Chapter 26 Blind Date "Silly girl, even Cinderella came from a noble family..."

Several hot girls were dancing happily, and as they danced, they stumbled and fell at my feet, their various poses giving me quite a glimpse. I couldn't help but laugh out loud for a moment, until I saw "my" zombie face and then I awkwardly stopped laughing.

An iceberg is forever a mountain.

The hot girls quickly dispersed.

"Which one do you love the most?" I asked in a low voice, curious.

I was just asking, not expecting an answer, but to my surprise, he coldly replied, "The one with the biggest butt."

I found her immediately, because she was the most eye-catching among all the glamorous women. She leaned against a stone pillar in a seductive pose with her buttocks sticking out, and held a brass goblet in her right hand, smiling at me with a bewitching and provocative smile.

My gaze followed her shoulders down to her waistline, where a semi-circular pear shape descended—comparable to the Kardashian-esque big buttocks of an internet celebrity—large yet tasteful, a standard feature of a sultry and cheap woman.

"Wow, it's so beautiful!" I couldn't help but exclaim, and her butt is really big.

"Didn't you see her?" A hint of mockery flashed in his eyes. "But you chased her away."

"Oh, is she Miss Pei'er?" I suddenly remembered. The candlelight was too dim that night, and I was flustered, so I didn't see her face or figure clearly.

“Hmm, you can try again tonight,” he said. “Her ass feels great.”

"I am a woman."

"Women also have the pleasure of playing with other women."

I didn't really want to continue the discussion. "I'm not that open-minded."

"Can't let go?" He sneered. "Then don't blame men for not liking honest women. They're like blocks of wood, they just can't get interested."

I suppressed my anger, "If you like flashy, cheap women, go find some. Don't go around ruining innocent women."

“You don’t even qualify to be a respectable woman.” His voice was chilling. “Your figure is like a washboard. Farmers prefer women who are plump and strong. Someone like you can’t support a family or have children. At most, you can work as a kitchen helper, sweep the floor, or carry manure. Otherwise, your life is meaningless.”

My anger flared up, and I raised my voice: "Having children is a woman's value? Women are all dependent on men to support them?"

The music suddenly stopped, the dancers stopped, and the drunken Tengdi and the others were half-awake, staring at us without daring to breathe.

He turned his face away with a cold smile, neither replying nor refuting, the contempt in his eyes clearly visible.

Even if we switch bodies, he is still him, and I am still me.

He remained proud and aloof, while I remained timid and cowardly.

But I will fight back when I am humiliated.

I was furious. Suddenly, I remembered the scene in romance novels where the male protagonist punishes the female protagonist. I shouted, "Guards, drag this arrogant woman to the dungeon!"

Two guards immediately stepped forward, pulled him up from the soft mat, and were about to take him away. He couldn't believe it, "You..."

"What do you mean, 'you'?" I retorted, pointing at him and shouting at the guards, "Take him away right now!"

"Don't mess with me." He stared at me with eyes that seemed to spit fire.

I ignored him and ordered again in a stern voice, "Take him away immediately."

Watching the furious man being forcibly taken away by the two menacing guards, I felt incredibly satisfied. I finally felt like I was in the role of a king.

But this feeling of pleasure only lasted for five minutes. A guard rushed over and handed me an urgent letter. I opened it and read it quickly. I thought I had misread it, so I handed it to Tengdi, who was sitting behind me.

Tendi's expression turned strange after reading it, and his voice echoed in everyone's ears, "The King has decreed that the Lord will marry Miss Eve, Lord Rosie's adopted sister, next month." He threw the letter on the ground and cursed, "Damn it, a mistress's sister can marry the Lord?"

The generals exclaimed in surprise, "Such a thing has happened!"

The stone hall was in an uproar, filled with curses and insults.

I was stunned. I was to marry a woman? The enemy's sister? Wait, didn't I already have a fiancée, that stuttering girl?

I really wanted to rush to the dungeon and ask that icy handsome man, but I held back—I had just acted like a domineering CEO, and I couldn't let myself be proven wrong so soon.

Two days later, I still had to bite the bullet and release the icy handsome man from the jail, and humbly asked him what to do.

I was anxious, stressed, and listless, but he was full of energy, his brows relaxed, and although he had an icy expression, he looked much more at ease than I did.

"Don't you have a fiancée?" I whispered.

He glanced at me but didn't say anything.

"Hey, say something!" I was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. "Okay, okay, I was wrong before. I shouldn't have locked you up. Tell me what happened?"

He remained silent.

I panicked. "Fine, you're not going to say anything, huh? I...I..." I stammered, not knowing what to say.

"Useless." He uttered three words, looking at me with disdain.

I didn't say anything.

Turning my back, I felt an urge to burst into tears. Why am I still the same as before? Why can't I become someone who can command the wind and rain like the female protagonist in the book after I transmigrated? Why don't I have any cheat codes, intelligent systems, or portable spaces? Novels are all lies.

“The previous engagement was canceled long ago. Now that the new fiancée is coming,” he said behind me, softening his tone slightly, “let’s welcome her.”

"Isn't the wedding next month? Why are you here so early?" I turned back around.

"According to local custom, brides who have never met before can arrive a month in advance to enhance their relationship."

A few days later, the bride arrived as scheduled.

She stood gracefully in the simple stone hall, dressed in a deep red chiffon dress. Though not a top-tier beauty, her flawless skin, bright and clear eyes, and delicate rosy lips all proclaimed the beauty of youth.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for her; she became a victim of political maneuvering at such a young age.

But she didn't need my pity. Standing on the steps below the main seat, she was gazing at me with fascination. "My lord, you are truly exceptionally handsome. I was almost captivated by you and couldn't even bow properly."

"Oh? Okay, thank you."

I found myself struggling to cope, so I quickly made an excuse to leave.

Since then, I've rarely seen my fiancée. Whenever she comes to see me, I try to avoid her. I have no experience dealing with women like her.

But Bernard, as if injected with adrenaline, clung to the man like a true mistress in order to demonstrate her status as "chief".
