“I cooked dinner.” He planned to list it out bit by bit.
Lu Wanzheng casually took off the headband from her face and threw it behind her onto the dressing table. "I was in charge of guiding you through the dinner you made, so I got a share. This doesn't count."
Xiao Qifeng: "Then I also sent a large bouquet of roses, does that count?"
Lu Wanzheng remembered the roses that were still on the dining table, taking up half of it. She hadn't asked for them; they were a gift she had given herself. "I guess that'll do. Consider it a substitute for lunch today."
"I even peeled your favorite shrimp for you. Can you help me blow-dry my hair now?" Xiao Qifeng put his hands on Lu Wanzheng's shoulders, his eyes filled with resentment, as if accusing her of being so calculating about the gains and losses involved.
Meeting Xiao Qifeng's gaze, Lu Wanzheng finally broke down, "I was just kidding, why are you taking it so seriously?" As she spoke, she stood up from the stool, made room for him, and gestured for him to sit down.
Xiao Qifeng smiled indulgently. He knew she wasn't the type to fuss over such things, but he just wanted to play along. He sat down on the stool with his back to Lu Wanzheng, while Lu Wanzheng plugged in her hair dryer. "It's your honor to have Tony Lu personally blow-dry your hair and show you his skills."
Before Xiao Qifeng could speak, Lu Wanzheng turned on the hairdryer. The continuous buzzing interrupted what he wanted to say. The hot air from the hairdryer blew on his wet hair, and her slender, smooth hands would occasionally brush across his head, smoothing his messy hair.
Nuannuan's small hands moved lightly, playing with his still-damp hair.
The loose bathrobe was only secured by a belt at the waist. Because he was sitting, the fabric at his chest was open, revealing a large expanse of skin. He couldn't help but twitch his lips. "Knowing that we're having a date at home tonight, why dress so revealingly? Isn't he just asking for trouble?"
All Xiao Qifeng could hear was the buzzing of the hairdryer; he couldn't hear anything else, including Lu Wanzheng's complaints.

Lu Wanzheng put away the hairdryer, while Xiao Qifeng stood up. Since his clothes were hanging down naturally, his chest was no longer exposed as when he was sitting.
Lu Wanzheng was still not satisfied. She forcefully pushed Xiao Qifeng into the second bedroom, closed the door, and said to the person inside, "Change your bathrobe into pajamas before you come out. Exposing your body in public like this would have gotten you drowned in a pig cage in ancient times!"
Wearing a bathrobe was part of his plan. He felt that showing some skin in front of Lu Wanzheng, coupled with today's special occasion, might allow him to go back to the master bedroom to sleep tonight.
Who would have thought that the plan would be met with such a setback so soon after it began, and now they're hearing some more troubling words coming from outside the door.
