Hearing the sound, the man looked up.
When Ye Rou saw the man's face, she was stunned. He was very handsome.
His facial features are deep and his eyebrows and eyes are delicate, but his expression is gloomy and he is surrounded by sedimentation and decadence, like a broken marble sculpture in an art gallery, cold and inanimate.
"Hello." Ye Rou greeted him stutteringly.
The man ignored her and tried to climb onto the bed with his arms, but his legs seemed to have no strength and he failed several times. The last time, his hand was stuck in the broken glass and blood flowed out, but he seemed not to feel the pain.
Ye Rou ignored her aunt's warning and hurried forward, picked him up and placed him on the bed.
As if startled by her action, the man's eyebrows moved slightly.
Ye Rou was also surprised by her strength. She put the man down and looked at her hand in surprise. She just thought that her original body was strong and did not think about it too much.
Seeing the man's hand still bleeding from the glass shard, she asked softly, "Is there a first aid kit?"
The man ignored her and roughly pulled out the glass, causing blood to splatter everywhere. He casually threw the glass away with his hand.
Ye Rou was startled by his actions and subconsciously wanted to take out the gold needle to stop his bleeding.
Her hand touched nothing and she was stunned for a moment before she realized that she had studied Western medicine, so where did the golden needle come from?
"Get out." The man's voice was dry and hoarse.
Ye Rou pursed her lips slightly. The smell of blood became stronger and stronger. Looking at the man's wound that was bleeding profusely, she not only did not leave, but instead stepped forward, tore the bed sheet into long strips, and tied it around the man's wound to stop the bleeding.
The man pushed her away and said coldly, "Don't you understand what I'm saying? I told you to get out!"
Seeing that he was not cooperating, Ye Rou subconsciously swung her hand and hit the man's neck.
The man collapsed on the bed.
Ye Rou was shocked by her own actions just now.
But now was not the time to think about these things. She stopped the man's bleeding, found the medicine box with her excellent sense of smell, disinfected the wound, applied anti-inflammatory powder, and then wrapped it with clean gauze. After doing all this, she stood up, looked at the bow tied on the man's slender hand, and nodded with satisfaction.
She changed the bloodstained sheets, but couldn't find anywhere to hide them, so she just stuffed them all under the bed.
She swept up the broken glass and put it back into the medicine box, making sure nothing was left behind before going downstairs to her room.
Early in the morning, I heard loud laughter outside.
Ye Rou sat up and yawned repeatedly because she was so sleepy. Her aunt snored in her sleep, and it was the familiar electric drill-like snoring. She didn't sleep well all night.
"Very familiar." Ye Rou paused with her hand that was grabbing her hair. Why did she feel like she had heard the snoring sound like an electric drill somewhere before?
She couldn't remember, and hearing her aunt's laughter getting louder and louder outside, she simply got up and went out.
"Who is this girl?" The aunt who was chatting with her aunt asked hurriedly when she saw Ye Rou's eyes light up.
The little aunt smiled and said, "My niece is staying here for two days."
"Xiao Rou, say hello to your Aunt Yue."
Ye Rou stepped forward and said with a smile, "Hello, Aunt Yue."
"Okay, this girl is really pretty." Aunt Yue circled around Ye Rou twice, and asked with a warm smile, "You don't have a partner yet, right?"
"No." Ye Rou felt uncomfortable being looked at and answered dryly.
Aunt Yue nodded repeatedly, and then looked at her aunt with an extremely enthusiastic look, "Let's go, we are short of one, let's go for a round."
The little aunt was tempted, but she glanced upstairs and shook her head: "No, I have to take food to that cripple."
"He won't starve to death if he doesn't eat a meal." Aunt Yue pulled my aunt to go outside.
The little aunt was a little hesitant, but she couldn't resist Aunt Yue's enthusiasm, so she followed her out. Before leaving, she told Ye Rou, "The kitchen left some buns for you."
"I understand." Ye Rou nodded.
After the two people left, Ye Rou looked upstairs, touched her starving stomach, and went into the kitchen first.
The buns were placed on the steamer. Ye Rou picked one up and took a bite. Her mouth was full of meat oil, so greasy that she couldn't chew it at all.
"We should add some cabbage to reduce the greasiness, and green onions as well..." Ye Rou was stunned when she said this. When did she learn to cook?
She scratched her hair and looked at the buns in her hand, and recipes for buns popped out of her head like a flood.
Ye Rou couldn't figure it out, but then she thought, since her original body could cook, she could too.
Giving this explanation reluctantly, she remembered that her aunt had said that she had not yet delivered food to the people upstairs. After hesitating for a moment, she turned on the fire and cooked some refreshing vegetable porridge again. She cut a cabbage into the remaining meat filling of her aunt and rolled out the dough again to make dumplings.
It was quiet upstairs.
Ye Rou opened the door, walked in with the food, and then closed the door.
The man had woken up. He looked up at her, his eyes calm and composed, like a pool of stagnant water.
When Ye Rou saw the man's appearance, she felt a little sad for some reason.
She suppressed the emotion and placed her plate on the table.
Sensing the man's resistance, Ye Rou pretended not to feel it and reached out to help him sit up against the headboard. Afraid that he would feel sore from sitting for too long, she placed a pillow behind him.
Ye Rou picked up the bowl and saw that his right hand was wrapped in gauze. She subconsciously used a spoon to scoop porridge to the man's mouth.
As soon as this action was made, Ye Rou was stunned after she realized what was happening.
The man looked at her scrutinizingly.
Ye Rou was surprised by her own familiarity. Under the man's gaze, her face flushed with embarrassment. She explained dryly, "I'm used to feeding children, haha."
She handed the bowl to the man's left hand, asked him to take it, and then took a step back.
The man's eyes were calm as he glanced at Ye Rou who lowered her head. He held the bowl awkwardly in his right hand and scooped porridge one spoonful at a time with his left hand.
As soon as the rice porridge entered his mouth, he was stunned for a moment, and then he ate more eagerly.
Seeing that he was busy drinking porridge and had no hands free to eat the buns, Ye Rou hesitated for a moment, then picked up a bun and handed it to his mouth.
The man glanced at her, his eyes deep and emotionless.
Ye Rou couldn't tell what he was thinking, so she simply stopped thinking about it. Her arms felt a little sore from holding it for so long, so she said in a coquettish tone, "Eat it quickly."
Her voice was soft and she was even more beautiful. Her fingertips were right in front of Jiang Chen, with a hint of pink on them. He lowered his eyes and bit the bun.
Seeing him eating, a smile unconsciously appeared on Ye Rou's lips.
She was tired of standing, so she sat down beside the bed in a familiar manner.
The man just looked at her and didn't tell her to get lost like he did last night.
Ye Rou was like a kitten constantly testing the man's bottom line, and the man retreated again and again.
After dinner, Ye Rou collected the plate and walked out under the man's gaze.
The room became quiet again. Jiang Chen lowered his eyes and looked at the bow tied on his right hand. He shook his wrist lightly, and the bow trembled slightly.
Just when Jiang Chen thought she would not come again, she came up again, holding a bowl of soup and said with a smile, "Drink it quickly."
Her eyes were sparkling and her fox eyes were slightly raised. Although she looked seductive, she looked particularly pure and innocent.
Jiang Chen looked into her eyes, without reaching out to take the bowl of soup, and naturally took a sip from the edge of the bowl.
