Chapter 37: Touching in the Hospital

When they were at the door, Director Mai threw the wig out and kicked Mulian out with one hand. Feeling unsatisfied, he immediately raised his leg and wanted to kick Mulian.

The petite girl Mulian was like the difference between a chicken and a bear in front of the fat Director Mai, and her strength was completely crushed.

Mulian was thrown forward by inertia, and her feet could have braked. She saw Mai Guang's feet out of the corner of her eye, but she couldn't stop the car.

The next second, Mulian fell to the ground in a mess, and she felt a sharp pain in her buttocks. The kick hit the bone, and she subconsciously gasped in pain.

Immediately, people from the department rushed over. It didn't matter how they cursed, but it was absolutely forbidden to fight in that attire. They were all wearing white coats, and the hospital would not be able to explain themselves if they didn't stop the fight.

The other doctors stood between the two and pushed the director inside.

"Director, why are you angry with a girl? If you don't want her, then don't have her."

"If you don't want her, just tell her to get lost."

"It's not worth it to get yourself mad at me."

"Yes, Director, you are such a prestigious person, why are you talking to someone like her? She is not even worthy."

"Director, don't be angry. Drink some water and cool down."

After sending the patient down, Bai Yu followed the nephrologist into the office with ease to hand over the patient. Before he even entered, he heard Mu Lian's angry voice. His heart skipped a beat and he ran into the office.

As soon as I entered, I saw Mulian and Mai Guang arguing with each other, neither of them was willing to pay any attention to the other.

Senior Brother Bai Yu immediately rushed over, grabbed Mulian, and pushed her out without any hesitation.

Mulian was furious. As she was being pushed, she cursed, "You old bitch, you'll be hacked to death by this patient sooner or later."

As soon as Senior Brother Bai Yu heard Mulian speak, he immediately covered Mulian's mouth and walked out while covering it.

These words are a hundred times more poisonous than cursing one's parents.

When Mai Guang heard this, his anger instantly soared. He cursed and threw the medical record folder at his senior brother, "Get out of here! Don't let me see her."

Mu Lian looked at Senior Brother Bai Yu with resentment in her eyes. Not only did he not help her, but he also obstructed her. She knew that they were from the same hospital and were colluding with each other to bully her.

The senior brother covered Mulian's mouth and dragged her away, turning back to apologize to the director, "Director, I'm sorry, she's not usually like this."

Mai Guang sneered, raised the corner of his mouth, and was very sarcastic. What kind of person is this? He has no brains at all and his life is just a waste of air.

After the senior brother dragged Mulian to the stairs, he let go of the hand that was covering Mulian after seeing that the area was safe.

Neither of them noticed that there was another tall man following behind them.

Mulian was very angry. She wiped her lips fiercely with the back of her right hand. Tears welled up in her eyes. Her eyes were full of stubbornness and resentment. "I told you, my hands are full of bacteria. Don't touch me."

The senior brother noticed the red marks around Mulian's right wrist at a glance. He initially judged that these marks would fade away, but he felt very uncomfortable and a little depressed. "Junior sister, why do you have to fight with him?"

Although Mulian was angry, she kept things in perspective and would not get angry with her senior brother. She slowly calmed down.

This feeling of humiliation is really unpleasant and stuck in my chest.

The senior brother bit his lip tightly, looking like he had something to say but didn't know how to start.

Not hiding emotions at all.

Mulian sat on the stairs nearby, looking listless, like a dog that had lost its home. "Brother, you look like you're about to say something but not yet. What do you want to tell me? You've been struggling with this for so long."

After asking, Mulian quickly regretted it.

Senior Brother: "Junior Sister, next time let's not get angry. If you have something to say, talk slowly and don't be impulsive."

The senior brother expressed his feelings as tactfully as possible, hoping that the junior sister could control her temper, be calm and steady, and not act impulsively.

Mulian's face suddenly dropped, and she pulled a face full of unhappiness, "Are you saying that I'm wrong?"

The senior brother immediately shook his head and waved his hands, standing beside Mu Lian and explaining hurriedly, "No, Junior Sister. That's not what I meant. What I meant was, if we take a step back, the world will be more open, and everyone will be harmonious. Isn't that good?"

Mulian stood up without saying a word and was about to walk out. People with different ideas cannot work together!

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her clothes.

Mulian turned her head away, her face full of displeasure, "Why are you pulling me?"

The senior brother said seriously, "Junior sister, I'm not saying you're wrong. It's just that you need to learn to protect yourself. You openly challenged Director Mai like that. You don't understand the connections in the medical community. It's not easy to get to this position. I'm afraid you'll get hurt."

Mulian: "It doesn't matter. I'm not staying in this hospital anyway, so who's afraid of him?"

I am also a financial sponsor who pays money and an intern who pays money. Who is afraid of him?

The senior brother shook his head slightly, his face serious. "Junior sister, you think too simply. This network of relationships is spread all over the country. Otherwise, why do you think everyone is so cowardly?"

"During the eight to ten years of study, my classmates were all over the country. After I started working, I met doctors from other hospitals at various conferences. Almost everyone was in the same circle and knew each other."

"This will be very detrimental to your future job search."

The senior brother spoke earnestly, hoping that Mulian could understand the interests involved.

Mulian was as calm as a dead pig, “I don’t care.”

Seeing that he couldn't persuade Mulian, the senior brother got angry. This person who didn't care about firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea blurted out, "Are you so short of money?"

Mulian was completely stunned. She hadn't considered this question; she simply felt she had to support herself with her own hands. Was she short of money? She was, but not so short of money that she'd compromise herself for it. She didn't need it, but it also seemed like she couldn't buy anything she wanted.
