Chapter 186 "I love you, I will always love you..."

Chapter 186 "I love you, I will always love you..."

Several carriages pulled up, and the ladies said their goodbyes and boarded. I approached Bluebeard. "Do you remember me?"

"Excuse me, whose lady are you?" Bluebeard replied politely, just as he had years ago.

“After leaving your jewelry store, I was robbed. Someone suggested that you might have done it. You took a liking to my jewelry and knew that I had no relatives or friends, so you hired some thugs to beat me up and steal all my jewelry, almost leaving me homeless.”

"Madam, I sympathize with your plight. Did you seek help from the guards at the time?"

"I searched, but it was no use. You guys are probably in cahoots."

"I'm sorry, madam, I really don't know you."

“I couldn’t do anything to you back then, and it seems I can’t do anything to you now either, but I will definitely take back what’s mine.”

Bluebeard laughed and said nothing more, but the contempt and mockery in his smile seemed to say, "Stop talking nonsense."

I turned to leave, but then I sensed something and turned back sharply. At the same time, I heard the screams of the noblewomen who had just boarded the carriage. A gleaming sword was pressed against Bluebeard's neck. I cried out, "Wait!"

With a whoosh, the sword moved up a few inches, shaving off all of Bluebeard's beard. Then, with a flash of cold light, Bluebeard's hair was completely shaved off.

Bluebeard screamed and collapsed to the ground, cowering in fear. The faint smell of urine emanated from under his robes, and his previous dignity and arrogance vanished completely.

I stared in horror at Bernard, who had appeared beside me at some unknown time. He was dressed in a magnificent black robe, with most of his face covered by a black hood, like a "black god." His deep blue eyes shone with a cold, piercing light, which was the only source of light.

Beside Bluebeard stood a tall, burly guard, the sword he had just sheathed gleaming with a cold, murderous light.

The ladies came to their senses and hurriedly told their drivers to leave quickly. Before long, all the carriages that had been parked by the roadside had fled.

"Where are you going? I'll take you." Bernard's gentle voice was completely at odds with his murderous aura.

"No, I'll go by myself." I was still in shock. "Don't kill anyone, I'll handle it myself."

"How do you handle this? He's incredibly fierce in front of me, but a complete coward in front of strangers."

"It's none of your business."

I left quickly, walking fast, almost running, against the slightly chilly night wind. Two patrols passed by me, questioning several civilians returning home late. I exchanged a glance with one of the guards, who shouted and walked towards me, then suddenly stopped, shrinking back. I looked behind me and saw a black carriage faintly visible in the thick night fog.

Even I could feel a sharp, condescending aura, let alone this guard who often faced all sorts of people.

I continued walking forward, but my pace slowed considerably, and I sighed softly. Perhaps I understood that there was no point in running away; he truly wouldn't let go this time.

A little over an hour later, I rushed into the palace school, which was half burned down. Ruins and ashes littered the ground, and half the walkways had collapsed. To my surprise, several female staff members from the school greeted me shortly after I entered, as if they knew I would come. Aya was at the front, grabbing my arm and pulling me inside. "Sister, are you tired and cold? It gets cold as soon as night falls, and it'll get colder. Let's eat something first."

I was a little dazed as Aya led me into a warm and clean room. The fireplace was burning brightly, as if it had been lit long ago, just waiting for me, the host, to arrive.

The carpet was new, luxurious and soft; the walls were covered with a new layer of gold wallpaper, and the tables and chairs were brand new mahogany. The white tablecloth was exquisite and beautiful, and on the brand new table were a basket of fragrant bread, a plate of sizzling roast meat, a bowl of meat congee with a mouthwatering aroma, and a plate of beautiful fruit slices. I blurted out, "You all knew I would come?"

“Yes, we received Prince Bernard’s order an hour ago, saying that you would be coming back to stay, so we quickly tidied up this room and prepared dinner.” Aya pulled out a chair and gestured for me to sit down. “Sister, have something to eat first.”

I sat down in the soft, reclining chair. "Did you or Prince Bernard purchase these carpets, wallpaper, and chairs? And who paid for this dinner?"

Aya placed a silver spoon in my hand, saying, "Our school is now under Prince Bernard's jurisdiction." The implication was clear: everything was arranged by the prince.

I was taken aback. "Isn't the school owned by a nobleman?" I didn't know which nobleman, and I hadn't asked much before.

“It was Prince Bernard’s an hour ago, and that’s when we received the news.” Aya laughed as she spoke. “Sister, you are now the head of this school, one level above the principal.”

I was stunned.

After dinner, the table was cleaned up, the bed was made up again, and brand new sheets and duvet covers were put on. Even the bed curtains were taken down and replaced with brand new ones.

