The task for the four players playing the role of tourists is, well, quite challenging for them.
A bomber infiltrates ordinary tourists and plants time bombs on the five most popular rides in the amusement park. The players, who are supposed to be tourists, are tasked with experiencing all five rides.
One project equals one academic credit.
If you play fast, maybe nothing will happen.
If you happen to be playing right after the bomber, you might just get blown up on the amusement park and be eliminated.
Those who played late might find that some entertainment options had already exploded, leaving them unable to finish and meaning they wouldn't get that credit.
Unless Mu Chen and his team can discover and defuse the bomb in time.
Don't ask Mingmei why the other attractions will remain open to the public after the first bomb explodes. Mingmei also wants to know, are all the NPCs present stupid?
What if, by some unfortunate twist, the first attraction the bomber plays on is one that no one else has played on, and it causes an explosion right away? Is it even possible for them to continue playing there?
If the panic of the tourists and NPCs adds to the chaos, will this amusement park still be able to operate?
As Mingmei pondered, she stood in front of a large map of an amusement park, looking up at the map showing the amusement facilities scattered throughout the park.
To the east is the top of the forest (a wooden Ferris wheel);
To the south is a sea of hellfire (haunted house);
The one on the west side is the Steel Dragon (roller coaster);
To the north is the speedboat (riding the wind and waves).
Southwest Sand Maze (Maze);
The sand maze in the southwest is connected to the amusement park exit, meaning that you have to walk out of the maze to leave the amusement park.
The entrance on the due north side is a mystery – whether the designer had a problem with their thinking or it was just a deliberate gimmick – it's a one-way street where you can only enter and never leave; to get out, you have to navigate a maze.
This design is truly made in preparation for today!
However, judging from the current script and plot, this amusement park is not far from being doomed.
"The grandest fireworks display should be at the end..." The suspect stood at the exit, gazing at the sunset, and whistled a smug expression of excitement.
Mingmei closed her eyes and recalled the place where the final bomb exploded in the story—the exit of the Sand Sea Maze.
The script states that the bomber's operation officially begins at noon. Mingmei glanced at the system time set in the backend; it was only past noon.
Mingmei stared at the entertainment options on the map, pondering some issues she had overlooked.
Because of the entrance and exit setup of amusement parks, even if there seem to be many visitors inside, the actual number of visitors on the same day is not that many compared to other amusement parks.
Even though there are long queues for the iconic amusement rides in various locations, the time he spends queuing to plant the bomb each time isn't actually that long. When he finally gets stuck at the exit, he detonates the last bomb...
Why did it take so long?
It's early summer now, and the sun sets very late in summer.
Mingmei was about to continue thinking when she noticed someone approaching from behind.
"No, I want to ride the carousel! I want to ride the carousel!"
A sticky, cloying voice, like someone who had drunk concentrated syrup, came from behind Mingmei. Mingmei suppressed the goosebumps all over her body and turned around to see a "familiar face"—Julian.
Although the other person still had a smile on their face, their eyes were already full of helplessness. Following the other person's gaze, Mingmei saw a bright and beautiful girl standing to the side, holding his arm.
This game doesn't have the player recognition function that I had in "Assassin's Creed," so Mingmei can clearly see that the person standing in front of her is a player or a game NPC.
[Hey, doesn't this system even have social relationships for the characters players play?]
[There are even characters in the starting village who are related to the villainous boss, so what's wrong with assigning one a girlfriend here?]
Bright and beautiful: [...]
Oh, that reason makes sense!
“Honey, how about we start with something closer to home, like the haunted house?” Julian was amazed that he could perfectly avoid all the entertainment options he needed to complete when he heard his “girlfriend” talking about the things she wanted to do.
Therefore, while maintaining his game persona, he walked to the nearest large map with the other party to discuss whether they could play some of the activities he needed to complete.
"No, I'm afraid of ghosts."
"That's all fake. Besides, I'm here."
"Hmph, I think you're just trying to take advantage of me. You're thinking that if I get scared, you can hug me?"
The girl's words left Julian speechless. Although he didn't think that way, Julian felt that if he were really in a relationship, he might actually be thinking that way right now.
So, are girls' intuitions really that accurate these days?
"I……"
Julian was at a loss for words when suddenly the girl in front of him grabbed his arm and leaned half her body against him. Her soft, fragrant body almost made him push her away!
grass!
He's still a virgin!
Then he heard the other person say, "Since that's what you think, then I'll say yes. After all, this is our first date, so I'll give you face~"
Throughout the entire process, Mingmei stood to the side with a bewildered expression, unsure whether to go over and interrupt the two who seemed to be in a real relationship.
It wasn't until the girl agreed to go to the haunted house with Julian that Mingmei stepped forward and stopped them.
"It's noon, and I have some freshly made boxed lunches here. Would you two like some?"
