Chapter 8 The beautiful silver-haired boy suddenly turned around, and his eyes met mine...
Silence reigned inside the Black Tower ship.
The long-haired woman sitting in the corner was pale and her eyes were filled with fear; the stuttering girl leaning against the large tower window looked anxious and stared intently at the silver-haired boy in the sky; the girls with long braids sat silently in their respective corners, expressionless; the crows gathered at another small tower window, looking up and watching with great interest, as if they were watching a spectacle.
I found a small corner to sit down and closed my eyes to rest.
For now, the only option is to remain unchanged in the face of all changes.
Just as the "black ship" entered the heart of the burning sea, a strange thing suddenly happened.
Flocks of crows cawed and circled inside the "boat," scattering countless black feathers as if a "black rain" were falling.
As the black feathers landed, tall girls with long, flowing hair appeared.
They were no longer the black princesses covered in black fur, but the white princesses with fair skin and outstanding temperament, dressed in black feathers.
One of the white princesses had skin as white as the finest porcelain; the skin exposed outside her black feathered robe was flawless and had a captivating rosy glow.
Her black feather coat was the thickest, like a thick black mink coat. She also wore a thick black feather hat, making it impossible to see her facial features. Further down, a glittering gold anklet was worn on her fair, bare ankle.
She is actually... Princess Manboya?
I never expected her to be so beautiful; it reminded me of the story of "The Wild Swans".
Princess Sister made eleven nettle dresses and threw them at her brothers who had turned into swans, so that her brothers could return to human form.
But now that no one is making clothes for the Black Princesses, they have returned to their original state.
It is clear that sailing into the heart of the ocean is equivalent to breaking free from a certain constraint.
I thought for a moment, then slowly walked over and said, "You saved me just now, thank you."
Princess Manboya frowned and turned her back, clearly unable to tolerate my unpleasant odor.
I felt a little embarrassed and quickly walked away.
However, one of the little princesses who was with Princess Manboya caught up with them. She was very young, maybe twelve or thirteen or fourteen years old, I'm not sure.
Her innocent eyes blinked, and she smiled sweetly. "Thank you. If you hadn't opened the glass dome, we would still be trapped here."
I caught a glimpse of the lead anklet on her ankle and exclaimed in surprise, "Are you the youngest princess?"
She nodded. "Yes, you can call me Yani." She then looked at Princess Manboya and smiled. "She is my adopted sister, Manboya." Although Princess Yani was not particularly beautiful, her round eyes and round face were quite endearing and charming.
“I know,” I said, curious. “Why is it only her cage that has a name tag on it?”
"Because only one person can have a name for a room, and that name is also the name of the room, which makes it easier for them to manage."
Princess Yanni glanced at the long-haired women gathered in the corner as she spoke. They seemed somewhat afraid of her, their eyes darting away, and she smiled again, pursing her lips.
Only the long-haired female steward calmly looked out at the sea from the tower window, showing no fear of us whatsoever.
I was curious and was about to ask something when I saw the stuttering girl walking towards us. Princess Yani also saw her, but suddenly frowned slightly and turned away without saying goodbye.
As I was wondering what was going on, the stuttering girl came up to me and said, "Hello, thank you so much this time."
Her voice is fluent and smooth; she is no longer the little stutterer she used to be.
“You…” I looked at her beautiful features, now that all the black hair had fallen out.
The stuttering girl looked at the silver-haired boy who was still cutting through the clouds and said, "He has been imprisoned for ten years. If you hadn't opened the glass enclosure, he would still be locked up inside."
"Why didn't you save him?" I asked, puzzled.
“It can’t be saved.” The stuttering girl shook her head. “For the past ten years, I’ve tried everything I could: sneaking into the tunnels, controlling the puppets with dead spirits, and bribing certain long-haired women, but I still couldn’t get this glass cover out.”
I said, "Fresh blood can be used to isolate the burning sensation and remove the glass cover."
"I've tried, using my own blood and even stealing the Black Princess's, but it didn't work..." The stuttering girl suddenly paused, then asked in surprise, "Your blood will work?"
I didn't dare nod. To be honest, I was full of doubts about the people and things here, and I didn't dare to tell the truth.
"I have no idea."
The stuttering girl smiled calmly, "It doesn't matter whether he is or not, he has already been rescued anyway."
I sensed their relationship was unusual. "Are you his friend?"
“No.” She raised her voice slightly, as if asserting some kind of ownership, “I am his fiancée.”
"Oh." I nodded.
She calmly glanced at me again and then left.
I sighed softly. She was no longer the timid, stuttering girl I knew. Our relationship could never go back to what it was before.
The corner near the tower window was crowded with girls with long braids. I used to be one of them, but now my braids are undone and my hair is a mess, I don't know if I still count?
But that obviously doesn't count. When I tried to talk to them, they all immediately scattered, including the girl with the long braid who had caused me to fall into the cesspool; she was the first to run away.
I didn't pay much attention and sat alone by the tower window.
It's good that they all left; it'll be peaceful now.
Not long after, I noticed a change in the sky. The once bright and sunny sky turned gloomy and gray.
