Chapter 58 Shizhu is angry

Shi Zhu explained anxiously, "Junior sister, you think too much. We men are used to being rejected. We won't think too much about something like you."

Is she used to being rejected? How many rejections does it take to get used to it? If so, if she works harder and sells more wigs, and gets rejected more often, then she'll get used to it, and rejections won't hurt her anymore. Then she'll be invincible, selling wigs to everyone.

Thinking of this, I suddenly felt that I was closer to becoming a millionaire.

Shi Zhu looked at the beaming Mu Lian and immediately felt that his words were very effective. He then continued to persuade Mu Lian and told her to quickly give up the idea that her feelings were ineffective. "Junior sister, we men don't care about these little things. If you're in a bad mood, you can give me a little scolding to vent your emotions."

"Besides, for us men, protecting our girlfriends is our mission. We will work harder to make money, provide her with a good material foundation, and work harder to make her happy."

"Now that I think about it, isn't it nice to have a boyfriend?"

Mulian was still immersed in how to increase sales, so she suddenly asked her, bringing her back to the point, "So, Senior Brother Baiyu doesn't mind?"

Shizhu had a look of frustration on his face, and he gritted his teeth and said, "I've said so much, but you didn't listen."

Mulian looked silly and nodded. She understood, but he didn't say whether Bai Yu would mind. So, she asked.

Gentleman Shizhu stretched out a hand and gestured with his eyes to Mulian to continue. What did she understand?

Mulian: "You haven't told me yet, would Senior Brother Baiyu mind?"

Shizhu couldn't help but stand up and walk out, but then, thinking that he couldn't give up all his efforts, he walked back and sat down reluctantly. He didn't understand why he was so annoyed. He was annoyed that she always only asked him, Bai Yu, if he minded.

Mulian looked at Shizhu who had left and returned, and she couldn't understand what he was doing. Of course, she didn't think much about it. She only thought about making money.

Shizhu looked at Mulian's silly and cute face, not caring at all, and was so angry that his teeth itched. He couldn't help but reach out and flicked Mulian's head. "You care about him so much, and you don't listen to me."

Shizhu was a little unhappy as she spoke. He had said so much to her, but it was like playing the lute to a cow. When he thought about how every time he tried to persuade her with all his heart, she had no reaction at all and always disobeyed him, he suddenly felt like his heart was blocked and unhappy. He didn't want to talk to her anymore. He would talk to her when she realized her mistake.

It's such a frustrating thing.

Mulian covered her head with her hands, looking unhappy. "Just talk, why are you using your hands?"

Shizhu's back teeth were about to break, and he couldn't help but reach out and give Mulian another big slap on the forehead. "Because you're stupid."

She cried out in pain, and Mulian was instantly displeased. She jumped up, pointed at Shizhu with a puffy face and asked, "You are stupid, as stupid as that pighead."

He said she was stupid, but how was she stupid? She could spot business opportunities that others hadn't. She was very smart, okay?

Shizhu stood up suddenly and walked out without saying a word, very angrily.

Mulian was the only one left sitting at the table. This guy was so stingy. He called her stupid, but she couldn't call him back? It was really not fun at all.

Mulian looked unhappy and sulky. She shook her head, trying to get rid of these emotions.

Since she couldn't sleep and it was almost time to go to work, Mulian walked out of the office and prepared to do some secretarial work.

In the office, Bai Yu sat in his seat, as usual, with dull eyes, typing mechanically on the computer.

Shizhu sat slumped in the corner, playing a game. He glanced at Mulian who walked in, then retracted his gaze and continued playing the game.

The whole room was eerily quiet, with only the sound of typing on the keyboard.

As soon as Mulian sat down, she was frightened.

Bai Yu suddenly stood up, his face tense and his eyes panicked. He glanced at Mulian and opened his mouth but didn't know what to say. Then he walked out with his hands and feet together, his body very stiff and uncoordinated.

Mu Lian looked confused and stuck her head out, watching Bai Yu walking down the corridor with his hands and feet trembling.

What's wrong with him? Is it because of her? But Shizhu said that boys don't mind being disliked.

Mulian turned her head and looked at Shizhu with a confused expression.

Shizhu slumped in the chair, glanced sideways, and then continued playing games.

Mulian tried to get an answer from Shizhu's face. The more she looked, the more she felt that Shizhu was a boy, and boys understood boys best. There was no need for him to lie to her, and lying to her would not benefit him. He should have told the truth. Baiyu must have simply visited the ward to see a patient, which was normal for someone who made 800 rounds a day.

Mulian withdrew her gaze and continued typing on the keyboard, doing some clerical work like copying and pasting that a cleaning lady could do.

2:30 pm.

In the office, unlike the morning when everyone was tense, everyone was lazy in the afternoon. They didn't get enough sleep and sat in front of the computer listlessly.

The office was immediately overcrowded and there were not enough computers.

Dabing was sitting at the computer next to Mulian. When he saw Baiyu was not there, he immediately took out his mobile phone to read the gossip news. Life was too hard, so he always had to find some fun.

Su Wei followed Mu Lian on time, his main idea was that she would fall in love with him over time. He didn't believe that he couldn't conquer his senior sister, and he was thinking about how to make her fall in love with him.

Shizhu sat in the corner, feeling very comfortable, scrolling the interface of his mobile phone and surfing the Internet from time to time.

The entire department was filled with a constant cacophony of gossip, small talk, and, more often, the clatter of keyboards. He was the only one sitting there, silent and expressionless. Suddenly, a sense of solitude welled up within him, a feeling of being misunderstood by no one. A line of poetry suddenly came to mind: "Alone and desolate, yet still comforting, a self-controlled melancholy."

Mulian sat in front of the computer, busy as a whirlwind, her eyes unable to see anything except the computer.

Shizhu was acting contrary to his usual self. He was browsing his phone, glancing at Mulian from time to time with a look that had never been seen before. Then, a thin layer of frost covered his face, making people feel frozen and afraid to approach him.

The classmate next to me couldn't help but rub his arms. The room was heated, but why was it still so cold? He couldn't help but complain, "The hospital is really getting more and more stingy. They don't even want to turn on the heating."

"It's just that it's so cold. I can't stand it. I need to go find something to wear."

The person who said he was going to find something to wear, looked at the computer he had finally occupied, curled up his body, sniffed, and decided to hold it in for a while, fearing that he would have no seat left once he left.

Su Wei immediately offered his courtesy, "Senior Sister, are you tired? Are you thirsty? I'll go get you some water."
