"Who sent you?"
When Mu Chen saw that a large group of them were followed by a pair of robots, his temples throbbed with pain.
These people have completely blocked his and Meimei's path!
"Ah, we're here to help, to lend a hand..."
When Lu Xiaoyao offered to help, she met Mu Chen's murderous gaze, and her cheerful voice instantly softened.
They hadn't expected this situation to happen.
Especially when they saw the dozen or so space pirates charging towards Mu Chen and Ming Mei, carrying guns and cannons, Lu Xiaoyao and her group all showed expressions of pain on their faces.
This is terrible!
These living people are much harder to deal with than robots!
"Hahaha, let's see where you run now!"
The space pirates were incredibly excited to see this!
This is truly a stroke of luck!
What a wonderful thing this is!
Just as the smiles on the faces of these space pirates grew increasingly arrogant, "snap!"—all the lights in the corridor went out.
"Let's do it!"
Before anyone else could react, Mingmei followed Mu Chen the moment he made his move.
There's only one explanation for this—Guderian took action.
In the darkness, she and Mu Chen were the first to adapt. Mingmei remembered that the moment it got dark, she immediately followed and rushed to the spot where the enemy was holding a cannon.
Hold my hand!
After Mingmei shouted, Mu Chen grabbed Mingmei's forearm, and Mingmei slid in to knock down the pirate in front of her. Mu Chen then quickly pulled her up.
The moment he pulled Mingmei up, Mu Chen immediately kicked the person Mingmei had just knocked down. A cry of pain and the sensation on his foot made Mu Chen instantly realize that he had kicked the person Mingmei had tackled.
This scream echoed throughout the pirate crew.
"who?!"
Upon hearing their companion's screams, the rest of the group fell into chaos. However, the other side was not to be trifled with either; realizing that someone was rushing towards them, they also began to fight back.
These muscular space pirates, with their powerful punches, created a dazzling gust of wind that left Mingmei feeling a lingering fear every time he narrowly dodged a blow.
That punch could really kill this guy.
Mingmei definitely didn't want to experience this wave of punches herself; with her physique, forget it.
Mingmei dodged their punches, but Mu Chen seemed to have taken one. Mingmei heard a muffled groan from Mu Chen, which made her heart skip a beat. She couldn't help but call out, "What happened?"
As soon as Mingmei finished speaking, her voice attracted the attention of others. Fortunately, she bent down in time, and several punches swiftly passed over her head.
Mingmei held the sharp dagger that Mu Chen had given her earlier. In the darkness, she judged the opponent's position based on the airflow caused by the opponent's punch and slashed directly at him.
As the blade swept past, Mingmei heard several screams. Then, because of her action, several beams of light from the energy guns exploded towards the ground, instantly revealing Mingmei's figure.
"There it is! Ah!"
One person excitedly pointed in the bright direction, but Mu Chen took the opportunity to use the silk thread in his hand to loop around the other person's neck from behind and strangle them backward.
"There are still people!"
In an instant, Mingmei and Muchen's figures were exposed to them. The two of them moved nimbly through the pirate team, while Lu Xiaoyao and the others directly fought against the robots they had brought with them.
The robots' vision is unaffected by darkness, but they have to be wary of the space pirates opposite them to avoid accidental injury.
This series of restrictive actions actually gave them the upper hand.
Meanwhile, Guderian, who had just helped Mu Chen and the others shut down the energy supply, was inside the starship feeling like a stranded dragon king had returned home, and he was extremely happy.
"Holy crap! This model is an antique! My goodness! This antique model has such good performance. No wonder it's been hundreds of years and there's still information about it in textbooks. The ones currently in service with the legion are all evolved versions derived from this model."
This thing in front of me isn't some outdated, useless machine; it's the perfect, original version!
The more Guderian spoke, the brighter his eyes became.
It's perfect!
"Huh?" Guderian, who was causing the destruction, suddenly realized something. "Where did space pirates get these things?"
Even the most rampant space pirates couldn't just plunder a legion's starship that was in service at the time, could they?
A legion has at least a million soldiers. Even if these space pirates are brainless, they understand that they are after money, not their lives.
Was this game intentional or unintentional?
Guderian stroked his chin, twisting his slightly curly short hair with one hand as he walked inside, tampering with some of the starship's functions while pondering this problem.
"Three hundred thousand people on the ancient planet Blue were rescued... If it wanted to accommodate many people, it is indeed possible for them to be captured by this kind of starship. After all, this is a starship of the carrier class, but something doesn't make sense."
If this condition is met, Guderian simply cannot understand why this starship would fall into the hands of space pirates.
"Only a fool would confront a legion head-on. Which legion wouldn't treasure such a precious thing? Even if it's lost or stolen, they'd still get it back."
Guderian suddenly trembled, as if he realized that something extraordinary had been revealed in the events of the ancient Blue Star.
Outside of the game,
"For many years, Hualan Star's relationship with the Federation has been lukewarm. Compared to its close relationship with the Empire, it has always seemed quite distant from the Federation. It was only in the last hundred years, after President Gustav came to power, that the relationship gradually improved."
