Chapter 7 Partial Grandma
The next morning, the door of the room was opened. Zhao Xiulan walked into the room with a stick, covering her nose. Seeing Ye Rou sleeping soundly, she did not go over to wake her up with the stick.
Ye Rou opened her eyes and sat up in a daze.
The two looked at each other and waited for a while. When Ye Rou didn't cough or spit blood, Zhao Xiulan's face changed and she shouted sternly: "Get up and work!"
She turned and walked out with some doubt in her eyes.
How come her granddaughter's breasts have become so big?
Ye Rou was suddenly woken up and couldn't sleep anymore. She wrapped it around her chest and put on her clothes.
When Zhang Lan saw her coming out of the house, her expression changed. Then she saw that her face was rosy and she was not coughing up blood, so she breathed a sigh of relief.
Thinking of the money that she had earned and then lost, Zhang Lan stared at Ye Rou's back with a resentful look.
Zhao Xiulan finished cooking and shouted loudly, "It's time to eat."
The Ye family members all breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Ye Rou was fine.
Zhang Lan and Ye Hai looked at each other and continued to find a marriage for Ye Rou.
There was an extra sweet potato for breakfast today, but there was still only one mouthful of corn porridge in front of her. Ye Rou took the sweet potato and ate it.
Ye Yaozu's hair was combed straight as if it was greased with oil. He had no posture when eating, leaning his body, smacking his lips, and slurping the rice porridge.
Seeing that his eating had affected his appetite, Ye Rou looked away, ate the sweet potato in her hand and wanted to take another one.
“Bang!”
With a crisp sound, the chopsticks hit Ye Rou's back of the hand, leaving two red marks.
Ye Rou withdrew her hand in pain.
Zhao Xiulan moved the sweet potato away from Ye Rou and said unhappily, "You, a girl, don't need to eat so much!"
Ye Rou argued, "I only ate one."
"That's enough." Zhao Xiulan despised Ye Rou's dullness the most. Thinking of the unsettled marriage with the Li family, the more she looked at her, the more annoying she became. "Stop eating. Go to the fields with your father and earn work points."
Ye Rou put down her chopsticks and saw that Ye Wen and Ye Yaozu were not moving: "Don't they need to get off the ground?"
Zhang Lan interrupted with a smile, "Your brother is too weak to get out of bed."
Ye Rou pointed at Ye Wen, "What about her?"
Ye Wen frowned, "I won't go downstairs."
"Your sister can't be exposed to the sun, it will turn dark." Zhang Lan said with a smile: "Xiao Rou, as an older sister, you should take care of your younger siblings. Thank you for your hard work."
Ye Rou suddenly asked: "Why?"
Zhang Lan was surprised: "What did you say?"
Ye Rou stared into her eyes. "Why should an older sister take care of her younger siblings? Did you give birth to them for me?"
Zhang Lan said innocently, "Xiao Rou, you misunderstood me."
Ye Rou looked at her coldly: "What do you mean?"
Zhang Lan said aggrievedly and bewilderedly, "Xiao Rou, what's wrong with you?"
Ye Wen glared at Ye Rou: "If you want to be lazy and not work, just say it directly, don't get angry at my mother!"
Ye Yaozu said sarcastically, "I think she just has a grudge against Mom and is acting this way on purpose!"
Ye Rou looked at the people at the table with a cold expression: "I just want to know why I am the only one who needs to go to the fields to earn work points?"
“Pah.”
Zhao Xiulan threw down her chopsticks and snapped, "You still feel wronged? What's wrong with asking you to work? You don't earn any work points, and you still want to eat and drink for free at home!"
Ye Rou pointed at Ye Yaozu and Ye Wen: "I eat and drink for free? What about them?"

Ye Hai interrupted Zhao Xiulan before she could finish her words, "Enough! You can't even have a meal in peace."
"You two should go to the fields and earn work points." He looked at Ye Rou with disgust. "Are you satisfied now?"
After the quarrel, you come out to act as a peacemaker.

Ye Rou was speechless, grabbed a sweet potato and ran away.
“Put down the sweet potatoes!”
She ran out the door and could still hear Zhao Xiulan's roar behind her.

Ye Rou followed the workers out of the village. In front of her were light green fields and in the distance were emerald green mountains. The scenery was so beautiful that it made people's heart tremble.
Such a beautiful scene made Ye Rou smile unconsciously.
The team leader assigned work to each person according to the plots of land. Ye Rou took a sickle to cut weeds. Everyone she met along the way was discussing what happened last night.
"Zhao Wanke is so shameless. A high school student is hanging out with men in the woods. If I were her, I would just kill myself rather than lose my whole family."
"I heard that educated youth wasn't even wearing pants when he was caught."
"Oh, I went to bed too early last night and didn't see anything!"
