Chapter 150 A burning, scalding arm embraced...

I stood there stunned, but Manboya reacted quickly, pulled me forward, and without giving my cousin a second glance, strode straight into the exquisite and luxurious dining room.

At the entrance to the dining room, a tall, slender silver figure stood coldly.

Before I could react, a heavy fist swung towards Manberia beside me. The force of the fist hit my face, and I felt the pain. Manberia reacted quickly and threw a punch as well, aiming it at the silver figure flying towards him. He was originally going to hit the head, but the figure dodged and the punch only hit the shoulder.

I exclaimed in surprise, and my cousin, who had been following behind me, quickly pulled me to the side.

The two figures clashed fiercely. The silver figure gained the upper hand, knocking the silver-blue figure down several times. Finally, the silver figure recovered and began to fight back fiercely. The silver-blue figure was knocked down once, but quickly regained the upper hand, pinning the silver figure against the wall and beating it mercilessly. The silver figure countered fiercely with punches and kicks, forcing the silver-blue figure back several steps.

The two figures fought more and more fiercely, until it was impossible to see who was winning or losing. All they could feel was two gusts of wind whistling past their ears. The patrolmen were alarmed and rushed over with their weapons, surrounding the area tightly. However, at the cousin's prompting, they did not dare to make any rash moves.

The two figures fought for another ten minutes or so before finally being separated by the pulling of two patrol officers.

Manberia's injuries were more severe. His left cheek was swollen, his eyes were surrounded by dark circles, his hair was a mess, and his neck and arms were bleeding profusely, making him look horrific.

Bernard was also injured, but slightly better than Mamboya; he only bled a little from his neck and arms, with no damage to his face. I remember he was extremely protective of his appearance, and he must have fought desperately to protect his face.

Bernard looked at me and was about to walk towards me when a group of guards suddenly surrounded me.

Bernard looked at Mamboy with a cold smile, "Let's talk."

“There’s nothing to talk about,” Manberia wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. “No matter what conditions you offer, you can’t take her away.”

“We haven’t talked yet,” Bernard said with extreme elegance, a stark contrast to his earlier menacing demeanor. “Let’s talk first.”

Manberia walked up to me and said, "I've already said, there's nothing to talk about."

Bernard gave a cold laugh. "Then, we'll talk tomorrow." He glanced at me and softened his tone. "Don't worry, I'm fine."

I leaned against the wall, not saying a word. Manboya moved closer to me, his lips almost touching my ear, and said tenderly, "I'm fine, but you still have to take care of me."

Five or six minutes later, we were seated in the exquisite and luxurious dining room.

Stepping onto the black and white mosaic floor, leaning against the soft backrest of the dining chair, and gazing at the steaming dishes before me—such as seafood soup, mussels in onion and white wine sauce, grilled fish with vegetables, tuna steak, and baked mashed potatoes—I could have easily enjoyed a comfortable dinner, but I just couldn't muster any appetite.

Mamboya elegantly spread blueberry jam on a piece of toasted bread that was slightly golden brown and held it to my lips. "If you don't eat it, I'll feed you with my mouth," he threatened "fiercely."

I glared at him, but took the food and ate it slowly, because I knew he would keep his word.

After finishing two slices of toast, then eating grilled fish, a fruit and vegetable salad, and mashed potatoes, and drinking a bowl of seafood soup, he finally showed a satisfied look.

I asked, "Are you full?"

He chuckled and said, "What do you think?"

I turned my head away and ignored him.

He still grinned and said, "I've prepared the medicine to reduce swelling and bruising. Apply it to me in a bit."

Me: "You should summon the female healer yourself."

He laughed even more smugly, "I don't want female doctors. They're all lewd women. I'm afraid they'll try to take advantage of me."

Me: "You're scared?"

He looked pitiful. "I'm scared. They touched me inappropriately. It's not a big deal, so it's not easy to punish them. If I punish them lightly, they won't feel anything. If I punish them wrongly, people will scold me."

I said sarcastically, "Then you're really in a difficult position. What are you going to do?"

He approached him with a warm smile, saying, "That's why I need your help."

I pushed him away and walked out of the dining room. "I'm not helping."

He glared at me angrily, "Fine, don't help me then. If you don't help me, I'll just bleed to death."

I still ignored him.

He didn't bleed much, how could he have bled to death?

But when I sat down in the room and saw his bleeding arm, which he had deliberately shown me, I couldn't help but feel a chill. "He was fine in the dining room just now, how come it's bleeding again?"

“It’s been leaking all along,” he said, looking at me pitifully. “I just didn’t dare show it to you because I was afraid it would affect your dinner. I just wrapped it up haphazardly with some cotton cloth.”

I didn't want to pay attention to him, but he deliberately stretched his arm closer to me, and I couldn't bear to see the wound bleeding, so in the end I bandaged it for him.

He looked at me with a sweet smile, like he was looking at his first love.

I almost couldn't finish bandaging it several times, but I forced myself to keep going until I was done.

