Yao Zijun came over with the room key, and Lu Wanzheng told Yao Zijun about her plans.
After listening, Yao Zijun pondered for a moment and then agreed.
The hotel provided by the production team this time consists of single rooms, one room per person, with the three rooms next to each other, making it easier to find someone if needed.
Around noon, the three of them packed their things and met at the door of the room.
“Let’s walk there, it’s only a ten-minute walk, and we can get some exercise,” Yao Zijun suggested.
Lu Wanzheng glanced at her phone, roughly calculated the time, and said, "I have no objection."
Seeing that the two people in charge had said so, Xiao Hua, as a mere assistant, naturally couldn't disagree. It was a good opportunity to go out for a stroll and relax.
The three strolled through the streets and saw the entrance to the town in the distance.
Above the entrance to the town hangs a plaque that reads in regular script: Moon Worship Town.
The entrance features a retro-style building with a grand and imposing presence. On either side of the gate are two enormous stone lions, which are quite similar to the gates of ancient royal palaces depicted in TV dramas.
Only one of the town's gates was open, revealing a ticket check area.
It was probably getting late, and there were fewer tourists who had booked for the day, so only one door was open.
An old man sat at the entrance, reclining on a bamboo chair, fanning himself with a palm-leaf fan, looking relaxed and carefree.
Seeing that they were approaching their destination, the three quickened their pace.
A black sedan sped past them, leaving them in a cloud of exhaust fumes.
"Who is this person? So rude!" Xiaohua coughed, choked by the stench.
Lu Wanzheng and Yao Zijun covered their noses, their faces also looking very unwell.
Such a wide road, yet they insisted on passing right next to them; I wonder if it was intentional.
"Sister Wanzheng, look." Xiaohua pointed to the black sedan in front.
The car gradually slowed down and finally came to a steady stop in front of the town's entrance.
Judging from this distance, it's obvious that they deliberately accelerated as they passed them, stirring up dust on the ground and exhaust fumes from the car.
Finally, due to its high speed, when it slowed down later, the car stopped beyond the front of the entrance.
The first person to get out of the car was Su Xiuyi, followed by Qian Kong. Su Xiuyi blocked the top of the car door with her hand, so it was obvious that Wang Xiyou would be the next one to get out.
Sure enough, she was wearing a Chanel-style dress today. She took her LV bag from Qian Kong's hand and walked haughtily toward the entrance.
"Wang Xiyou also came here first to find out the situation?" Yao Zijun's tone was tinged with doubt.
Wang Xiyou's arrogant demeanor made him seem more like he was there to inspect rather than to gather inspiration.
Lu Wanzheng shook her head. This young lady always acted on a whim. She used all her brainpower to deal with her, and yet she always ended up doing things that were thankless and exhausting.
I wonder how long she's going to keep those old photos hidden.
"Speaking of which, the promotional event for 'The Great Path of Splendor' is in five days, held in Kyoto. Wang Xiyou will definitely attend in full dress. Remember to wear something nice and don't look out of place in front of her."
Xiao Hua: "Sister Yao, don't worry about that. Even if Sister Wan Zheng is covered in a burlap sack, she'll still look better than Wang Xiyou when she stands there in a few days."
She personally felt that Wang Xiyou was far inferior to Lu Wanzheng in appearance alone, not to mention in temperament, so no matter how Wang Xiyou dressed, he could not compare to Lu Wanzheng.