I had just finished showering and entered the room when I was pulled into a warm embrace that smelled familiar. "You shouldn't be angry with me now, right? It's been two hours." Bernard's strong, muscular arms held me tightly. "Don't you dare run away, or I'll catch you no matter where you go."

"Why are you arresting me? There are plenty of beggars out there." I sneered.

"I only want you, beggar. Everyone else is too smelly. Only you smell so good." He buried his face in my chest, inhaling deeply, looking completely intoxicated.

I couldn't help but laugh again, "Let go, what kind of behavior is this?"

"Like this, I'm so infatuated with you that I don't know what to do."

"What nonsense are you spouting? Let go of me!"

"I won't let go. I've thought about you for so many years, I'm going to hug you to my heart's content tonight."

I mustered all my strength and kicked him hard. He screamed, but then grabbed me and clung to me like a child, shouting defiantly, "Fine, I won't let go! I'm going to fuck you until the world turns upside down!"

I was furious and started punching and kicking him. He groaned and clung to me tightly, refusing to let go, until I yelled, "If you don't let go, I'm leaving. I'll find a chance to slip away and you'll never find me again."

He was startled, afraid that I would really get angry, so he could only let go of my hand and look at me with a wronged expression.

I ignored him, walked quickly to the door, took a step or two and then stopped. Suddenly I turned around, met his eyes, rushed back, and hugged him tightly. I hugged this strong, broad-chested, handsome man, climbed onto his muscular body, panting and biting him: "I should be the one to fuck you until the world turns upside down."

I still vividly remember that earth-shattering thunderstorm.

He pinned me down, he was absolutely frantic, he could barely control his body, he was completely out of control.

We rolled on the carpet, from one side of the room to the other, like burning fireballs, setting fire to wherever we rolled.

The carpet seemed to be on fire, enveloping us and burning fiercely together.

After burning our skin piece by piece, it then burned our eyes.

Our eyes met, and his deep blue eyes seemed to turn crimson, making me burn even more intensely when he looked at me. My attacks became even more frenzied. He endured my assault, laughing wildly, willingly letting me bite every inch of his skin until it bled. As he bit me more wildly, he couldn't help but retaliate, biting my lips, earlobes, and neck until nothing was left intact. I retaliated like a madman, and he kissed me like a madman. We went wild again, this time rolling under the bed, making the space under the bed seem to burst into flames…

And so it spread from here to there, and from there it spread back to here, burning the entire room. The fire was fierce, and no amount of water could extinguish it.

It wasn't until dawn that the saliva on my lips, the sweet words I whispered, and the secret droplets secreted from my body finally managed to extinguish his burning passion.

His body was completely soaked in sweat, clinging tightly to me, above me, reluctant to part, unwilling to separate.

"I love you, I can never love you enough," "I will never leave you," his gentle murmurs, like a dream, lingered in my ear, the most enchanting whispers of love.

The sun was fully up, but he still held me tightly, murmuring for a long time and kissing my face. But I was sleeping very uncomfortable. I tried to push him away several times, but I couldn't move him. In the end, I had to give up and reluctantly changed my position, resting my head on his arm and sleeping on his right side, before I slowly fell asleep.

I woke up in the afternoon, and he was still beside me, his long, muscular, tattooed arm draped over my waist, his whole body pressed against me. I shifted forward slightly, and he followed; I shifted again, and he kept pace, never leaving my side. I laughed out loud, and he rolled over and kissed my laughter away…

I stayed at the palace for more than half a month, and originally planned to stay there indefinitely, because it was more comfortable and offered more freedom than the royal palace. The royal palace was crowded and had many rules; it looked magnificent, but living there was actually very stressful. However, I later changed my mind.

Bernard said that if I stayed outside, he would definitely follow me closely, because the defenses outside were weaker than those in the palace. At first, I didn't think much of it, but later he became so clingy that it was unbearable for me.

He followed me around all day long. Except when I had to push him out of the toilet with all my might, he was almost always with me. When I was at the imperial palace, he was at the imperial palace, and the distance between us was no more than five steps. When I went to the street, he went to the street, and the distance between us was no more than three steps.

Occasionally, when subordinates wanted to report certain confidential information to him, he didn't hide it from me or ask me to leave or anything. I found this strange and asked him, "Don't you have anything to keep secret?"

"Go ahead and betray me if you want," he said lazily, hugging me and nuzzling my long hair. "While you're at it, see which spies are dealing with you."

I was speechless.

I knew I couldn't get rid of him, so in order to gain some freedom, I had to agree to go back to the palace with him, but I got the right to stay at this palace in the suburbs for one night every week.
