Chapter 112 He was deadly, powerful, and seemingly...

Sure enough, the maids led me through several palace gates to the main entrance of this small palace. The Elf King was waiting for me in a golden carriage, surrounded by long lines of soldiers. Interspersed among the soldiers were dozens of gray or white carriages, and hundreds of servants carrying boxes or bundles stood outside the carriages, clearly indicating that they were going on a long journey.

After getting in the car, I sat opposite him, hesitated for a moment, and asked, "Are we planning to leave the island?"

He nodded slightly.

I thought for a moment, then asked anyway, "I heard you kidnapped some of my companions, is that true? Did they come with us?"

He looked at me with a half-smile, his tone somewhat teasing, "If you hadn't used the formal 'you,' I might have told you."

“You might feel I betrayed you,” I said, mustering my courage, “but they didn’t provoke you, so why are you arresting them?”

He curled his lips into a smile that was neither affirmative nor negative.

Seeing that he didn't answer, I couldn't help but ask, "Why?"

He then slowly and casually replied, "They have their uses."

An hour later, we boarded a beautifully decorated red ocean-going ship. With the sails hoisted and a favorable wind blowing, the ship quickly sailed far away from the island.

I wrapped my hooded long coat tighter around myself and sat on the deck in a corner of the ship, watching the islands recede into the distance.

To be honest, I didn't even get a good look at what the island looked like before I was taken away.

The sea breeze was getting stronger, and the maidservants invited me back to my cabin several times, but I refused. It was a rare moment of peace and quiet without being watched, a time to be alone, and I didn't want to go back to my room.

After a while, a tall figure blocked my way. "If you don't go back, I'll have to carry you back."

I reluctantly stood up and followed the newly appeared Elf King, walking slowly.

But after walking a few steps, a tall guard carrying a seagull saluted and reported: "Your Majesty, Prince Bernot has sent word that he is on the island ahead. We can arrive tonight. He would like to invite you to his trade banquet, where envoys from several other countries will also be present."

Standing behind the Elf King, I couldn't see his expression, but he didn't respond at all.

Suddenly he turned to look at me and asked, "Do you want to participate?"

I immediately shook my head like a rattle-drum.

He chuckled as he fiddled with the letter he'd just taken from the guard. "He's after you, isn't he? Too bad you can't forgive him. After serving more than four years in prison, anyone would be filled with hatred."

I was shocked. How did he know everything?

That evening, the ship did indeed dock at an island, but I didn't go ashore. I wasn't going to see any Prince Benott, so I washed up and went to bed early.

The next day, I woke up early as well. In the dim light of dawn, I sat at the bow of the boat, silently counting the seagulls flying overhead.

Suddenly my gaze froze.

Following my line of sight, I could see a tall figure, his hooded long coat fluttering in the sea breeze, the hood blown off, revealing his long silver hair disheveled.

“Bernot?” I stood up in surprise.

In the distance, his exquisite and alluring face was faintly visible in the morning light.

He suddenly stretched out his hands, and a gray seagull quickly flew out, heading straight towards me. I was stunned. Seeing the seagull about to reach me, I quickly took two steps back. Just then, a slender hand reached out and grabbed the seagull. It was a maid who smiled sheepishly at me and said, "You've been startled. Seagulls sometimes just fly around randomly."

I saw a small note tied to the seagull's claw. It didn't say anything, just turned and left.

I don't care what he writes, I'm not interested.

As dawn broke, the ship continued its voyage. I didn't know when we would reach the Fairy Realm, nor did I ask anything. I remained alone at the bow, quietly watching the rolling seawater and the occasional small shark spouting water.

"Do you want to know what's written on the note?" The Elf King's deep, magnetic voice came into my ear.

"Do you think I want to know?" I asked him in return.

He smiled and crushed a note in his hand to shreds. "Looks like none of us want to know."

Half a month later, the ship entered a familiar and treacherous gorge. Two bare-chested giants, taller than the cliffs themselves, emerged from the seabed, each clinging to a cliff face and uprooting it. A rapidly spinning whirlpool appeared, and our ship was uncontrollably pulled into it. Before I could even scream, the icy seawater enveloped me, causing me to lose consciousness briefly. Half a minute later, the ship surfaced.

Unlike last time, my ears and neck weren't completely soaked, and my hair wasn't dripping like rain. This time, I wore a thick waterproof jacket, and apart from a little water on my hair, the rest of my body didn't get wet at all.

Immediately afterwards, the ship entered an ice-green sea covered with towering green plants, then sailed into a crimson sea. The ship then sank and entered a dark underwater tunnel, and then sped forward.

After emerging from the underwater tunnel, the ship entered another blue sea. Not far ahead, a very familiar and magnificent island appeared, with long-tailed birds of various colors calling and circling above it.

I stood at the very top of the bow, unable to believe that I had once again entered this elven realm.

I originally thought I would never come back.

I rode in a golden carriage drawn by eight white horses, passed through a vast, deep green forest, entered a lake-bottom tunnel, flew out of the snow-capped mountains, and flew over large green lawns, lakes, and forests before finally arriving at the black domed castle on a light gray mountain.

