The kitchen counter was filled with all sorts of condiments. Lu Wanzheng found a small dish and put some vinegar in it. She originally wanted to add some minced garlic to the vinegar, but she didn't have any at home. She was also starving and didn't have time to peel or chop the garlic, so she could only make do with the vinegar.
Lu Wanzheng found a plate to serve the dumplings, and sat down at the table with the plate and small dish. She picked up a dumpling, dipped it in vinegar, and ate half of it in one bite.
The filling was exposed. She chewed the dumpling in her mouth. It was savory, but not very strong. Compared with ordinary pork dumplings, it was indeed slightly savory.
This also exposed the shortcomings of frozen dumplings. Unlike homemade three-delicacy dumplings, which have a lot of fillings because she loves shrimp, Ye Sao can clearly see fine shrimp bits every time she makes them.
This is something that the three-ingredient dumplings sold outside really can't compare to.
Potato walked to Lu Wanzheng's side and patted Lu Wanzheng's exposed leg with its paw pads. It was so light that Lu Wanzheng almost thought it was her imagination.
She looked down and saw Potato's bright blue eyes staring at her. How could she not be moved? She picked up Potato and placed him on the dining table.
Potato probably hadn't seen the dumplings before. Seeing Lu Wanzheng eating, it curiously walked over, sniffed the plate, and immediately pulled its head back when it was burned by the steaming hot dumplings.
Lu Wanzheng picked up another one and put it in her mouth.
Unable to resist his curiosity, Potato leaned closer again. This time he wasn't burned by the heat, but the dumpling itself didn't have much flavor. Just as he was about to stick out his tongue to lick it, Lu Wanzheng stopped him.
Lu Wanzheng pulled the plate towards herself, leaving only air around the potato. "You can't eat this."
The dumplings contained a lot of seasonings, which are not suitable for cats.
To prevent the potato from having any further designs on the dumplings, she had to put the potato on her lap so it wouldn't be out of sight and wouldn't pique its curiosity.
At the same time, she sped up her eating pace. She could actually eat a lot of dumplings if they tasted good, but the taste of these frozen dumplings was somewhat disappointing, so she only ate eleven before she didn't want any more.
After washing the dishes and cleaning up the pot, Lu Wanzheng sat on the sofa with potatoes in her arms.
When things get busy, you can be so busy you lose all sense of direction; when things are quiet, you can just sit there and let yourself rot.
She turned on the TV to see if there were any new variety shows airing recently; she hadn't watched TV in a long time.
She found a variety show where she was holding a potato, her legs bent, curled up in the corner of the sofa, a position that made her feel very comfortable.
The TV is showing a mirror room game, with the regular cast members on one side and the guest stars invited for this episode on the other. The game is simple in theory, as the guest stars simply need to imitate the actions and lines of the regular cast members. However, the biggest challenge lies in the fact that, for the sake of the show's effect, the props used by both sides seem to be the same but actually contain hidden tricks.
One of the regular guests, holding a white radish, shouted, "Master, let me show you my newly learned Shadowless Hand!" In the blink of an eye, he lightly slapped the white radish, and it shattered into pieces. Anyone with eyes could see that the radish in his hand had already been chopped up. The moment he let go, without any support, the radish naturally scattered all over the ground.
