Chapter 315 Mysterious Forbidden Land, Pool of Black Mist

A moment later, the dirt on her body was expelled.

call!

Finally, she opened her eyes, exhaled a long breath, and her complexion became much rosier.

"Thank you so much for saving my life."

The girl stood up, bowed solemnly to Gu Yifeng, and spoke earnestly with a respectful expression.

"Little girl, why did you come here all by yourself?"

Gu Yifeng asked in confusion.

“My benefactor, this pool of water is very strange. Anyone who has stepped into it has never left.”

A look of panic crossed the girl's face as she explained in a trembling voice.

"oh?"

Gu Yifeng raised an eyebrow, a strange light flashing in his eyes.

Could there be some mystery hidden in this pool of water?

"This area is a forbidden zone; no one dares to set foot here."

After a pause, the girl slowly said, "Rumor has it that there is a treasure deep in the pool, but no one has found it."

After saying that, she sighed again.

There isn't even a single ferocious beast here, let alone rare and precious treasures; they're not so easy to find.

"Little one, weren't you going downstream in the pool? Hurry up and go!"

Just then, a commotion arose in the distance.

Upon hearing that familiar voice, the girl trembled, her whole body shaking with fear.

"Walk!"

At that moment, Gu Yifeng grabbed the girl's shoulders, activated the "Returning Dragon to its Origin" technique, and pushed off the rocks with his feet, soaring towards the depths of the pool.

Half an incense stick later, the two rushed out of the waterfall and appeared in the mountains and forests.

"Huh!"

Just as he was about to rest for a while, Gu Yifeng noticed something unusual. He saw that many martial artists were talking.

Something happened over there.

A martial artist pointed to the southwest and said softly.

Following the martial artist's finger, Gu Yifeng saw a cave made of piled-up rocks with a large character written on it: "Witch!"

Witchcraft Sect!

These two words popped into Gu Yifeng's mind, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

In his memory, this mountain range was called Wuling Mountain.

The mountains are shrouded in miasma and teeming with poisonous insects; they are a desolate place that no one dares to venture into.

Moreover, he had previously heard the old clan chief say that their village was attacked by a pack of wolves because of an evil force that existed there.

Just then, a thunderclap suddenly rang out, deafeningly loud.

Dark clouds shrouded the entire Wuling Mountain, obscuring the sky and blocking out the sun.

"This is...it's going to rain heavily!"

Everyone looked up and froze in shock.

The sky was dark, the wind howled, and large raindrops poured down from the heavens.

"Let's get going!"

Someone snapped out of their daze and immediately called to their companions.

The rain was too heavy; if we hadn't sought shelter sooner, we would have gotten our clothes soaked.

Whoosh!

Just then, a huge python appeared on the mountaintop, opened its mouth wide, and bit several martial artists to death.

"It's a dragon-serpent!"

A scream rang out.

Then, several martial artists were seen fleeing in panic, running towards the distance.

Hiss!

In an instant, hundreds of fine scales appeared, and a huge figure stood in front of everyone.

This was a serpent, entirely black, with a body thicker than a normal person's waist, and a head as large as a millstone, exuding a terrifying aura.

"It's over, we're all going to die!"

Upon seeing this, many martial artists knelt on the ground, their faces ashen, their eyes filled with despair and fear.

roar!

The serpent roared, baring its fangs and claws, and plumes of black smoke shot from its mouth.

In an instant, a cloud of black mist enveloped several martial artists, and a series of shrill screams rang out before they vanished into the mountains and forests.

"What a vicious beast!"

Gu Yifeng's eyelids twitched, and he couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.

"Young man, run!"

Having witnessed the power of the serpent, the girl's expression changed drastically, and she hurriedly urged Gu Yifeng to hurry up.

"Walk!"

Without wasting words, Gu Yifeng grabbed the girl and flew away.

The serpent roared, its tail whipping out gusts of wind that destroyed all the nearby trees.

Suddenly, its eyes darted around, staring at the departing figures of Gu Yifeng and his companion, its gaze filled with mockery and greed.

Whoosh!

Immediately afterwards, the serpent transformed into a streak of light and chased after it.

"Oh no, the serpent is catching up!"

The girl's expression changed, and she exclaimed in surprise.

"Little sister, don't be afraid, I'm here!"

Gu Yifeng offered a word of comfort and quickened his pace, traversing through the jungle.

roar!

The serpent roared, its tail sweeping across, snapping the surrounding vegetation and sending leaves flying everywhere, as if the end of the world had arrived.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Gu Yifeng clenched his right fist and threw punches through the air, the force of his punches like a tide, coming towards the tail.

Bang bang bang!

Fists collided, and explosions rang out incessantly, like muffled thunder.

Click!

On the serpent's tail, a scale was shattered, and blood flowed from it.

The serpent roared, its eyes gleaming with bloodlust, and a foul, nauseating stench wafted over.

Whoosh!

The serpent leaped into the air and lunged to bite.

Gu Yifeng snorted coldly, raised his arm, clenched his fist with his five fingers as hard as steel, and rammed it upwards.

Pfft!

With a single punch, the serpent flew backward.

"What a powerful physical body!"

Gu Yifeng was greatly alarmed.

He had already used eight-tenths of his strength, yet he could only injure the serpent, which greatly surprised him.

"Awoo!"

Seemingly humiliated, the serpent roared to the sky, coiled its body, smashed the surrounding trees in half, and suddenly attacked.

"cut!"

Gu Yifeng's face was solemn. He pointed his sword, and a silver light pierced the air, arriving in an instant.

Pfft!

A huge snake head flew out, crimson blood splattered, and the enormous corpse of the serpent fell from the sky and crashed to the ground.
