Then, a dense demonic aura mixed with a mournful light shattered the silence, followed by the screams of a divine artifact, and then cracking sounds, as if a divine artifact was being devoured.
"Oh my god." Xiao Mo'er covered her mouth with her hand and looked around at the demonic energy protecting her.
What happened?
Is something here devouring those artifacts?
That's a divine artifact!
Immediately following was the sound of the artifact struggling, which was extremely shrill.
They didn't even spare the ghosts.
Clumps of ghosts were sucked away, without even having time to struggle.
I wonder what is so ferocious that it can devour ghosts and magical artifacts?
Xiao Mo'er trembled, but the demonic energy around her propelled her forward.
"I'm not going, I'm not going."
She struggled, but the demonic energy ignored her and seemed quite excited.
Xiao Mo'er: ...
Holy crap, these inhuman demonic energies... are they trying to get that monster to eat them too?
No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't break free.
Those demonic energies were practically forcing her.
In a terrifyingly distorted space, even the storm seemed to have calmed down.
Surrounded by magical artifacts and ghosts constantly crawling on the ground, they didn't even dare to struggle.
In that open space, a fragment of armor floated in the light, digesting and devouring the artifact and the ghost.
Xiao Mo'er: ...
She imagined that terrifying being might be an unparalleled divine artifact, or a ghost with profound cultivation, or... simply a monster.
But I never expected... to see this scene before me.
It was a piece of armor so beautiful it seemed unreal; one could only imagine how stunning the complete suit of armor must have been.
Because even this fragment is beautiful in its vibrant colors.
It is white light, yet it refracts into a spectrum of colors.
The fragments seemed to possess a spirit, and looked extremely ferocious and terrifying.
Hidden among the fragments, it greedily devours everything that is beneficial to its cultivation.
"I'll go."
Xiao Mo'er even started swearing.
The next second, the subjugated demonic energy suddenly propelled her body, pushing her towards the fragments.
"No!" Xiao Mo'er screamed, unable to stop herself.
Suddenly, she finally remembered that she was a cultivator, and with a somersault in the air, she steadied herself.
Upon seeing someone enter its territory, the fragment, provoked, immediately dispatched its spirit and flew towards her.
Xiao Mo'er felt a huge tongue flying towards her. She tried to dodge but felt stuck to her whole body, and even the space around her became unstable.
Just as the enormous tongue was about to sweep her away, suspended fragments flew towards her like shooting stars.
The next second, she felt a heat on her chest, and the fragments stuck to her front. Then, a dazzling light began to form around her like a building.
That was truly an unparalleled suit of armor, so beautiful. I don't know what it was made of; it shimmered with silver light and reflected iridescent colors.
This must be the armor of a female warrior, to be as thin as a cicada's wing, yet so light and beautiful.
Xiao Mo'er stared in disbelief at the armor she was wearing.
I can't believe it.
The enormous tongue struggled and roared, then vanished into thin air upon contact with the armor.
It was clearly a sentient being born from a fragment of armor, yet it was inexplicably destroyed by the fragment itself.
Xiao Mo'er still couldn't be sure.
The surrounding demonic energy was kneeling in worship, kneeling devoutly.
But those divine artifacts began to stir and rebel.
They felt that what had been suppressing them had disappeared.
Those divine artifacts were all proud and arrogant. Having been suppressed by that thing for countless years, they had long harbored resentment and were now beginning to think of rebellion.
Xiao Mo'er began to feel her cultivation level rising steadily. She quickly sat down on the ground and felt the spiritual energy in her body was as abundant as if it were free.
Demonic energy began to surge into her body, transforming into spiritual energy to replenish the damage caused by her increased cultivation level.
No one knows why the demonic energy began to wash over her body, just as she doesn't know why the fragments chose her.
As her cultivation level increased, she also felt the fragments enter her sea of consciousness, opening up a vast golden ocean.
It was a vast ocean, its size and depth unknown.
The fragments sank to the bottom of the sea and were bathed in seawater.
She could sense the fragments' happiness and joy, like a little kid who had finally found a home.
For some inexplicable reason, Xiao Mo'er established a connection with it.
It also communicated with her affectionately.
Since she could sense that it had no ill intentions, Xiao Mo'er felt relieved.
Her cultivation level continued to rise until she reached the mid-stage of the Nascent Soul realm before stopping.
When she opened her eyes, she couldn't believe it; she was already a Nascent Soul cultivator.
Finally, I'm no worse than those two brats.
The thought that those two little brats were born as Nascent Soul cultivators made her feel suffocated.
Before they could even recover from their excitement, they found themselves surrounded by menacing magical artifacts.
Those magical artifacts looked ferocious and menacing, as if they wanted to devour Xiao Mo'er. They must have torn that fragment to shreds.
Xiao Mo'er: ...
She can't beat him.
The surrounding demonic energy also formed a circle, but it was clearly no match for those divine artifacts.
"Hey! Calm down."
This... has nothing to do with me.
Those artifacts immediately made an attack gesture.
Just as Xiao Mo'er was at a loss, fragments flew out from her sea of consciousness, as if countless hands were reaching for those divine artifacts.
The artifact didn't even have time to struggle before it was swept away.
"Hmph!" The fragment seemed to snort coldly.