Just then, a flash of silver light appeared in the sky and shot towards our Black Tower ship like an arrow. Almost instantly, the Black Tower ship sailed out of the burning sea and into a pitch-black Black Sea.
As the shimmering silver light fell inside the boat, the stuttering girl rushed over.
The dazzling light surrounding the silver-haired boy faded, revealing that he was covered in blood.
The stuttering girl hugged him tightly and burst into tears.
He gently pushed me aside, glanced at me, and walked over.
Seeing the blood-dripping longsword in his hand, I felt a chill run down my spine.
He suddenly said to me, "I'm sorry," but there was no remorse on his face.
He suddenly swung his sword at me. A flash of light, and a piercing pain shot through me, causing me to fall from the windowsill. My right shoulder was slashed open, and I cried out in terror and anger, "What are you doing?"
“Your whole body stinks terribly, but your blood is still useful; it can ignite a sword light to guide the way.” He forcefully threw the longsword out of the window, and the longsword flew to the front of the tower ship, like a guiding light, propelling the large ship forward at high speed.
I was in so much pain I was wincing, but he didn't even glance at me and strode towards the bow of the boat.
After a while, someone walked up to me; it was the long-braided girl who had pushed me into the cesspool.
Seeing me looking at her in surprise, she pursed her lips, took out a few pieces of rags, and bandaged my wound.
“I’ll help you now,” she said. “We’re even now, so don’t bother me again.”
I said okay.
She then bandaged up the wounds I had been shot in by the long-haired woman. "Luckily, there were no bullets inside, just abrasions, otherwise I would have been in serious trouble."
"Yes." I was in too much pain to speak. She bandaged the wound tightly, and the bleeding stopped in no time.
At this moment, guided by the glowing flying sword, the tower ship sailed out of the Black Sea and into the Red Sea. The blood-red sea made the sky appear blood-red as well.
I witnessed the most unforgettable scene of my life.
The sea was crimson, the sky was crimson, colors that seemed to belong to a bizarre dream.
How insignificant a human being is in this world.
The colors are simply dreamlike.
I stood there for a long time, deeply immersed in the moment.
After a while, the ship sailed into the blue sea again. The deep blue sea was as dark and thick as blue ink.
I was once again amazed by the wonders of nature, and wished I could become one with the blue sea.
After passing the blue sea, the ship sailed into the purple, green, and orange seas. The color of the sky changed with the color of the sea, and the sky and sea merged together in a strange way.
I felt as if I were in a beautiful and bizarre dream.
After passing through the sea of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple, the ship sailed into a deep gray sea. Suddenly, a strong sea wind blew up, and the ship began to rock and sway. Everyone lost control of their bodies, screaming as they slid from one end to the other, getting soaked by the icy waves.
I was thrown awkwardly to the bow of the ship, where I saw the handsome silver-haired boy standing steadily outside the ship exhaling wisps of white mist that quickly drifted towards the guiding lightsaber suspended in mid-air.
Amidst the swirling sword mist, the silver-haired handsome youth suddenly turned around, his eyes meeting mine.
His gaze was mysterious and cold, yet cruel and ruthless, like a cold and merciless sword. Even the most handsome person would lose much of their charm if they had such eyes.
Suddenly, his slightly husky, deep voice rang in her ears, "Thank you for everything you've done. Now, I'll take you home."
Although they were far away, it felt as if they were whispering in my ear.
I was stunned for a moment, not yet understanding what he meant, when the ship suddenly shook violently. Caught off guard, my head slammed into the hull. Before I could even cry out in pain, the entire ship capsized, the entire blue sea capsized, the entire blue sky capsized, and the whole world was unbelievably turned upside down—
With a loud bang!
The sky and sea collapsed like a terrifying blanket, countless icy, bone-chilling waves crashing in, surging into my throat and body. Overwhelmed by fear and pain, I screamed until I lost my voice...

Amidst my frantic shouts, I forced my eyes open, my forehead covered in cold sweat.
The soft morning sunlight streamed through the window and onto the sheets.
Four white walls, the familiar smell of disinfectant, the beeping electrocardiogram, and an IV drip full of medicine.
I sat up in horror.
Was this a dream? It must be. But why are the scenes in the dream so clear?
Everything was like a dream, yet not quite a dream.
Oh my god, I covered my face with my hands, trying to control the urge to scream. What on earth happened?
Two nurses carrying trays pushed open the door and were startled to see that I was awake. They rushed to my bedside in a panic and immediately started injecting the IV fluid into the IV bag.
Based on my past experience, I'm sure they injected a sedative, as a mentally ill person who has just woken up might be noisy.
But I didn't make a sound; I just watched the clear medicine being injected into the IV drip, remaining unusually quiet.
I quickly became so sleepy that I couldn't keep my eyes open, and I fell asleep leaning against the headboard...
When I woke up again, the sun was setting, and orange-yellow light streamed in through the undrawn curtains.
Looking at the white walls and the medical equipment I couldn't name, I remembered that I was still in a mental hospital. I felt an urge to burst into tears, but I bit my lower lip and forced myself to hold it back.