It was a long journey. When the Elf King, dressed in a snow-white hooded robe, helped me down from the carriage, I had just woken up from a short nap.

A large group of people came to greet me, which startled me. I quickly covered my mouth to stop myself from yawning.

The young queen, dressed in magnificent attire, knelt at the front of the procession, accompanied by a group of maids.

I subtly took two steps back, but as the Elf King walked forward, he grabbed me again, and I deliberately slowed down by a step or two.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries between the Elf King and Queen, the Queen stood up, covered her mouth with her hand, and smiled at me, saying, "I knew you would return to the King's side."

I didn't know how to respond for a moment.

The Elf King smiled and pulled me forward, while the Queen walked on his other side.

I was given a magnificent and exquisite room, and because I was so tired, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. At midnight, I woke up and saw the Elf King sleeping naked in an armchair.

He woke up as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Why don't you sleep in your queen's room?" I lowered the crimson bed curtains to avoid seeing his snow-white, gleaming body.

"What do you think?" he asked me in return.

“You two are reunited as a couple, so you should at least give the woman some face,” I said.

“If I give her face, I won’t give you face.” He suddenly pulled back the bed curtains, and I shrank back a few times in fright. He then climbed onto my bed and sat next to me against the headboard.

"I don't care about saving face." I tried to shrink back a bit, avoiding looking at his beautiful, strong, naked body.

In the dimly lit bed, his incredibly deep golden eyes were like a deep abyss, concealing a love and desire I couldn't understand.

“I want to give it to you.” His voice was beautiful yet slightly husky.

"Really, there's no need to... save face."

He had already kissed me, and I was speechless.

It covered my lips, pried open my teeth with its tongue, like a storm raging through my mouth, and my breathing became heavy.

He bit my neck again, like a feline predator holding my throat—deadly, powerful, and capable of biting me off at any moment.

That dark, deadly allure, like a black dahlia, carries the connotation of death yet is incredibly captivating.

You want to resist desperately, but you end up surrendering.

I gasped for breath, murmuring softly, like a fish out of water, wanting to push away but having no strength at all.

Finally, he let go of me, allowing me to breathe freely.

My neck is still tingly and slightly sore, like ants gently crawling on it, and there's also a...pleasure. An irresistible pleasure, the inexplicable pleasure after being kissed and nibbled.

Damn, where did this Elf King learn such skills?! It's so addictive—you want to do it again.

I glanced at him secretly, and he was smiling and watching me.

It turns out that he developed this skill when he was paralyzed.

If the bottom doesn't work, the top will.

When puberty arrives, those burgeoning hormones always need a place to be released.

I can't face the Elf King now, and I can't utter a single word to him. I rolled myself up in the thin blanket and buried myself inside.

The Elf King fell asleep next to me, and I didn't dare to speak, afraid that if I did, he would bite my neck again.

——

As the first rays of morning sunlight streamed in, I was awakened by my maid.

I wanted to sleep, but the maid whispered gently in my ear, "This morning the king wants to have breakfast with the queen and the ladies, and he specifically instructed me to wake you up early."

I was slightly startled and opened my eyes.

The Elf King is long gone, but the side where he slept is noticeably wrinkled.

After quickly washing and dressing up, and changing into a gorgeous dress, I arrived at a luxurious columned restaurant with marble walls, cedar beams inlaid with gold and silver ornaments, and a dozen gold lamps hanging on the walls, glittering and sparkling.

An elegant white dining table is placed on the steps, and you have to climb five or six steps to get to the table.

I had never been to this restaurant before when I was a head waitress, and I was stunned by its luxurious atmosphere. I almost tripped and fell while going up the stairs.

Three or four elegantly dressed ladies covered their mouths and chuckled, but when they saw the Elf King's cold face in his snow-white robe, they all stopped laughing.

The queen smiled gently, the golden cup in her hand reflecting the morning sun.

I sat there without moving, facing a table full of lightly cooked food.

There were slices of apples, pears, kiwis, and some other fruits I couldn't name, a basket of beautiful red strawberries and blueberries, smooth white bread, fragrant oatmeal, potato pancakes, boiled eggs, various colored jams, butter, cheese, and so on, but I didn't touch them.

Several ladies looked at me curiously; their young and beautiful faces clearly indicated that they were the Elf King's mistresses.

I think I've seen two of them before.

"What do you like to eat?" the Elf King asked me gently.

"I don't like the food here, I'm sorry," I replied slowly.

"What do you like to eat? I'll have someone bring it back from the main continent," the Elf King said with a gentle smile.

“No need…” I was about to say that I wouldn’t be staying here for long when the youngest-looking lady couldn’t help but speak up, “Didn’t you eat well when you were a maid?” Seeing that I didn’t respond, she added, “How come you’ve become so arrogant now that you’re a mistress?”

The Elf King put down his juice glass, and the youngest wife immediately fell silent, her face turning pale.
