The attack came suddenly, and Gao Quan was fast asleep, unable to react at all, snoring as if no one was around.
Gao Jun's expression changed. A second after the dark figure appeared, he reacted quickly, crouched down, picked up a stone from the ground, and threw it.

With a muffled thud, the stone, enhanced by Gao Jun's spiritual energy, had its speed and striking power amplified, directly hitting the dark figure's body.
In the jungle, birds scattered. The dark figure, struck, changed direction and landed to the side with a muffled groan.
Gao Quan was startled awake, as if he had just woken from a nightmare. He looked around in surprise and disbelief: "Who's there?!"
No one answered him. Gao Jun leaped forward and charged toward the dark figure, already holding two stones in his hands, and snapped them twice!

The stone struck the shadowy figure precisely upon landing, producing two heavy thuds. The force was immense, something an ordinary person could not withstand, yet the shadowy figure tried to get up.
Gao Jun looked up and saw the dark figure. It was a short man with dark skin and a face that looked like it was tattooed with deep blue lines.
He emitted a faint fluorescent glow, giving off a strong sense of threat. With a roar, he pounced on Gao Jun.
"It's you?!" Gao Quan recognized Gao Jun and the dark figure, and his expression changed drastically, because it was none other than his captain!
Sure enough, they caught up.
Gao Quan instinctively clutched his purse, which contained important spirit stones, his face filled with shock and confusion.
The captain's consciousness was overwhelmed by the energy of the spirit stone, and his reason was long gone, turning him into a monster who only knew how to kill and plunder.
He has an intricate connection with the spirit stone, and now Gao Quan knows this. No matter where he is, the captain will chase after him and he will never be able to escape.
Gao Jun snorted coldly. He had fought against the extraordinary Yin soldiers on the icy battlefield, and the trials and tribulations between life and death had already forged his strong will.
The man before him had eyes that blazed red, like a wild wolf in the mountains; he knew he was not to be underestimated.
The two sides clashed nearby, exchanging blows and fighting fiercely.
After being startled, Gao Quan quickly calmed down and realized what was happening. He got up and tried to run, but as soon as he turned around, the monster pounced on him.
Gao Jun was taken aback. This humanoid monster didn't seem to be coming towards him. Gao Quan wanted to run, so he immediately changed his target.
"Ahhhhh!" Gao Quan screamed, it was an unconscious, uncontrollable scream, his heel was caught by a tree root, and his body fell backward uncontrollably.
At the critical moment, Gao Jun moved even faster, his feet planted firmly on the soft soil, creating two deep footprints with tremendous force. He leaped up and kicked the monster in the back.
puff!
With a muffled thud, the monster was propelled by immense force, flying sideways, skimming over the fallen Gao Quan, tumbling, and crashing into a tree trunk.
Gao Quan was sweating profusely. Before he could even get up, the humanoid monster unleashed its immense power once more. Its target remained unchanged: Gao Quan!
Whoosh!
The stones, amplified in speed and imbued with immense energy, struck the monster's head with one and its left shoulder with the other, tripping it again.
"Come here!" Gao Jun shouted. Although he didn't know why this monster was chasing Gao Quan, subconsciously he didn't want him to get hurt.
I want to deal with this person first, then question them carefully to find out what secrets they are hiding...
Seeing this, Gao Quan scrambled to Gao Jun's back, making him face the monster head-on. The two of them pounced on each other again and rolled onto the ground.
However, the monster was hit by Gao Jun's flying stones one after another, and began to bleed profusely. Its injuries were extremely serious, but it was unconscious and thus continued to go berserk.
Gao Jun was a veteran soldier with extensive combat experience. He disregarded his own life and kicked the monster in the side.

Gao Quan tensed up. Although he had witnessed far more bloody battlefields, he was still awestruck by Gao Jun's aura in those few seconds.
Gao Jun wiped his hunting knife clean with the monster's clothes, held it upside down, and walked towards Gao Quan step by step.
"..." Gao Quanxin jumped to his throat, took a few steps back, gritted his teeth, and turned to run.

The next second, Gao Quan's right ear was hit by a flying rock at great speed, causing him to scream. He covered it with his hand, and when he looked up, it was covered in blood.
