Chapter 4 Pei Brothers and Sisters

Gasoline is an indispensable commodity in the apocalypse, but it is difficult to get before the apocalypse. In addition, Lin Yu’s money is really not enough, so he plans to wait until the apocalypse comes and order collapses to collect it.

Fortunately, Qingquan Mountain is located in the suburbs of the city, and when the end of the world came, it happened to avoid the rush hour of going to and from get off work, and there were only a few scattered cars stuck on the roadside.

Looking around, the people in the car had turned into zombies. Hearing the sound of the car moving, the zombies' faces were pressed against the car windows, and they made "ho ho" sounds in their throats, but they could not leave because of the restraints of the seat belts and the locked car doors.

As long as they didn't block the road, Lin Yu ignored the zombies locked in the car. The most important thing now was to collect supplies. It wouldn't be too late to complete the task of clearing zombies issued by the system later.

We arrived at the Jialan gas station without any obstructions.

Lin Yu saw the tanker truck parked at the gas station at a glance, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

There were several cars parked in the gas station. Lin Yu carefully parked his car outside the gas station, observed the surroundings, and confirmed that there were no zombies around before taking out the key, locking the car door, taking the mace and getting out of the car.

The gas station was quiet. The doors of the cars parked inside were open, and the people inside were nowhere to be found. There was a large pool of blood that had not yet dried on the ground, and it was obvious that the tragedy had just happened.

Lin Yu's eyes narrowed slightly, and he walked towards the tanker truck while being wary of the zombies that might run out at any time.

There were two tanker trucks parked at the gas station. Lin Yu only took one to the storage warehouse, and the other tanker truck did not move.

She intended to leave a way out for others.

After the tanker truck was put into the space, the convenience store of the gas station was exposed. Seven zombies were lying on the ground eating at the entrance, and two of them were wearing gas station work clothes.

Without the cover of the tanker truck, the breath of living people quickly attracted the attention of the zombies.

The zombies that were feasting on the food suddenly raised their heads, revealing their grayish-blue faces covered in sticky blood. Their mouths were so big that they were almost pulled to the back of their ears, and a piece of uneaten intestine was hanging on their bared teeth. The liquid in the intestines mixed with blood dripped down along the intestines, giving off a pungent smell. It looked extremely disgusting.

If Lin Yu had not experienced this once before, he would have vomited out his overnight meal if he suddenly saw such a scene.

The zombies' clothes were smeared with blood and shredded flesh, with only their shoulders still showing their original color. They gave up eating and slowly stood up, growling like phlegm in their throats. Their dead fish-like gray eyes stared intently at Lin Yu. They stretched out their blood-stained hands and trembled as they walked towards Lin Yu, making excited "ho ho" sounds.

Lin Yu narrowed his eyes, took a wrong step, and swung the mace at the back of the zombie's head.

The head of the zombie running towards her was instantly smashed into a pulp by the mace, and its brain matter mixed with rotten flesh and blood sprayed out in all directions, and it collapsed to the ground instantly.

The zombie that was a step slower had its face splattered with a mixture of brain matter and flesh, which made it look even more terrifying with the hideous blue veins on its face.

Lin Yu didn't let the brain mixture get on him at all. He raised his knife and swung his mace, finishing off the remaining zombies.

The corpse lying on the ground and being gnawed moved. Just as Lin Yu was about to deal with it, his brows suddenly frowned, and he tightened his grip on the mace in his hand, looking towards the door of the convenience store with a defensive look on his face.

"Who's there? Come out!"

However, no one was seen at the door of the convenience store with the naked eye. If Lin Yu had not just sensed the fluctuation of supernatural powers, he would not have suddenly shouted.

After she shouted at him, the man hiding at the door of the convenience store held his breath and tried his best to suppress the urge to vomit, not even daring to breathe.

Lin Yu clenched the mace in both hands and walked towards the convenience store door.

Lin Yu approached step by step, and the man hiding in the dark suddenly appeared and said hurriedly:

"No, no, no... don't hit me! We are not monsters."

Suddenly, a panicked face and a man who fell into a coma appeared in front of Lin Yu.

Invisibility psychic?

It wasn’t a zombie, so Lin Yu ignored it and continued walking towards the convenience store with the mace.

Pei Linlang was scared to death, but still stood in front of Pei Yan.

Lin Yu ignored the two of them and took up his mace to deal with the zombie whose chest had been bitten into a large piece.

Pei Linlang breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Lin Yu's target was not her. She asked in a trembling voice:

"Sister, do you know what happened to those people?"

Lin Yu glanced at her. She was a pretty girl of about thirteen or fourteen years old, with a young appearance.

The wound on the unconscious man's arm had been simply stopped and bandaged. It looked like he was bitten by a zombie.

He buried his head in the little girl's shoulder, revealing only half of his well-defined profile. He looked somewhat similar to the little girl who was supporting him. They should be siblings.

For some reason, Lin Yu felt that the profile looked familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere. But after thinking about it carefully, the faces of the man and the girl did not seem to appear in her memory, so she did not care.

Pei Linlang's young face could hardly hide the panic, but her eyes held a determination that was inconsistent with her age.

She paused slightly, somewhat admiring the courage of a girl of her age to take her brother to hide from the zombies. Seeing the blood on the man's arm, she kindly reminded him:
