Chapter 18: Lower Qi Blockage, Upper Qi Opening

Mulian pried the old woman's hands apart and shouted, "You understand? You're just complaining all day long."

"You~." Lin Xi was so angry that she couldn't speak. Her nose was panting like a cow, and her chest was rising and falling rapidly. She pointed at Mulian with trembling fingers. Because she was the dean's daughter, no one had ever humiliated her like this before.

"Fuck you, what I said is the truth. You just don't understand anything. You are so stupid."

The old woman looked anxious and guilty, thinking it was because of her that the two girls quarreled, causing everyone to watch and embarrass Mulian. How could she get married in the future if so many people saw her? She was very anxious and pulled Mulian hard, muttering, "Girl, I'm not hot anymore, let's go, let's go. It's all because of me, this damn old woman, who caused trouble. If I hadn't asked, this wouldn't have happened. I'm not hot anymore, let's go."

The old woman was very old and didn't have the strength to pull a young man.

After hearing what the old woman said, Mulian's chest was boiling with rage. She stood there, unwilling to be outdone, staring at Lin Xi with her eyes wide open. She deliberately pinched her nose with one hand, looking disgusted by the stench, and fanned herself with the other hand, "There's food on your teeth, it's rotten, it stinks."

Everyone subconsciously looked at Lin Xi. After hearing the command, their bodies instinctively leaned back slightly, staring at Lin Xi's mouth with obscure eyes.

When Lin Xi saw everyone's expressions, she was so angry that her blood pressure soared, her face became flushed, and her whole body was shaking. Without saying a word, she picked up a stack of work records on the table and threw them at Mu Lian.

Mulian and the old woman were standing together when a stack of books came flying towards them. The old woman couldn't stand bumps and bruises the most. She had osteoporosis and it was easy for her to break a bone if she fell. If she had underlying diseases, it would be difficult to recover and would leave sequelae.

It was the first time the old woman had encountered such a situation. She froze in place, too frightened to move.

The crowd gasped, they just wanted to eat a small melon, not a big one.

In a flash, Mulian instinctively turned around and held the old woman in her arms. She would only get bruises or bleeding if she was hit, but she was young and recovered quickly.

Mulian closed her eyes. The long-awaited pain in her back did not subside for a long time. The crowd suddenly became quiet.

Mulian opened her eyes, looking confused. Could it be that she had traveled through time?

Behind Mulian, a warm and gentle voice passed by her ears, making her feel numb and tingling. Her heart seemed to be electrocuted and was beating uncontrollably.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere? Let me take a look."

Suddenly, a pair of hands rested on Mulian's shoulders and turned her body around.

Mulian finally saw clearly and was stunned for a moment, not used to Baiyu being so close.

"Are you hurt? Tell me, okay?"

Bai Yu was extremely anxious and looked Mu Lian up and down. Mu Lian, who was usually very smart, suddenly became dull and seemed to be scared silly. This made him feel bad and very scared.

The old woman became sick when she saw Mulian's distraught look. She kept muttering, "It's over. The girl has been bewitched. She's going to die. She can't live anymore. My husband was like this before he passed away. He was dumb and wouldn't respond when I called him. It's over. It's over. It's all my fault. I've ruined the girl."

Bai Yu comforted the old woman in a gentle voice, "Grandma, don't think too much. It's not your fault. Are you hurt? If not, just go back to the ward first, okay? There are too many people here, and it would be bad if you bump into anything."

The old woman was very worried and stood beside Mulian.

Suddenly, a voice rang out from the crowd, "You're fucking sick! Push me!"

"If anything happens to my mom, you're dead."

Shizhu crossed his arms over his chest, looking calm, as if it had nothing to do with him. He watched quietly as Bai Yu could not break out of the crowd and could not reach the middle. When he saw a stack of books thrown towards Mulian, he pushed an old man to the ground in a hurry and flew to protect Mulian.

Dabing saw the right opportunity and immediately raised his foot and kicked Shizhu in the butt.

With a "bang", Shizhu fell to the ground.

The scene was very chaotic.

Dabing immediately ran towards Mulian, and turned around and smiled proudly at Shizhu while running.

Shizhu didn't expect to be kicked like that and fell to the ground. He immediately stood up, patted his clothes, and walked into the crowd to reduce his presence, hoping that no one would remember his embarrassing appearance just now.

The smug look on Dapan's face hadn't faded yet, and he came to the front line with a look of joy and victory, "Xiaolian, how are you? I was just blocked by Shizhu and couldn't come over to help you."

Bai Yu was very worried. He put his hands on Mulian's shoulders, looked at her seriously, and said to Dabing, "Take care of Comrade Mulian."

Mulian was not used to being so close to a boy. Their breaths overlapped with each other. Ugh, she was breathing in the carbon dioxide exhaled by Baiyu. No wonder the more she breathed, the more confused her mind became and she felt dizzy.

Bai Yu finished speaking and was about to walk towards the place where the aunt fell, when he heard Lin Xi's delicate and plaintive crying voice, "Boo-boo-boo~, Brother Yu, boo-boo-boo~, my hand hurts."

Lin Xi took advantage of everyone's eyes following the stack of books to fall on Mulian. As soon as she saw Bai Yu, she panicked. What should she do? How could she explain to Bai Yu that she was the victim? She really didn't mean to hit Mulian, but was just angry at her. Would Bai Yu believe it?

Lin Xi hardened her heart, used her body to block everyone's view, and smashed her right wrist against the desk drawer, causing a large red and swollen area. She pretended that she was also injured when she just picked up the book, but she was so angry with Mu Lian that she ignored the pain in her hand and smashed the book at Mu Lian.
