Chapter 9 The Effects of Boxed Meals



"Huh?" Mingmei blinked innocently and said, "I'm the boss, I'm only responsible for selling boxed lunches, of course someone else makes them."

Seeing the other person nod thoughtfully and say something like "That's good," Mingmei added the next second, "If I made it myself, the price would definitely double, since it would certainly taste better."

Gazing at Mingmei standing by the candlelight, the flickering candlelight surrounding her momentarily stunned him. Coming back to his senses, he smiled and turned back to look at the rain outside, as if casually reminding her, "You shouldn't go out tonight."

After speaking, he lifted his foot and stepped out, disappearing into the misty rain...
