Chapter 21 The Lu Family
Lu Jianhong frowned slightly.
He gestured to Xie Yutong to wait a moment, his face apologetic, and said softly, "I'm going to take this call."
Xie Yutong smiled and nodded, watching Lu Jianhong turn away.
Lu Jianhong entered the study, closed the door, and shut out the noise from the outside world.
He pressed the answer button and politely said, "Hello."
A serious voice came from the other end of the phone: "Hello, this is the Qingyun District Police Station of Liguang City. We have the results of our investigation into the incident where your daughter was almost assaulted."

The police officer on the other end of the phone described the whole story in detail.

He breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that Lu Yao had escaped unscathed.
Fortunately, he was already an idiot; if he had been insulted, the Lu family would have lost all face.

The police officer responded politely, "It's what we should do, Mr. Lu."
