Gu Yifeng slowly walked into the valley, looking down at Li Tianba lying on the ground.
"You...cough cough cough..." Li Tianba tried to speak, but then started coughing repeatedly.
Gu Yifeng's gaze was cold and emotionless. He took another step forward, which startled Li Tianba. He used his last bit of strength to retreat, but his back was already against the wall.
"What are you going to do?" Li Tianba was terrified. He trembled and his eyes were filled with fear.
"Die." Gu Yifeng's lips curled into a wicked smile. Then, he waved his right hand, and a dagger appeared in his palm. He plunged it directly into Li Tianba's chest.
“Uh…you…” Li Tianba’s eyes widened. He murmured unwillingly, then his body went limp on the ground and he stopped breathing completely.
"Hmph!" Gu Yifeng pulled out his dagger, flicked off the blood, and turned to walk out of the valley.
Gu Yifeng moved slowly, swaying along the way. He sighed inwardly, "The only thing in this world that could threaten him no longer exists."
Before they knew it, Gu Yifeng had reached the outside of the valley, a flat area with no one around, and a towering tree standing not far away.
Gu Yifeng stood still, gazing up at the towering tree before him, his eyes flashing with a frenzied fighting spirit.
"Tonight, you are destined to sleep with me," Gu Yifeng grinned. "No matter where you run to, I will find you."
After saying that, Gu Yifeng sat down cross-legged, closed his eyes, adjusted his state, and waited for the night to fall.
