Shi Tou was Qin Che's closest person. She knew that Qin Che had already entered a higher level of understanding, and could keep track of external developments even while venturing deep into the Black Tide World.
This sensitivity and ability to consider all aspects demonstrate that Qin Che has the highest compatibility with spiritual energy, making him the number one person in the world.
The Academy of Sciences has also conducted similar experiments, but no one has been able to surpass Qin Che's talent.
If that day ever comes and a demigod descends, and Qin Che says he can take on three at once, Shi Tou wouldn't disbelieve him.
A dozen days later, the Nova fleet entered the observation range, and lookout towers in various locations detected a fleet of tens of thousands of people approaching Earth at an extremely fast speed.
Pope Qiu, Li Xin, and others have been waiting in the Leopard Court for a long time, without making a move.
"The nuclear warheads are already in place, and Xinxing doesn't dare to send out too many people. We don't need to deploy all our defenses," Li Xin was giving the order.
Wu Ming stood beside him as his assistant, while Pope Qiu stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the starry sky with a solemn expression. A group of great extraordinary popes also stood beside him.
The Cult of Machine God has no Master. The strongest Pope, who was groomed as a successor by Pope Qiu, is merely a Great Transcendent.
But there are many of them, including dozens of highly extraordinary individuals.
Even if the Master arrives, he will not be able to break free from the encirclement of these popes in a short time.
"The rising stars lack awakened traits; their extremely low compatibility determines everything. Without the natural favor of psionic energy, they will be defeated!"
Before leaving the station, Li Xin stood on the high platform and gave a speech that inspired the soldiers, who cheered enthusiastically.
Leopard Court has fought for many years without ever suffering a defeat; they are an invincible army. Many soldiers actually look down on the rising stars.
With Li Xin's instigation, the Nova humans have become their prey in the eyes of the warriors.
“That makes sense, too. If the enemy fleet lands on Earth, we’ll need them to fight on the front lines sooner or later,” Wu Ming said.
Stone remained silent. She did not want the enemy fleet to land, as it would be very troublesome to deal with, and Earth could not withstand another war.
Today, the Earth is already in a state of disarray, and although psionic energy is surging outwards, it will eventually run out.
Before it could fully nourish the earth, it was about to face war again. Under repeated blows, how could any egg remain intact?
Everyone stayed in the command post. Not long after, someone came to report that the fleet had approached the first line of defense.
Stone, sensing the impending curtain, suddenly opened his eyes and nodded: "Fire the first barrage!"
"yes!"
Operators are responsible for controlling the direction and launch time of the deep-space nuclear warheads, and a large number of nuclear warheads can be seen silently wandering in deep space.
Rockets propelled them forward, closing in on the fleet at an incredible speed!
The cosmic eruption was silent; through the observation deck, everyone saw patches of firelight illuminating the deep sky, like shimmering stars.
"Enemy fleet hit! Explosions are spreading backward!"
The command center erupted in cheers, as they hadn't expected that the first line of defense would stop the enemy fleet and inflict damage on them.
However, the troops were quick-witted and immediately retreated, never daring to step into the minefield again.
The troops sent by the divine city are all veterans. Although they have not experienced any war, they are all advanced humans produced by gene editing.
They can suppress their emotions and completely execute their superiors' orders.
The fleet began to retreat. The commander sent an alert to Nova, saying that the area around Earth was full of minefields and that they should not venture there lightly, awaiting orders from higher command.
And so, after the fleet retreated, it did not leave, but remained motionless and quiet in deep space.
Soon, Nova's orders arrived, instructing them to retreat and not to venture further into Earth's atmosphere.
And so the fleet left without ever again interfering with Earth.
Amid the cheers of the crowd, Stone's face grew increasingly gloomy; the more cautious they were, the more insecure Stone felt.
The people of New Star must have realized that the natural disasters on Earth were none other than the ancient humans on Earth.
These humans were dissatisfied with the new aliens mining and stealing psionic energy on Earth, so they drove them away and killed them. Those strongholds must have suffered.
Nova, City of Gods.
The leaders sat down together again.
This was the second meeting since the last one, only a dozen days apart, but everyone looked solemn.
"The humans of the old land are attacking us."
"This is not something we want to see."
"Could it be that they've discovered what we've been doing on Earth?"
"That should be the case. Moreover, there was a demigod we sent to the stronghold named Yang Zun, and he is also dead."
"Dead?"
Everyone was surprised. Yang Zun was an old demigod, quite old, experienced, and had been stationed on Earth for many years.
He's dead!
"This shows that there is also a demigod suppressing the old land. He fought Yang Zun to the death and a winner was decided. Our loss of contact with the stronghold explains everything."
"It seems that's the case; the Old Earth has discovered our methods."
“I warned you that if things continue like this, the Earth will be depleted, and the old humans will not sit idly by and wait for their demise.”
"Hmph, you don't believe it, and insist on going to the tiger's den. This is retribution."
At the round table, there were also opponents, whose leader had previously opposed their development of Earth and the extraction of psionic energy for their own use.
But the tide had turned against him, and his warnings were drowned out by the sea of voices. Now that something has gone wrong, he's the first to jump out and offer hindsight advice.
No one at the round table paid him any attention; they simply exchanged glances, and everything was understood without a word.
"What do we do now? If Earth also has demigods, our garrison won't be enough to kill them," a leader suddenly said.
