Chapter 496 I have something to do today, so it's just one chapter.

The enforcer chuckled at her little trick but said nothing. Mingmei, however, noticed it and looked at the enforcer who bore her father's face, asking, "Weren't you afraid of being discovered by Mona and thus avoiding showing yourself? Now what..."

Mingmei practically blurted out that Mona was actually quite afraid of the law enforcers; she was practically saying, "You idiot, you're lying again?!"

"Yes, with my presence, this girl certainly won't dare to act recklessly anymore. It wouldn't be good if it affected your performance." The enforcer lied without batting an eye. "Besides, how could I have discovered this surprise if I hadn't been hiding?"

The law enforcement officer then turned to Lillian and asked, "Where did that virus you gave Zhen Hu come from? I didn't know that the agreement you made with the players would make Yan Hui obedient, completely shut down the game, and destroy the data, right?"

Who do you think they are? Do they have that much influence?

Mingmei: "..."

Very well, it's her niece's influence that's gone.

"Before you died, you donated most of your wealth to Yan Hui to send you in; it was a one-off deal. How did you manage to stay conscious after Mona's awakening? Who were you in contact with, and why were they helping you like this? Also, where did that virus come from? It couldn't be from that Zerg, could it?"

Although he asked the question in a questioning tone, the others present could still tell that he was certain that Lena was the one who had contact with the Zerg!

"Wow!"

Lu Xiaoyao finally realized what was going on. She looked at Mona, then at Lena, who had a strange expression, and asked incredulously, "Didn't they say that the Zerg only had connections with the bosses in each game?"

“It contacted me.” Mona spoke up at this point, her expression darkening as she mentioned the Zerg. “I hate it. It wants to ruin this game, and I don’t want that.”

Without games, where will she squat?

She's like a local tyrant in this world; she can do whatever bad things she wants.

Mona's idea was actually very simple: she just wanted to protect her own world, a game world where she could do whatever she wanted. Why should she do those thankless things with that unlucky bug?

“I think they realized I couldn’t be bothered with it,” Mona said, then turned to Lillian and asked quietly, “And you, why?”

"Why me?" Lillian's face suddenly bent over as she answered the question, and she let out a nervous giggle as if she had heard a funny joke.

Lillian laughed for a long time, her laughter sending chills down everyone's spines. Suddenly, she looked up at Mona, her eyes bloodshot, and screamed, "You're asking me why?! Why are you always like this?! Why can't you learn? Why don't you listen? Why don't you listen to your mother and do these bad things?!"
