Chapter 41 A Little Green on His Head
Director Cheng held the medical record book, stammering.
Xie Hengzhi crossed his legs and sat opposite him, saying slowly, "How is it?"
"I was so embarrassed that I didn't dare to go up and measure his current condition." Director Cheng blushed as the scene he had just witnessed flashed through his mind.
As the mechanical door opened, he saw the young man with his chin slightly raised, and a pair of large, tanned hands on his fair waist, with distinct knuckles and full of strength.
The fingerprints are faintly visible on the skin.
Alpha's expression was subdued, probably out of fear of hurting someone.
It was terrifying to watch.
Director Cheng asked cautiously, "Are you even keeping this from Yunhuai?"
"Of course." Xie Hengzhi raised his eyes and warned, "If you dare to spread this around, you know the consequences. Just treat Lin Yao as a medicine and add him to Xing Chen's treatment list, understand?"
Director Cheng recalled the scene of his first meeting with Lin Yao and felt a pang of guilt.
The child said the hospital made a mistake in the test, and refused to be a match for Xie Xingchen. His aloof and stubborn appearance at that time is still vivid in my mind.
But now, having been given leverage, they've actually delivered themselves to our doorstep, becoming our tools.
But wasn't he also being manipulated and oppressed by others? He simply nodded slightly and said, "I understand."
Xie Hengzhi tapped the table with his fingertip: "How many days would this situation take?"
"It's unclear; it can take anywhere from three days to a week. It's more serious than a normal susceptible period and requires constant monitoring and testing," said Director Cheng.
Xie Hengzhi stood up and strode towards the office door, telling his assistant who was standing there, "Bring their phones and changes of clothes over later. It must be quite boring being locked up for so long. As for Li Mao, let's wait a few days until Xingchen returns to school before dealing with him."
He paused for a moment: "If we don't let him watch over it personally, there's no point in resolving the issue."
"Yes, Alliance Leader."
Director Cheng was on duty until midnight. When Xie Xingchen pressed the call button, he pushed open the door and entered with the suitcase and medicine brought by his assistant.
He approached slowly, his footsteps very light.
Lin Yao was lying on top of Xie Xingchen, covered with a thin blanket, only his messy hair was showing.
As expected of an S-class Alpha in terms of combat power.
"Did she faint?" Director Cheng put his suitcase aside, took out a measuring device, and turned the volume down to the lowest setting. "Take a measurement."
Xie Xingchen skillfully wrapped the wrist around his arm, looked down at the person lying in his arms, and whispered, "Asleep."
While waiting, he reflected on what had just happened and still felt restless.
At first, it was all an act, but things got a little too far.
Not only himself, but Lin Yao also seemed to be under a spell.
Who could resist that?
He definitely won't be able to resist.
After Director Cheng left the room, he took off his mask, pulled the person close, and kissed them.
Lin Yao appears aloof and indifferent, but he is actually very easily provoked.
So embarrassed I didn't know what to do.
His ears turned bright red, and he tried to push the person's shoulder away.
Xie Xingchen reached out to help him.
"Your breathing sounds so nice, baby," he whispered, nibbling at the other's shoulder as he did so.
The joy of having control over your loved one surpasses everything else.
After a whole day of tension, Lin Yao finally relaxed and fell asleep, and he hasn't woken up since.
"Your hormone levels are still ridiculously high. You've had several checkups, why haven't they gone down at all?"
Director Cheng felt he had hit a career plateau. "A 100% compatible Omega, plus our specially developed inhibitor, showed absolutely no signs of decline. Is that reasonable?"
Xie Xingchen was also very helpless and had no way to express his suffering.
He leaned back against the bed and sincerely suggested, "You should increase the dosage and use it together; I'm afraid he won't be able to handle it."
Otherwise, given the current situation, he and Lin Yao would be locked up in this isolation room forever.
Director Cheng, a middle-aged man, was deeply stung: "Are you showing off? Or are you implying that my medical skills are too poor and I should change careers?"
Xie Xingchen: "..........You're so fragile."
Director Cheng, who had to work late into the night, was filled with resentment. She deftly gave him an injection and then patted Lin Yao on the back: "You should get up and take some supplements, or you won't make it through tomorrow."
"Don't call him." Xie Xingchen frowned, his tone displeased.
In the past few years, as his attending physician, I have observed that this child speaks calmly and gently, and it is rare to see him show the violence of someone whose territory has been violated.
It was as if taking another step would mercilessly tear this intruder to shreds.
She's only eighteen years old.
With the innate imposing aura of an S-class Alpha, Director Cheng shuddered and placed the nutrient solution on the bedside table: "Then remember to feed him. I'm leaving."
Xie Xingchen raised his hand to press his temples and said in a low voice, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean to you."
"It's alright, I understand. I'll come again tomorrow." Director Cheng's tense expression relaxed a bit, and he took out two cell phones from his pocket. "Your dad had them brought over; they're here."
Xie Xingchen hummed in agreement, watching the mechanical door open and close again. He tightened his arms, pulling Lin Yao even closer into his embrace.
The phone on the bedside table started vibrating.
He looked up and saw that it was Lin Yao's phone ringing. It was midnight, and the number was an unknown number without a contact name.
Xie Xingchen swiped and hung up the call for him.
Two seconds later, the phone called again, I hung up, and it called again.
After being tossed and turned several times, Lin Yao's sleepiness was finally shaken off. Still half-asleep, with his eyes still closed, he asked, "Why are you moving?"
"Someone's looking for you. They called five times. Who would call you in the middle of the night?" Xie Xingchen complained maliciously, his eyes wide open. "I finally managed to fall asleep, and then I got woken up again."
As we were talking, the phone rang again, as if it wouldn't stop until we answered it.
Xie Xingchen slid the phone away and held it to Lin Yao's ear, saying coldly, "You answer it and speak."
Lin Yao was already incredibly annoyed by all the fidgeting, so he pulled the blanket over his head and mumbled, "This is so annoying, can you please stop disturbing my sleep?"
Xie Xingchen's lips curled slightly. Not knowing who was on the other end, he said, "Did you hear that? Can you please stop disturbing our sleep? I'm hanging up."
Jiang Qiran, on the other end of the phone, stared at his phone and remained silent for three seconds.
I don't know if I misheard, but the voice sounded so familiar, just like an Alpha who was locked up in an isolation room because of his heat cycle.
She's caught up in the gossip about her fiancé.
Xie Yunhuai, smoking a cigarette beside him, asked, "Did you accept it? How did it go?"
Jiang Qiran's slender fingers pulled a cigarette from his cigarette case, lit it, took a deep drag, and exhaled.
"I feel like I'm being cuckolded."
