"What's there to explain!"
A deep voice came from behind the reporter.
The atmosphere suddenly became heavy.
The sound wasn't very loud, but everyone in the vicinity could hear it.
The noisy fans immediately fell silent.
The fans who were holding up Wang Xiyou's support signs also put their hands down and stopped holding them up high.
Those further back immediately turned around and looked in the direction of the sound.
There was a man in a suit and leather shoes, with long, slender legs and a restrained demeanor. He was tall and upright, like a pine tree. He was facing away from the light, and his face was hidden in the shadows, so his features could not be seen.
Even so, his noble and aloof demeanor was undeniable.
She's definitely not bad looking.
It could even be described as excellent.
He seemed to emerge from the light, illuminating the darkness.
As he walked into the crowd, everyone saw what he looked like.
His brows and eyes were deep and aloof, his pupils held a distant and unapproachable quality, and his nose was high and straight.
Right now, he was looking at the huge crowd in front of him with that aloof, almost smiling face.
Everyone had only one thought in their minds: This man is so handsome! Their legs went weak!
He stopped next to the reporters on the outermost edge. "Excuse me," he said. His voice was deep, very magnetic, and pleasant to listen to—the standard domineering CEO tone.
The voice was authoritative without being angry. The reporter's body moved faster than his brain, and he instinctively stepped aside, clearing a path to the middle.
The man nodded to the person beside him and stepped forward.
Hearing the familiar voice, Lu Wanzheng was stunned for a moment, thinking she was hallucinating. No, how could he be here?
Lu Wanzheng's heart tightened.
She raised her head and looked in the direction of the sound. As the reporters made way for her, a distinguished man walked towards her. She inadvertently met the man's unfathomable eyes.
Upon seeing the real person, Lu Wanzheng looked incredulous. She pursed her lips, wondering why they had come at this time.
As she watched him approach, Lu Wanzheng sighed softly. It seemed Mr. Xiao was about to face a tough battle.
The man walked up to Lu Wanzheng, lowered his head to look at her, and buried her in his shadow. A hint of human warmth appeared in his originally nonchalant eyes.
"Haven't seen you in so long, you don't even greet me anymore?"
The man spoke slowly and deliberately, completely disregarding his surroundings and everyone around him.
"Old Xu, let's be mindful of the occasion and catch up at home?" Lu Wanzheng suggested.
Xu Jingxing's eyes turned cold, and he sneered, "Go home? Go back to that bastard's home?"
The thought of that bastard Xiao Qifeng abducting his niece made him want to smash his head in.
"Old Xu, I'll give you one more chance. Speak properly."
"Oh!"
They even protected it.
"Be mindful of your current status; you're not married yet."
Lu Wanzheng turned her head away and ignored him.
She knew that Lao Xu harbored great hostility towards Mr. Xiao. After all, the girl she had raised had been taken away by another man, so she was bound to dislike that man.
I feel sorry for Mr. Xiao for three seconds.
The reporter noticed that the two were getting along very well, and the man who had just arrived looked like a successful person; a single, casual remark from him made them feel pressured.
A few more reporters just arrived from elsewhere.
The atmosphere was strange; the group of reporters surrounding Lu Wanzheng were all silent.
The reporter who had just arrived didn't know what had happened, but he saw a man standing in front of Lu Wanzheng.