Then, he grabbed the stick used to pull out the firewood from the fireplace and chased him out.

——

I slept soundly through the night, and when I woke up, I saw snow falling all around me. The curtains were open last night, and countless snowflakes danced outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows—the snow scene was absolutely beautiful!

I stood barefoot by the window for a long time until a hot, burning arm wrapped around me from behind.

I was startled and turned around to see Manberia shirtless, wearing only a pair of pajama pants. His long, silver-blue hair fell down to his chest, slightly disheveled, and he looked like he had just woken up.

"How did you get in?" I felt a little uncomfortable being pressed against his burning chest.

“This is my room,” he said innocently. “Where else would I be if not here?”

"Where is my room?"

“Yours is here too, we’re husband and wife.” He said, and then bit me hard on the face—a bite, not a kiss—which made me cry out in pain.

"I'll make you suffer," he said viciously. "Who told you to always bully me, taking advantage of my feelings for you, and deliberately making me sad and upset?"

I covered my face and said angrily, "Who bullied you! Don't talk nonsense!"

"You're bullying me!" he said angrily like a child, then suddenly kissed the spot where he had just bitten hard. "It doesn't hurt anymore, right? My saliva will heal it."

I stomped on his foot and kicked him in the groin. Taking advantage of his momentary lapse in attention, he clutched his groin and cried out in pain, "You did that again! Ouch, that hurts so much!"

"If you keep being this annoying, I'll kick you to death!" I yelled.

He pitifully covered his genitals, saying, "You're bad, you're absolutely wicked!"

I turned around, ready to go to the changing room, but before I knew it, he pulled me into his arms again. "Quick, give me a pat and a kiss, or I'll never be healed from your kicks."

"You're talking nonsense..." Before I could finish speaking, he kissed my lips hard, so hard that I kept backing away until I was pinned against the wall.

He rubbed against me, kissed me, and thrust into me forcefully, pinning me to the wall so I couldn't move.

I could feel the change in his male body; his face turned bright red, and I tried to shake him off but couldn't.

His kiss was fierce and increasingly forceful, engulfing my entire lips and making my whole body feel as if it were being swallowed up.

His hand reached into my dress, about to tear it off, when a maid's urgent voice came from outside the door: "Your Highness, Madam, Madam has become agitated again, and the doctors and maids can't hold her back."

The messy inner corridor was littered with clothes, vases, dolls, necklaces, bracelets and other items.

A short, disheveled woman frantically threw things out of the room, and the doctors and maids scattered like birds, not daring to approach.

As for the guards, they watched from afar, fearing her noble status and daring not to make a move easily.

She threw the objects while laughing, occasionally hitting a few maids, and then jumping and clapping with joy.

At the height of her joy, a gentle and playful voice rang out, "My dear wife, what makes you so happy?"

Upon seeing the handsome man in the magnificent dark blue robe, she cheered, dropped what she was holding, and rushed over, burying herself directly in his arms.

“I…I miss you,” the short woman cried.

"I missed you too." He gently stroked her messy long hair.

"You haven't come to see me in so long," the short lady said, almost crying with grievance.

"Here I am, aren't I?" He smiled gently.

"You're so handsome!" The short lady stared at him intently.

"Cousin!" A melodious voice, like the tinkling of a silver bell, came from the other side. The young cousin from last night, wearing a snow-white scarf and a ruby forehead ornament, came over carrying a food box and squatted down in front of the petite lady. "Are you hungry? I brought your favorite cookies. Shall we go inside and eat them now?"

The little lady's eyes lit up. "We've got cookies! Great!" She was as excited as a child, and she excitedly pulled her cousin's hand and rushed into the room.

As they passed by Manberia, the cousin and Manberia exchanged a glance and nodded slightly in perfect unison.

My cousin smiled slightly, while Manberia's eyes showed a hint of gratitude.

I stood not far away, among the maids, and saw all of this clearly.

As Mamboy walked up to me and took my hand, I exclaimed, "Your family situation is so complicated."

With a manic, mentally challenged wife, an incredibly intelligent cousin, and a whole host of mistresses, I suddenly feel a little dizzy.

Manberia, however, linked her arm with mine and said with a grin, "What are you afraid of? You're so smart, you're sure you can handle it."

It was deep winter in the North, and it snowed every day, with large snowflakes falling from the sky and covering the ground with a thick layer of white.

When there's no wind, I go for a walk in the garden. It's fun to walk on the snow and leave a footprint with each step.

Since that day, I have never seen my short wife and her cousin again, nor have I seen Bernard; they all seemed to have vanished overnight.

Of course, they couldn't have disappeared; someone must have deliberately made it so I couldn't see them.

Life suddenly calmed down, and I felt a strange quiet.

That day, as I was taking a stroll, I unknowingly walked to the front of a vermilion palace. It looked somewhat familiar, and then I suddenly remembered that this was the room where I had smashed open the fireplace years ago.

I quickened my pace, rushed upstairs, and ran to the front of the room, my heart pounding.
