Chapter 81 "My wolf is still guarding outside..."

Chapter 81 "My wolf is still guarding outside..."

To be honest, I rarely look at his private parts when changing diapers, unless it's unavoidable. I can't exactly change his diaper with my eyes closed when his thing is waving around in front of me, can I?

Fortunately, I'm not unfamiliar with this. I've swapped bodies with men before, so I know men's bodies inside and out, and I wasn't too surprised.

Now, I dare not run away, nor do I dare not work, but my physical strength is limited, and I am very worried that I will die from overwork one day.

Finally, one day, I couldn't help but speak to him, mustering my courage: "You have to tell me what happened, when this will end, so I can die knowing the truth, okay?"

He slowly opened his cold eyes, stared at me for a moment, and then closed them again.

I'm confused. What does this mean?

“I’ve been a laborer for so long,” I said, trying to remain calm, “and I’ve never asked you for a single penny. I just want to know what happened.”

He still ignored him.

I could only sit there blankly.

I imagine that such a person only sees me as an ant.

He ignored the protests of the ants, of course.

Before making lunch, I went to the basement to get rice to cook porridge, only to find that there wasn't much left. As I fed him the porridge, I said, "You have to tell me where to get more food, or we'll starve to death soon."

He drank his porridge with his eyes closed, remaining silent.

At midnight, he finished drinking water and fell asleep. I quietly got up and left the room.

Holding a torch, I carefully walked down the corridor, looking through each room one by one. Actually, I had secretly visited this building many times before, when the three maids were still alive, trying to find something, but I found nothing.

With our ammunition and supplies almost exhausted, I decided to take another look, hoping to find something.

After checking the second floor, I checked the third floor, going up and down the wooden stairs. Suddenly, I felt something behind me. I turned around and saw a tall, ferocious black wolf following me. I was terrified and froze on the spot.

After a while, realizing that the black wolf didn't seem to be attacking, they dared to continue going upstairs.

Black Wolf followed me up to the third floor, keeping a respectful distance.

The third floor wasn't particularly special. After looking through each room, I was somewhat disappointed. I went up to the fourth floor, but it was much the same there. Then I went down to the basement. The basement was a huge storage room, containing food and other miscellaneous items. Still, I didn't find anything special.

The black wolf kept staring at me menacingly from outside the door.

I sighed and was about to go out, closing one of the wooden doors, when suddenly my finger was cut by a nail on the door, and a stream of bright red blood flowed out. It was just a minor injury, so I shook my finger, smearing the blood all over the wooden door. Just as I was about to leave, I stopped in disbelief. These drops of blood were slowly moving and converging, seemingly forming a strange pattern.

—It's a superpower that hasn't been seen in a long time!

The blood slowly slid down, forming a somewhat peculiar square, which was also somewhat like a circle, and seemed to resemble a rhombus as well, though it was hard to say what it looked like.

I stared at it in astonishment for a long time.

The next morning, I half-squatted on the floor to feed him porridge. He drank it slowly, but half of it would leak out with each sip, and the porridge kept flowing down from the corners of his mouth. I kept wiping it with a handkerchief.

Perhaps because I've been taking care of them for so long, I've become a bit bolder than before, and I asked, "What exactly happened here? You know, I'm from out of town."

He didn't even glance at me.

I was rejected again, so I could only meekly feed him porridge and wipe his mouth.

After feeding them, I couldn't help but say, "We're almost out of rice..." But before I could finish, I heard a deafening crash from the lobby downstairs, as if countless guards were bursting in, their footsteps pounding haphazardly.

The bowl in my hand fell to the ground with a loud thud.

She looked at him in horror, but he remained motionless and expressionless.

Two fierce black wolves suddenly howled at the sky. To my horror, dozens of black wolves with shiny fur sprang out from some unknown corner and howled at the sky as well. Then, even more black wolves sprang out.

I was stunned. There were so many wolves hiding here, and I had no idea before—they were so well hidden.

"Escape!" He, who was usually silent, suddenly blurted out this word.

"Escape? Where to?" I panicked.

"Idiot!" he roared. "Underground."

"That's not right, they're rushing up from below, rushing up the stairs..."

"Open the wardrobe."

I scrambled over and opened the wardrobe, tearing open all the clothes. There was a secret door, and behind it was a wooden ladder leading directly underground—he was referring to an underground passage.

Before those fierce-looking guards could rush into the room, I had already carried him away and escaped.

He was so light, it felt like I was carrying a mannequin.

We fled desperately through the dark tunnel, pursued closely by five or six black wolves. The tinderbox on his back and in his hand barely illuminated the path we were running towards.

