Chapter 17 I have Hepatitis B, please move aside

Mu Lian walked forward and when she passed the open nurse station, she didn't feel any guilt at all. She stared straight at Lin Xi, not losing face but her momentum.

Lin Xi habitually didn't wear a mask, as she couldn't let it cover her carefully applied makeup. After putting down the phone, she looked as if she wanted to kill Mulian with a knife. Her fists clenched, as if she wanted to pounce on Mulian and beat her to death. She said sarcastically, "You damn bitch, your mother must have been raped by a dog from the next village to give birth to such a bastard. What else can you do besides barking? You're useless. You can't prescribe medical advice or diagnose illnesses. What kind of doctor are you? Get out of here and stop harming others."

Mulian was furious. She felt that Lin Xi had spoken dirty that night. If she hadn't been up all night on the night shift and wasn't in a good state, her reaction would have been slow.

Next to them stood an old woman with silver hair. Her face was tanned, weathered by years of wind and sun, and covered in the erosion of time. Her clothes were old, pilling, and gray, looking dirty. Her eyes, clear, bright, yet timid, seemed out of place in the city. Her slippers were worn and stained with mud. The old woman looked timidly, sometimes at Mulian, sometimes at Lin Xi, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated. Her pitiful eyes hoped to attract Lin Xi's attention.

Mulian suppressed her anger and asked the old woman in a calm tone, "Grandma, what's wrong?"

Lin Xi cursed and said with a cocky look on her face, "Why are you pretending to be a good person? She can't treat the disease and will only delay you. Go find a doctor inside."

The old lady was obviously frightened by Lin Xi's tone. Her eyes were uneasy, and her hands were folded and clasped in front of her chest. She looked embarrassed and touched her forehead. "I want to take your temperature. I feel like I have a fever."

Mulian turned her head to look at Lin Xi. The nurse was holding the thermometer. Anyone with a discerning eye could see that the relationship between her and Lin Xi was tense, and she couldn't help.

The old woman followed Mulian's gaze, her face uneasy and pleading, as if she had made an excessive request but was afraid to trouble others. She walked towards the ward, but when she received no response, she didn't dare to move. Like a child who had made a mistake, she didn't dare to move when the teacher didn't say anything.

Lin Xi squinted her eyes, sat on the chair, sorting out the documents and forms in her hands, and said impatiently, "Are you blind? Can't you see I'm busy? Go find your head nurse, I don't care about you."

The old woman looked at Lin Xi with a look of confusion and grievance, as if she wanted to ask her who her head nurse was. But she was afraid that Lin Xi would get angry and really delay her work.

The old woman was very uneasy, picking at her fingers, her timid eyes sometimes looking at Lin Xi, sometimes looking at Mu Lian. The fever made her dizzy and heavy, and her whole body felt uncomfortable. She wanted to find someone to help her, but she couldn't remember her attending doctor or her attending nurse. Everyone was wearing a mask, and she really couldn't recognize them. She was as confused as an abandoned child, standing at the intersection, unable to remember the way home, and with no money in her pocket, she could only stand at the intersection, helpless and confused.

Mu Lian was so angry that her eyes were wide open and she was fuming. She wanted to spit out a ball of fire and burn Lin Xi to death. Her index finger trembled and pointed at Lin Xi. The fire in her chest burst out. The director's face flashed through her mind for a moment. "How dare you talk in front of the patient! What do you mean it's not your responsibility? Every nurse in the general department is responsible for every patient. What kind of attitude do you have? How can you still be a nurse? You are a disaster. If you don't want to be a nurse, then get out. Someone else will naturally be willing to be one."

Upon hearing this, Dabing's hands became wet and covered with foam. After cleaning them in a standard operating room, he held his hands in front of his chest with his fingers pointing upwards and immediately ran out quickly. Nothing could compare to being on the front line of eating melons.

The patients in the ward immediately rushed out of the hospital door, looking like they were watching a show. Some even moved out chairs and sat at the door to comment online.

"What's this about?"

"I heard that the nurse discovered that the girl had snatched her boyfriend away, and then the two of them started fighting."

"This girl is not a good person. She actually stole someone else's boyfriend. She deserves to be scolded."

"It's different from what I heard. It was clearly a nurse who stole the girl's boyfriend. The girl found out and chased her to the department to start a quarrel."

"No, this girl stole the nurse's girlfriend, and the two of them started fighting and tearing each other apart."

"Oh my god, this is so exciting! Girls nowadays are so good at having fun."

"How is that possible? This nurse has a background. She's the director's daughter. She obviously discovered her father cheating on her with a young woman. I'm sorry, her mother can't accept it."

"The dean's daughter is not short of money. Who's stupid enough to choose her and save ten years of journey? That woman must have robbed her father."

When Lin Xi saw the people gathered together, she became furious and started cursing loudly.

"You're a disaster to people. You're a person who knows nothing. What the hell are you qualified to teach me? My dad didn't say anything to me. You're a stupid person who knows nothing. You don't even know how much ascites you have. You're even more of a disaster to people."

The old woman felt very guilty, with a look of remorse on her face. Her hot, wrinkled hands gently pulled Mulian, trying to pull her away from Lin Xi, fearing that Lin Xi would hurt her.

The old woman pulled the stubborn Mulian who was as stubborn as a cow and whispered to him, "I'm not hot anymore, let's go."

The crowd immediately surrounded the three of them, and if they were even a second slower, they wouldn't have been able to squeeze in.

Dapan was filled with regret as she looked at the foam on her hands. Just a second of hesitation would have completely blocked her outside. Even if she jumped frantically, she couldn't see the fight between the two dwarfs inside.

Dabing suddenly had an idea. He raised his foamy hands to his chest and said loudly, "I have Hepatitis B. Please move aside to avoid infection."

Immediately, everyone in the crowd avoided Da Bing who was walking forward.

Dabing walked forward with his head down, afraid that if he looked up, others would see through his smiling face. When he was about to squeeze to the front, his shoes did not move at all.
