As Mingmei was unconsciously observing the people around her, she noticed that some of the figures seemed a bit off, as if they were doing something unspeakable under their large cloaks. Just as she took a closer look, one of the people in the group clearly spotted her.
As Mingmei was trying to guess what kind of player the other person was, she soon heard a familiar voice talking beside her.
"That person is so strange..."
"Right, it seems like Waldo."
"That's him, I can recognize him even if he only shows his chin and hands!"
Ah, Lu Xiaoyao.
Mingmei could guess the voice without even looking. She turned to the side and sure enough, Lu Xiaoyao and the other two had arrived at some point. They seemed to be looking in the same direction as her.
So, was Waldo among that group?
What frustrated Mingmei was why Lu Xiaoyao could tell someone's chin just by looking at them.
She just couldn't tell.
Besides, how come when it's her turn, Lu Xiaoyao doesn't recognize her when she shows her eyes and forehead?
Mingmei couldn't understand it, and shared her confusion with Guigui. Guigui responded with: "Maybe this is what they call a fake friendship?"
Mingmei: ...
Forget it, she'd better not ask Gui Gui.
"Is that you, Lu Xiaoyao?"
Mingmei turned around and pretended to bump into him by chance, which surprised and delighted Lu Xiaoyao.
"Oh my god, Meimei, you're in this game too? I thought you weren't here!"
Lu Xiaoyao was so excited that she ignored what was happening over there and rushed straight to Mingmei, asking excitedly, "How did you find me?"
"What kind of relationship do we have? I'd recognize you even if you were ashes."
For some reason, Mingmei's words sounded a bit strange. She wondered if it was just Lu Xiaoyao's imagination, but she sensed a sour smell about them.
Confused, Lu Xiaoyao chuckled twice, then pulled Mingmei aside, scrutinized her for a long time, and asked, "Are you alone?"
“Achen is here, but he has something to do for the time being, so I’ll investigate here by myself.” As she spoke, her bright eyes shifted and guided Lu Xiaoyao’s attention back to the group of people she had been observing.
"I just heard you mention over there... how many schools are there in Wal?"
Mingmei had only noticed one person who was very sensitive to her gaze, and she couldn't see anyone else, so she asked Lu Xiaoyao what was going on.
"Yes, but these aren't players in the game. Does the legion only allow newcomers to participate? I suspect they're just NPCs disguised as Waldo."
Although she recognized Waldo, Lu Xiaoyao still remembered who could play the game this time.
"It's not impossible..."
Mingmei's gaze also turned in that direction, and Tianma, who had been secretly watching Mingmei from the beginning, was no longer calm.
Why are there so many more people looking over here?
Did they call for help?
"Senior, we may have encountered a little trouble."
Pegasus glanced warily in the direction of Lu Xiaoyao and Mingmei, then quickly whispered their current situation to the Waldo NPC who was still trading nearby.
"What are you afraid of?" The Legion veteran NPC, modeled after Waldo, looked at Pegasus with a calm expression and said, "They won't dare to make a move here. It won't hurt them to just look at them."
"But……"
Having lived in the Outer Sea for so many years, Pegasus, with his keen insight and understanding of the humanity of the people there, had already labeled Mingmei and her group as having malicious intentions.
Killing and robbing in the dungeon is impossible, but what about above?
What happens after we leave the dungeon?
Thinking this way, Pegasus felt that this senior who had never lived in the outer space was too naive.
Unless you never go out, you'll inevitably face many fierce battles once you do!
As if sensing Pegasus's unease, Waldo had already completed all the transactions through the spatial button under his sleeve.
The other person turned around, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "It's okay, there are still mechs here, aren't there? If anyone dares to be so reckless, I'll just blow this whole place up."
Are you sick in the head?
Tianma's eyes widened. What was going on with these soldiers?!
Did it explode the moment it opened its mouth?
Then, thinking back to the Sixth Army Corps' massive invasion of this area, Tianma suddenly felt a tightness in his chest. He remembered that his house was close to the people they had captured, and he was sitting on the toilet when suddenly his head lit up!
His roof was completely ripped off, there's no way to reason with that!
Upon hearing the other party's immediate outburst, Mingmei couldn't help but curse these people for being so domineering!
"Hey! You brat, I brought you here to broaden your horizons, and you're here cursing me."
She was slapped on the back of the head, and the cloak on Tianma's head was tilted halfway. Mingmei immediately saw the other party's true face.
He was a handsome young man, but Mingmei didn't recognize him.
This person's level of awareness doesn't seem like that of an NPC; it's more like that of a player.
She was quite unfamiliar with them. Of the thousand military academy students serving in the Sixth Army Corps this time, Mingmei didn't know everyone, but after a while, she had basically become familiar with them.
If they're not military academy students, then they must be from outer space.
What are you spacing out for?
After watching the commotion inside for a few minutes, Lu Xiaoyao left. She was about to call Mingmei to follow when she saw Mingmei standing still.
“I wasn’t spacing out. I mean, we might have encountered alien sea players.”
As soon as Mingmei finished speaking, the others gathered around, looking at her and listening to her analysis. Sun Yunzhong also seemed to be deep in thought.