This damp, dark passage seemed to have no end. I ran for a long time without getting out. My speed was getting slower and slower, while the noisy pursuit of the soldiers behind me was getting louder and louder.

I was terrified. My legs and arms went weak, but I still held him tightly on my back.

"Where is the exit?" I asked him, my voice trembling with tears.

"have no idea."

I turned to look at him in disbelief. "So where did you hide last time?"

"Use the Black Wolf Army and negotiate."

The voices of the pursuers behind me grew louder and louder, and I panicked even more. I couldn't speak anymore and ran forward with almost all my might.

Just as he was about to catch up, he suddenly said, "Stop!"

"What?!"

"This is where you bury the body in your backyard."

I froze in fear, following his gaze upwards.

“This is it.” A strange light gleamed in his golden eyes.

The pursuers rushed over, and the guard in the lead shouted, "Sarga, you're about to die! Lord Artis says that any negotiation is useless and he wants to take your head to him."

I was horrified. Was I, the one who carried him to safety, going to die too?

The guards rushed at me with their broadswords raised. I screamed and dodged away with my back to him. Just then, he suddenly chanted a strange incantation, and wisps of white smoke appeared out of nowhere. This smoke blocked their attack and emitted a peculiar shriek.

I was stunned—it was exactly the same sound as the dolls that the Black Princess played with in the Black Castle, which swayed as they walked and emitted strange, mournful howls.

The white smoke grew thicker and thicker, and its destructive power seemed to be very strong. Wherever it spread, the screams of the guards could be heard.

Back then, the Black Princesses transformed into crows, exhaling wisps of black mist from their mouths. The puppets would then open their mouths and swallow all the black mist souls.

In other words, the white smoke and the black mist may be the same thing, possessing some kind of strange power, otherwise they wouldn't be so desperately collected.

The white smoke grew thicker and thicker, and the screams of the guards grew louder and louder, but I remained frozen in the corner, carrying him on my back.

A few minutes later, when they heard earth-shattering shouts of fighting coming from not far away in the secret passage, new pursuers arrived.

There were too many pursuers, and the white smoke grew thinner and thinner, gradually becoming useless.

I glanced back at him and saw that he had stopped chanting the incantation, closed his eyes, and his thick, golden eyelashes trembled slightly.

His resigned expression showed that he had accepted his tragic fate—to be beheaded and separated from his body.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

But I don't want to die yet; I want to live.

He desperately tried to recall the blood pattern he had seen last night, then opened his eyes and searched around for anything suspicious.

But after searching for a while, I found nothing.

I looked at the white smoke again. The smoke drifted and slowly changed shape. To my surprise, I found that a certain part of the white smoke looked like the pattern from last night—it was square, yet also somewhat round, and as it slowly changed, it also resembled a rhombus.

As the swords came flying, five or six black wolves that had been surrounding us howled and pounced. Taking advantage of the moment, I carried him on my back and rushed toward the shape of the white smoke. I could clearly feel his body tremble.

The shape that the white smoke had conjured was a half-black stone wall in a very remote corner. I gritted my teeth, carried him on my back, and rushed over. Just when I thought I was about to crash and bleed, he suddenly chanted a spell that drifted into my ears. My vision blurred, and before I could react, I had entered a closed space.

After seeing it clearly, I opened my mouth wide and couldn't speak.

This is a sparkling cave.

Behind that half-black stone wall was a hidden treasure cave.

Gold and silver treasures were everywhere. Chests filled with diamonds and gems were scattered all over the place. Dazzling necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and bangles were strewn all over the ground. There were mountains of gold coins, gold ingots forming high walls, and countless gleaming, sharp swords, golden bows and arrows, silver spears, and weapons I couldn't name. My God, how did I get here?!

Just as I was about to squat down to pick up a few things, he immediately said, "Find one thing for me first."

"What is that?" I suddenly remembered that I was still carrying him on my back.

"A type of grass that grows in this hole."

"Grass?"

"Yes."

"What does it look like? It's definitely not an ordinary grass."

This person is so strange, what kind of grass is he looking for in the treasure cave?

"I don't know either. Please look for me and put me down first."

I was indeed getting tired of carrying it, so I placed it next to a tall box filled with silk and satin, and started looking around.

After searching for a long time, I couldn't even find a single blade of grass. I wondered if he was bluffing me, but I didn't want to say anything. So I pretended to be looking around, but actually I was looking for gold and silver jewelry.

Don't blame me for being greedy; I've truly never seen so much treasure before.

Then he said leisurely, "My wolf is still guarding outside."

This was a blatant threat—I had no choice but to start looking for grass again, but I really couldn't find any. I told him the truth, but he said that others might not be able to find it, but I definitely could.

"Why?" I asked.

“I don’t know,” he said, “I just have this feeling.”
