Chapter 140 I have no shame to begin with!

As Qian Da finished speaking, he suddenly remembered something and said, "I'll write a letter, could you mail it to me while you're at it?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Yunie was taken aback for a moment, then quickly nodded and agreed, "Okay."

So she stood quietly and waited. After about ten minutes, Qian Da came out with an envelope in his hand and handed the letter to Qin Yune.

After Qin Yune took it, he asked, "Is there anything you want me to tell Aunt Li?"

Qian shook his head and said softly, "Everything I wanted to say is in the letter. She'll understand when she sees it."

Qin Yunie nodded, put the letter into his own space, and then said goodbye to Qian Da: "Okay, then I'll be going now."

Just as she was about to turn and leave, Qian Da suddenly called out, "Wait!"

Qin Yune stopped and looked at him in confusion. Qian Da quickly turned and went into another room. Not long after, he came out again, carrying two small and exquisite bottles.

Qian Da handed the bottle to Qin Yune and explained with a smile, "This is a little something I recently got. You and your Aunt Li can each have one. The person who sold it said it has a very good skincare effect."

Worried that she wouldn't accept it, Qian Da added, "I have no use for it, so please accept it."

Qin Yune smiled and accepted it. "Uncle Qian, since you've said so, it would be impolite of me not to accept it. Thank you, Uncle Qian."

Seeing that she accepted it, Qian Da's face broke into a wide smile.

Afterwards, Qin Yunie brought up the matter of leaving again, and this time Qian Da did not stop her.

After parting ways with Qian Dadao, Qin Yune turned and left.

After Qin Yunie left, he went to the Yama King's Palace and asked the ghost guards at the entrance, "Is the Yama King inside?"

The ghost messengers at the door immediately noticed that Qin Yunie's hands were empty, and she wasn't carrying a food box as usual, so they figured she wasn't there to deliver food.

The ghost messenger quickly replied, "The King of Hell isn't in the Hell Palace. Is there something you need, Mr. Qin?"

Qin Yunie originally only intended to deliver her dividends from the past few days and give the pastries to King Yama, but after hearing what the ghost messenger said, she gently shook her head and said with a smile, "It's not anything particularly important. Since King Yama isn't here, let's just forget about it."

After saying that, Qin Yunie turned around and was about to leave, but he bumped into Judge Cui, who was walking out of the inner hall, as soon as he took a step.

Judge Cui was visibly taken aback when he saw Qin Yunie. When he realized that Qin Yunie's hands were empty and she wasn't carrying her usual food box, he seemed to realize something, and a smile immediately appeared on his face. He quickly walked up to Qin Yunie and said with a slightly enthusiastic tone, "Miss Qin, are you here to see King Yama?"

Upon hearing Judge Cui's voice, Qin Yune turned around and immediately met Judge Cui's somewhat sinister smile. She was slightly taken aback, then silently looked away, her lips curving upwards into a polite smile as she replied, "Judge Cui, I did come to see King Yama about something, but I just heard from the ghost messengers at the door that King Yama isn't in the hall, so I figured it wasn't anything important and I wouldn't bother you."

The ghost messengers at the door also saw Judge Cui's 'smile' and stood even straighter, their eyes fixed straight ahead.

Judge Cui seemed to sense something, his expression turned serious, and he put away his smile, saying, "King Yama is indeed not in the Yama Palace right now. He has business in Heaven and has gone there. However, Miss Qin, don't you have King Yama's contact information? If it's urgent, you can contact King Yama directly."

Upon hearing this, Qin Yune was somewhat surprised. No wonder the King of Hell wasn't in the underworld today; he had gone to the Heavenly Court.

She shook her head. "This isn't urgent for me, so I won't bother the King of Hell."

After thinking for a moment, Judge Cui nodded and said, "Alright, when King Yama returns, I will definitely tell him that Miss Qin has come."

Qin Yune paused. She actually wanted to say that there was no need to mention that she had been there, but seeing Judge Cui's serious expression, Qin Yune smiled and said, "Then thank you, Judge Cui."

After saying that, she remembered the pastries she had brought, so she took some out of her spatial storage and handed them over, saying, "These are pastries I steamed this morning. Judge Cui, take them and try them to see if you like the flavor."

Then some were distributed to the ghost messengers at the door.

Judge Cui looked at the pastries Qin Yunie took out and guessed that she might have obtained a spatial ability, which explained why he didn't see her take the food box.

It seems that Miss Qin came specifically to deliver pastries to the King of Hell, but she missed him and ended up picking them up instead.

Knowing that Miss Qin is so skilled, everything she makes tastes delicious, so these pastries must be just as good.

Unexpectedly, he got to eat the pastries that even the King of Hell hadn't yet tasted. The other ghosts in the group definitely hadn't eaten them either.

Thinking of this, Judge Cui wanted to laugh again, but he held it in and praised, "Miss Qin's cooking is all delicious."

The ghost guards at the door were surprised to find themselves involved. They were taken aback at first, then quickly thanked Qin Yunie, saying, "Thank you, Boss Qin."

Qin Yunie smiled and said, "If you like it, I'll make more next time and bring them over. I won't disturb your work any longer; I'll go check on how their boxed lunches are selling."

After Qin Yunie left, Judge Cui took a piece of pastry and put it in his mouth. The outer layer was slightly sweet, but the filling was savory. The key was that the two flavors did not compete with each other. Instead, they made the flavor more unique and fragrant. Hmm... no wonder it was made by Miss Qin!

Judge Cui took a picture of the pastries and posted it in the group chat.

Judge Cui: [Miss Qin gave me some of her freshly baked pastries; they taste really good!]

Fan Wujiu: [Aaaaah! Judge Cui, you're hogging all the food!!]

Ox-Head: [Judge Cui, is there anything I can help you with lately? I just need a piece of pastry.]

After a few seconds of silence, Fan Wujiu said, "[Bullhead, you've lost all shame now, haven't you?]"

Minotaur: [I don't have a face! I'm a minotaur.]

Fan Wujiu: [...]

Surprisingly, I was persuaded.

Xie Bi'an: [You didn't just get more than that, did you?]

Judge Cui was enjoying their wrath when he suddenly saw Xie Bi'an's message. He turned sharply to the two ghost messengers at the door, only to find them also putting on a show.

Judge Cui couldn't help but put on a stern face and said seriously, "Don't you two know that you can't slack off while you're working?"

The two ghost messengers were startled and quickly stuffed their phones and pastries into their pockets, saying, "We know we were wrong."

Cui Yu snorted, turned around, and entered the Yama's Palace.

He went in and came out again in less than two seconds.

So angry with them that he almost forgot what he was supposed to do!
